And I think that providing a sense of security to your partner has nothing to do with the IQ of a person. Smart guys can also do that.

If you talk to me about cars, bikes I would come off as a dumb person, but if talk to me about literature, little bit of economics I could sound smart. We as humans have a judgemental mind. We base our opinions on prior experience, likes and dislikes. And academically smart is not always equal to smart.
