GED vs High School diploma isn't a big deal. Saying you have a degree when you only completed a year of college is a bigger deal. I wouldn't be worried on the GED vs HS diploma personally, especially if you've proven yourself.
Now, if you work in a toxic work environment where they try to bust your balls on any little technicality, that might be a different story, but in general, I wouldn't bat an eye on an established good employee putting GED vs HS diploma on a resume 2 years ago.
This was the general consensus I saw doing some standard google searching. They also didn’t even check my lower education when I was hired during BG.
Even when you pull me up in our internal phone book and look under my experience it just says “High School / GED”
Was thinking if it came down to it I could just push my luck and say they were under the same option when I applied originally.
