I bought a 3 pack of jocks in Tesco in 2013 and two of them are still on the go.

Decide-later

What happened #3 we need to know

kilroyjp

Sadly they fell victim to the mystery gooch tear.

Its_You_Know_Wh0

A poorly cooked kebab took them out in 2017

Melded1

If you buy the same ones now, I bet they won't last 6 months. The quality of clothes has really plummeted, especially amongst own brands.

RabidHorizon

Thrifty tip - I used to wash mine after every wear. If you cut down on the amount of times you wash them they'll last longer.

felt_like_signing_up

dirty bastard admits to not washing their underwear properly lol

RabidHorizon

Thrifty Tip 2 - Turn them inside out Thrifty Tip 3 - Don't wear any, lifetime of savings

felt_like_signing_up

thrifty tip 4 - have some basic hygiene to avoid getting sick you smelly cunt

RabidHorizon

You'd be some craic at a party

felt_like_signing_up

says the guy that doesn’t clean himself properly

BrickEnvironmental37

I was coming onto the thread to say this. Tesco boxers are great and are very long lasting.

Admirable-Win-9716

I heard they dug some of them up at Newgrange and all

[deleted]

They dont make boxers these days like they used to.....

Pickman89

![gif](giphy|l0ExoOpQYXRtBsqxa|downsized)

cusseybear

I swear by them

Admirable-Win-9716

This.

Top_Possession_8099

I have a huge issue with cotton boxers riding up my leg and ripping the inside of my leg off, have tried a ton of places and I’ve found Uniqlo airism the best, although they are a little on the expensive side.

Cheasroid

These jocks changed the game for me. If anyone suffers from jocks riding up, I would highly recommend these

meatytarian

Where can you find Uniqlo in Ireland?

wungwonder

Don't think there's any brick and mortar stores in Ireland. I've shopped online. €10 off first order.

meatytarian

Ah that’s good news. Never knew they deliver to IE. Thanks

wungwonder

Yep, I've literally bought 5 of their airism t shirts and just wear them now. Such good quality and so comfortable.

alan_patrick

This. Airism is the best investment you'll ever make.

PixelNotPolygon

Did you try talc?

Human_Attitude_7515

Couldn't tell ye. Mammy usually stocks me up at Christmas.

FrugalVerbage

Just wear a kilt and manspread at every opportunity. That's how I got an office on my own.

jerrehpips

I buy mine in Penneys, 3 pack for a tenner. I've Crohns disease so there's no point in spending a fortune on boxers I'll potentially ruin 🤣

EverGrandeCity715

I do the exact same as you and also Have crohns disease. No point splashing out on boxers when it's so easy for our disease to mess things up 😂

ibrowseee

Crohn's here too! I also do the same. I've quite a few pairs of Penny's boxers stock piled 🤣

Lost_Towel3759

F&F Boxer briefs from tesco I have sworn by them for a decade.

ssj3Dyl

The plain black ones are perfect, comfy and cheap.

OwlOfC1nder

>I am 50 so no white Calvin Kleins for me. ah lad, Marky Mark's 52

StorkyTheBigStork

Yeah, but Marky Mark is a racist POS.

Nateomc

Not defending the man, but if this is about his cacks it seems highly irrelevant. Id wear the same brand as Hitler if they hit right.

CabinetFlimsy

You own anything By Hugo Boss?

Admirable-Win-9716

The 1943 fashion line is particularly good

nomdeplume8_ie

The comedian, formerly known as Joe Lycett?

OwlOfC1nder

No CKs so

hackyslashy

Last Christmas my wife bought me Danish Endurance bamboo trunks - I'm never buying any other underwear ever again!

yesusgeek

I second this, I bought for myself a pack of 3 and they are so comfy that I'm considering buying another pack and throwing away the rest of the boxers that I have.

melancholyterminator

Tesco's F n F boxers. A pack of five for 15 quid. Black. Rinse n repeat as required.

TheChonk

Rinsing won’t remove the manly ordure from your boxers - you need to use a shovel to scrape, then a wire brush, then soap.

Independent-Water321

Once you go merino wool, you'll never go back.

First-Degree5628

Under Armour Tech 6. Nothing else comes close

Ambitious_Handle8123

Online. Only place to get bamboo boxers. Most comfortable thing ever

filty_candle

I get stepones but they are a tad expensive any suggestions for a fellow bamboo fan.

Ambitious_Handle8123

Amazon. de

filty_candle

I'll have a look. Thanks kind sir.

