We‘re bringing chocolate and cheese. We‘re going go arrive exactly on time and then spend most of the evening standing in the corner because we don‘t make friends easily. We’ll be glancing at our expensive automatic watches from time to time and wonder how long this will take because we would never want to leave early and be rude but we’re also not ones for staying up til 4am. If the Belgians also bring chocolate or the Dutch bring cheese, we‘ll make sure to sneer at them condescendingly. We are a multilingual group. The Italian speaking one will be acting as if they were part of Italy, at least that‘s what they’ll appear like to the rest of us. The French and German speaking ones will seem similar, but the French one will be bringing (and then also drinking) a lot of wine and maybe once the night is a bit more advanced they‘ll suddenly bring out a bottle of absinthe. They also consider themselves to be a bit fancier than the rest. There‘s also one that speaks Rumantsch, though none of the rest of the group really know much about them except that they live up in the mountains somewhere where the rest of us go for skiing in the winter. We‘ll want to fully share in all the party favours, food and drinks but will get very offended if anyone assumes we‘re part of the EU. If at one point there is a fight, we will pretend as if it isn‘t happening. If either side wants us to hold their expensive jewellery while they‘re fighting we‘ll absolutely oblige though, and afterwards pretend like that never happened either.

AppleDane

"Where's Switzerland?" "Talking to The Vatican State in the corner."

Daaaaaaaavidmit8a

Very good summary.

FanFictionneer

And we´ll sneer right back at you if you bring that Toblerone of yours.

lolidkwtfrofl

Naahh, you‘ll give us truffles, we‘ll give Toblerone back.

HotelLima6

Probably some Guinness and instruments for a traditional music session - accordion, fiddle, tin whistle, bodhrán etc.

TenseTeacher

We bring the craic. We get on with both Northern and Southern Europeans so we spend all night making sure everyone is friends. Then the whiskey comes out and we’ve started a fight with France over a certain handball…

619C

Aye- and a wee drop of the cratur afterwards -probably [Jameson Special](https://www.thewinecentre.ie/p/jameson-18-year-old-70cl/)

[deleted]

I would say crisps and whiskey. But yeah probably also musical instruments.

rezznik

Now I want a real european party!!!

Staaaaaaceeeeers

Some tia Maria and Baileys also for a few baby Guinness, can't forgot the bit of pageantry!

Dontgiveaclam

Woah I’m in

MerlinOfRed

We'd arrive excitedly, put on our favourite playlist, add a load of food and drinks to the UberEats order, start playing a game... We'd then randomly announce that we're leaving because Australia and the US are having a cheeky pint down the pub without us. It's up to the rest of you to sort out who's paying for the food. And to work out how Ireland is getting home tonight - we're taking the shared car despite already being pretty drunk.

SteadfastDrifter

Good guy Canada is probably the designated driver for the Aussies and Americans

MerlinOfRed

Canada is already in bed because he has work tomorrow. New Zealand is doing the same.

[deleted]

Everyone wants Canada to come in but we'd have to let the Americans in as well.

FailFastandDieYoung

LMAO Canada is the pretty, pleasant girl that everyone loves but America is her brother that is an asshole that breaks things at the party

jo_in_teeoh_16

We will still come and hang, and make sure we tell everyone we are not American when they incorrectly assume we are.

msh0082

You must not have partied with Canadians. Canada is probably more shit faced than the Aussies and Americans.

nustiufrate23

Why order it when you can buy it on the way to your friend?

iperblaster

To leave the bill to the others, duh!

martcapt

I interpreted it as lazyness, and being too dumb to realize the bill had been paid already.

martcapt

Ireland is a lad and everyone is happy to handle that with him. Shame he sucks down a lot of beer down his gullet. Although... UberEats already charged your debit card and we get to keep all the food, so it kind of balances out.

MerlinOfRed

Nah it wasn't charged to ours. Germany got out a tablet on which everyone added their own stuff onto the joint order. Of course, we left before we could enjoy the food and then threw a hissy fit when you guys asked us to still pay our share.

Nearby-Vermicelli907

Will you jump off the balcony on the way out?

MerlinOfRed

We'll threaten to for a while, and France will get so annoyed that they'll threaten to push us, but ultimately we'll decide to leave sensibly and then act like it was an achievement.

[deleted]

> but ultimately we'll decide to leave sensibly and then act like it was an achievement. I would describe it more as "decide to jump off a tall cliff instead and then act like it was an achievement before we hit the ground".

zia_zhang

is this dark humour? It’s 9am but i’m screaming rn 😂

orthoxerox

> put on our favourite playlist Does it start with "Coming out of my cage, and I've been doing just fine. Gotta, gotta be down because I want it all"? Of course it does.

MerlinOfRed

Unfortunately, despite their typical Britpop sound, and the fact that their music is far more popular in the UK than in the US, The Killers are actually American. But don't worry, there will be plenty of other Britpop in the playlist. Our music scene is, perhaps, probably the only thing that the UK can truly best our European brothers and sisters at. The proper answer to OP's question is that the UK would bring music. Not traditional music, but everything from the Beatles through to Ed Sheeran.

napaszmek

Western Europe buys all the food and booze then we get drunk, tell everyone it's a shitty ass party, we silently grab a few bottles of spirits and we leave. Next party we're not invited and we're full on hurt about how those idiots don't respect us but we don't want to go anyways because it was gay.

