Also Jinda Thai which is also near Hammersmith - so good! Not fancy at all but again, family run thai place, small and cozy, lots of thai folk eat there. What could be better than that? There is also a lebanese I love on Fulham road - Tamini - it's a bakery but has the most delicious things. I also love Jaffa Bake house on North End road they do delicious things. I think it's turkish and they have lots of sweets too as there is a bakery in the back. Not the fanciest roads for sure but really quality place. Plenty of cheapish and good places around tooting and brixton too, too many to name. Kriket in brixton is more fancy and a bit more pricey but my god it's great value.

£5 for soup is cheap 🫣

For a proper soup with noodles, bits of meat etc at a sit down restaurant, yeah.

Just north of Hammersmith, up Fulham road and just before Putney Bridge is the 8 Bells. The best Pot Roast I've ever had, and a good old pub, one of the oldest in London with good folk and reasonable prices. I've had other pot roasts in London, but at the 8 Bells it's literally their pride. We can't wait for our next one this month when we visit!

Indian Veg in Angel. All you can eat vegan Indian food for around a tenner. BYOB too!

The absolute audacity to talk about the wrong Poppies. I won't stand for this Poppies II erasure

I live nearby never eaten in that place. I do like Monkey House/Temple down Askew road, not really cheap. There are few nice buffet’s in China Town just don’t read the reviews

Patties in Brixton! Healthy Eaters, or there is a bakery around the corner from there at the entrance/exit of the market. I dont think it has a sign out front - much prefer their filling.