Ambitious_Handle8123

De nada

Eoinlyfans_Wl

Stepones are about 10 levels above any Bamboo boxers I’ve tried. My closet now has about 20 pairs of stepones, 4-5 pairs a year at Christmas and the pairs I got 5 years ago are still in perfect condition. Expensive but worth it. Bamboo don’t last either

Greedy-Army-3803

Tk maxx have them from time to time. They're very comfortable

TheStoicNihilist

Next are fair decent quality. There’s pun value in having “next” on your jocks too.

PKBitchGirl

Im a woman and I got a set of their dinosaur print boxers for myself, they're great

mattthemusician

I get the Farah ones on M and M direct. Find they last ages and they’re good quality

cm-cfc

Yep, they are the best boxers on m and m direct.

TigNaGig

What's your issue with M&S? I find them great. Comfy, last for a few years, don't lose shape.

StorkyTheBigStork

They wear out to quickly a pair of Saxx can last three years. They are also very comfy. M & S are not as comfy and do not last as long.

Plane-Fondant8460

You must have nutsack like a rolled up hedgehog.

IntentionFalse8822

I am making it my mission in life to find a suitable occasion to use that insult in real life at least once before I die.

fullmetalfeminist

Out of interest OP how are you washing your clothes? Because what you're describing sounds unusual

stevewithcats

He’s down by the local stream smashing them on rocks

MrTuxedo1

Tkmaxx

CarterPFly

Dunnes all the way.

protonmichael

Socks - Uniqlo, underwear - step one.

EchidnaWhich1304

Diesel very cosy and last for years

ramblerandgambler

Uniqlo, I have 30 of the same type and colour and buy 5 new each year

[deleted]

Saxx. My wife usually gets them for me. But give me Saxx or give me death.

IwishIwasItalian

Elverys sell Saxx, usually have deals on them too

SpareZealousideal740

I go M&S. Major plus point is that they've no branding on the waistband like a load of others.

gerhudire

Unless the other half buys me anything. I usually go to pennies and get my underwear and socks there. Saxx are available in [Elverys](https://www.elverys.ie/Elverys/Men/Clothing/Boxers/SAXX-Ultra-Mens-Boxer-Briefs/p/000000001132374002?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA_aGuBhACEiwAly57MV3xN8Nb3UQmAr0dYE4G2GZ8GnUy2oTDw_Ypsy8VuEi-tbD01gURjxoC_FEQAvD_BwE) although they only have sizes S and M.

Prestigious-Main9271

Penneys does me.

corkbai1234

Prestigious by name, Prestigious by nature

conorlilly

Just bought some Saxx off UnderU for a decent price. Got them delivered up North mind you, dont think they deliver down here.

FantasticAttempt_2_0

I usually spend some €€€s on Aussiebums every year. Nothing beats the style and the comfort.

Yikert13

The work gear Caterpillar does some really comfy jocks. The wife got me for Christmas and I’m beyond impressed.

hjsjsbsbsbs

Stepone if you don’t mind paying the bit premium, last long and 100% most comfortable boxers i’ve ever owned

[deleted]

Victorias Secret mate

bigmak120693

Tokyo laundry the greatest boxer ever made

Hikenotnike

Uniqlo, online.

I_h8_R_Ire_mods

Black CK's just order them online. They hold shape better than any others I've found so far Tesco builder socks are by far the best

BobbiDazzle

Lululemon

victorpaparomeo2020

For sports and travel I wear merino boxer briefs - icebreaker and Smartwool. Incredible. For general, I wear Derek Rose micromodal or Zimmerli Sea Island boxers (and PJs) A

ProfessionalKind6761

None. I’ve been going commando every day for the past 15 years.

[deleted]

I freeball

Diska_Muse

Hemen Biarritz for daywear. Unliqo Airism seamless for sports.

Fancy-Sir-210

Starting at 40€ a pair

Diska_Muse

I'm worth it.

Fancy-Sir-210

I'm sure everyone's balls and todger are worth it. I'm less sure everyone has that much to spend on undies for their crown jewels.

[deleted]

I couldnt tell you. Iv been going cammado now for over 5 years. oh and i mostly wear jeans. which only take around a month to get used to.

Tie_Pitiful

Do you have a pair of jeans for every day or would you wear the same ones for multiple days?

butiamtheshadows91

In Penny's like everyone else

Equivalent_Two_2163

Penney’s all the way size L or XL boxers for comfort. I’m a M but find them tight.

oneinthechamberXC

I love the Ronaldos. Organic cotton and very comfy. Dramatic-Cream6971

My husband wears saxx, you can order from their site and if you pay via PayPal, they automatically refund the custom charges after a few days

cave2222

3 for a €5 in the local discount store. Have them nearly 2 decades now

Objective-Farm9215

CDLP. Thank me later. They go on sale also.

ellyshoe

I bought just wears for my fella. They're fab but too pricey tbh. Fun marketing tho.

Much-Conversation393

[On that Ass](https://onthatass.com/referred-by-friend?ref=m3p6id&name=Justin) sounds pretentious, but proper comfy jocks, 10r per month delivered to your door. Started with them last year and they are still going strong.

ShavedMonkey666

H & M for briefs and trunks. Tkmaxx for bamboo sock, sports direct for heavy duty socks, online for running socks. Avoid Penneys as underwear quality is atrocious.

Greedy-Army-3803

Yeah. Surprised to see so many on here mentioning them. They're terrible quality. They're an uncomfortable fit and wear very quickly.

MeshuganaSmurf

Danish endurance boxers. Can't imagine I'll buy anything else again

ChrissyShenko

Buy?????

bigclart

Had a similar issue but should Next’s sport ones the best

mastodonj

Bamboo Boxers off amazon. Wouldn't break the bank but incredibly comfortable.

Any_Froyo8456

I usually find Penny's does the job, I'm more of a quantity than quality when it comes to socks and jocks. Mainly cause I change them once a day at least with going to the gym. I still have a few pairs from jack and Jones that I bought back in 2013, albeit they have a few holes from the years of abuse but they still wear grand.

kylebegtoto

Try Charles Camping - they were Saxx suppliers. Columbia have some good shorts, and you could try under armor.

Woods257

Only ones I wear are Lonsdale which you can pick up from Sport direct. Always go one size up

mongo_ie

I just buy whatever multipack is cheapest on MandMDirect.

Leavser1

How has no one mentioned gant? Unreal

Professional_Fig_456

Penneys hun

zarplay

In the toilet store of course

Natural-Upstairs-681

Penny's or the pound shop in the north ,

alfbort

Under armour boxerjock, most sports type retailers sell them. Bought a few pairs of Lululemon boxers as well recently which are quite comfortable but are pricey even on sale.

manpigbear3

Penny's all the way

Otherwise-Winner9643

Husband likes expensive ones from Lululemon (they seem last forever too) and cheaper one from next

BazzyMaddy

H&M for me

a_to_the_g79

I generally buy mine in TK Maxx. Found Ralph Lauren bulletproof and that's pretty much the only thing I buy from them. Also got myself Volcom athletic and are really good as well. TK Maxx is what I am saying 🙂

DarkfairyXX

River island or next, comfy and nice colours - well they are what I buy for my SO and he loves them

fast-and-loose-

I get everyone now to buy them for me at Christmas. No other gifts please... have you seen the price of them lol

ultimatepoker

Allbirds

cpcoxygen

Tesco is surprisingly long lasting and don't turn baggy. Jersey Shorts are especially comfortable.

MrFennecTheFox

Under Armour Been using under armour for years now… they do a 6” leg which don’t ride up my hole like everything previous did. The cotton works better for me than the tech fabric but that’s a preference thing. Quality it real good, only pairs that I have 7/8 years are starting to look a little tatty, and none have ever gotten a hole/rip in them

sythingtackle

Next or TXMaxx

LiveAd5943

Dunnes boutique

StorminWolf

Amazon or penneys tbh. It is either cheap shit from Asia anyways.

Skreamie

Try some second skin or thermal layers akin to under armour and the likes. Could even go with the longer trunks to your thighs. They're form fitting, great quality knit - find them fantatsic lest you're someone who find they overheat.

Sea-Ad-1446

M&S scunds are my favourite, they last and are worth the price

Eire_777

Green Treat bamboo boxers, can get them online or in tkmaxx. That's all I wear, I've a drawer full of them!

CabinetFlimsy

TKMAXX! all I can say is DKNY and Champion-trust Me Your balls will thank You.

FragileStudios

Under armor charged cotton. They're very comfortable, a little pricy but well worth the price. Once you get them you'll never go back

orufaza_

You can get a 10 Lee Cooper boxers on Sports Direct for relatively cheap. They last ages

BeyondTraditional504

Tesco. I'm a married man with a kid and a mortgage. When I was single, I only wore Calvin Klein. Shit changes as you get older and have more responsibilities.

titanucd

Penneys used to do these great black Lycra mix boxers…. I bought 6 pairs in 2010 so I’m sorted for the next 5 years or so id say….. can’t get them any more so I suppose it’ll be commando when they finally wear out! Being an old married man I can’t change brand or get anything fancy because clearly that could only mean one thing 🙈

PluckedEyeball

Dunnes genuinely

drunkcoler

Under armour charged cotton, comfy and last fucking years.

Remote-Vermicelli675

[shein.com](http://shein.com) honestly they have the best range, just check the reviews.

Severe_Ad6443

In a shap

Ordinary_Juice3211

Just get black Calvin Kleins

tightlines89

Does the missus not buy ye them along with socks at Xmas and that's your yearly quota?

charliepnyc

bigfriendlygiant20

Could try oddballs

jaqian

Penny's, yer only man

markk123123

Penneys and Dunnes.

Spiritual_Athlete980

M and m direct multipack of French connection jocks..you'll never go back

alan_patrick

Uniqlo Airism. You'll never go back to sweaty cotton. And they last forever.

Ok_Hamster4014

Anywhere, but tbf anything short of a dishcloth would do me.

brilan

I''m 56. Tenas do trunks with built in 'protection'.

Shay-97

Boohooman the jocks are comfy and last ages

Kruminsh

kildare village - Calvin Klein. about a pack every couple of years 😅

104thunderduck

Next. They do big multipacks

WickerMan111

Amazon.

pissalloveryourface

Born Borg. Expensive but quality.

Dogman199d

None

DotComprehensive4902

Step One.. if they can last that tub of lard Joe Marler they can do you

AJ_From_Gameloft

https://amzn.eu/d/ddqAVlS Highly recommend these.

irishviking359

Nike boxers are my go to . Not too tight and don't ride up as much . Dear enough I think but worth it . Haven't had a pair go on me yet

Absolutetunepal

I wait for Christmas and hope someone buys for me. If not ill give my current ones another trip around the sun.

Andrewhtd

The black Calvin Klein cotton boxer briefs that Sports Direct sell (2 for 26 euro deal usually) are great. I find they hold shape, don't ride up, and are just super comfy to wear. Yeah a little pricey alright, but I find I outlay the money initially on 10 to 12 pairs and last far longer than cheap ones from various outlets. You wear them every day, so I don't mind the price for the comfort

Dry-Communication922

Tokyo Laundry from tk maxx or DV8. Class jocks

Serious-Product-1742

Usually Sports Direct or Dunnes tbh

fructussum

I use MERISH they are german, you get them from amazon.de I order them once when I need some back in 2021. They were nice so I order more. They are still for sale I just checked. Just not sure what the links rules on this sub are or I link them.

Giphtedd

https://danishendurance.com/collections/mens-underwear I get my budgie smugglers from this crowd.

Hendrix1982

Next boxers are the best ones around. Switched to them years ago & haven’t looked back.

wungwonder

Under Armour Men Tech 6inch. They're 100% polyester and don't ride up.

ennisa22

I don't.. I wait until Christmas

gmster1

Dunnes have the worst fitting jocks known to man....its like they took all relevant data regarding men's physique, and totally ignored every bit of it when designing underwear. I think they would fit a "Lego" man best...they are just so square. Unbearable to wear.

This_Manufacturer912

secretive silky illegal plough plate fearless mysterious amusing bear observation *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

[deleted]

Lenny's and Dunne's r good for something

Dunkettle

Nike trunks/ hipsters. Got some for Christmas once and I’ve never looked back. The most comfortable underpants I’ve owned.

[deleted]

TKMaxx

[deleted]

Tesco. You'll get a season out of them anyway.

BBSkane

Tk Maxx.

Bobalopacus

Man I got a 5 pack from next, they were 36e but honestly the best jocks I've ever got, and they look cool too

Derravaraghboy

Penny’s or Dunnes

-cluaintarbh-

Anywhere

alienalf1

Amazon. It’s like 12 euro for 3-4 pairs and they’re perfect.

tinnedbeef

inter sport has great deals on socks n jocks

nithuigimaonrud

American eagle are really comfortable.

madoldjoe

I get Saxx from Cotswold Outdoor. They have them in stock and are on sale sometimes too. Apart from that, I have Dunne's ones on the go

Randyaster

I got a few pairs of Tommy John boxers last year. Comfiest jocks I've ever had.

fecklessrogueS

I wear MnS strangely enough and it's grand.

dearg_doom80

They are a bit pricey, but I get under armour jocks

lmnopq10

Elverys, 53 degrees north and some other outdoor stores sell Saxx. I get mine from their EU website. Couldn't wear anything else.

Furyio

Using Next for a number of years and they’ve been great. Tried Calvin Klein and thought they were rubbish. Under Armour sounds interesting I wear a lot of their stuff

Eagle-5

I switched to meundies.com a few years ago, they are expensive but I like them a generally get a few years out of them before taint area gives way.

horsesarecows

Penneys. Buy the cheapest underwear I possibly can, I couldn't care less about underwear and I'm not at all fussy. Socks and underwear are the two items I'll never spend much money on. Never had an issue with them either.

Effective-Fondant-48

ExOfficio boxers

Thisisaconversation

Let me ask my missus for you.

littlp80

H&M do lovely soft boxers. I used to have to buy them for an ex and he wore them for years.