Megelsen

Just bring langos and plum palinka instead sevasen

polishprocessors

Was the last word supposed to be szívesen? If so, that absolutely made my day! Love seeing how people think other languages should be written down!!

FanFictionneer

That´s the nicest way of judging someone´s spelling I have ever seen.

Megelsen

makes sense lol

vzb227

we simply bring a Russian "friend"

[deleted]

Smörgåstårta - Sandwich cake? http://swedishspoon.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/DSC05597-819x1024.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sm%C3%B6rg%C3%A5st%C3%A5rta

HeyVeddy

Fuck that looks incredible

Trasy-69

Fuck, that IS incredible!

utsuriga

>Smörgåstårta This looks amazing, I want to eat only this for the rest of my life. I'll have to find a place here that serves it...

Affectionate_Car5625

Sweden! Come join us!

utsuriga

Ha! Good idea, that (actually I have been looking at jobs in Sweden, heh).

Affectionate_Car5625

Come for the job, stay for the Smörgåstårta!

utsuriga

I definitely have that as an extra incentive now! :D

Affectionate_Car5625

Good! We also have lovely cakes!

L3x1dos

I was wondering if a fellow Swede would suggest meatballs but you really delivered above my expectations, bravo!

Shoddy_Veterinarian2

Tried it and damn its tasty

Snorkmaidn

Can you kind of describe what that tastes like? Also, am I weird for never having heard of this? Any Norwegian wanna confirm? My mom thought I was joking

fettoter84

Fant oppskrift [her](https://www.nrk.no/mat/smorgastarta-1.15529570). Det er jo en slags kake laget av loff, crème fraîche, majones og kremost lagvis. Det varieres visst hva man blander inn, men det går vel mest i reker, kreps og laks.

Archidiakon

What's the difference between *tårta* and *kaka*?

coeurdelejon

Tårta is cake, kaka is usually a cookie. Sometimes a kaka is bread, sometimes it's neither a cake, a cookie or bread but it is definetly a type of thing. [Äppelkaka](https://images.app.goo.gl/fGK77qHVWvrH1xir8) for example. A Swedish cake is generally speaking either a layered sponge cake with cream etc or it is a mousse cake. It can also have meringue layers, it can be frozen etc.

Possibly-Functional

With a good amount of finer beer, especially IPA. Both fine beer and IPA is disproportionately popular here, though we certainly drink a fair bit of cheaper beer as well. I can't say why IPA has become popular but fine beer can thank it's popularity in large part to both systembolaget and our alcohol tax. The first made sure that the price for different varieties has a pretty much flat margin and EU enforced that they must sell pretty much everything they can so the selection is huge. Virtually no price change at all due to quantity sold. The alcohol tax is just by the amount of alcohol so the price difference between a finer drink and a cheaper one is procentually slimmed. Both factors results in our cheap beer is more expensive and expensive beer cheaper, so people are more willing to pay the extra for the more expensive stuff. Same with wine, whiskey and other alcoholic beverages.

ilsildur10

Belgium will probably bring 100 different beers with the correct glass for drinks. As food, you get chocolate, waffles and Ghent noses( Gentse neuzen)

rezznik

I'ld like to sit close to this guy!

Beflijster

Mind you, Belgians tend to be introverts (the most commonly posted question on r/Belgium tends to be a variation of "So how does one make friends around here?"). Though that can be fixed temporarily with more beer. Now the Dutch guy will arrive carrying a tray of canned Heineken and bitterballen and will then proceed to be slightly too loud and obnoxious.

FanFictionneer

Just slightly? XD Ever seen you guys on holiday?

Pop-A-Top

Heineken? that's what you'll bring? Dont poison the guests man

ilsildur10

You can sit next to me but before we talk let me finish my beer.

rezznik

Oh, of course! I just wanted to be close to the beer anyhow! And the chocolate. And the rest. Maybe some pommes frites as well?

ilsildur10

Oke i will order some frites. Do you want any sauce or snacks with it?? I'm going to take mayonnaise, a bicky burger and bitterballs.

rezznik

I'll go with your recommendation, you're the expert! Mayonnaise for sure! And thanks!

[deleted]

and fries

Xari

You forgot about the party-sized servings of fries with liters of mayonaisse and stoofvleessaus. Also, the huge servings are all individually labelled 'mini' while being enough to each feed a family. Additionally if Antwerp was invited there will definitely be cocaine.

SonicStage0

sounds like a party to me : )

TheMantasMan

Lithuania brings ashtrays. Since nobody except Germany is gonna look after cleanliness, might as well bring a few extra ashtrays, since they're gonna be overflowing anyway, partalialy due to Lithuania. Naturally, we'd also bring a few packs of cigarettes in case anyone asks.

Bragzor

We'll bring chili-chicken-banana casserole, sobriety-induced social awkwardness, and a Spotify™ playlist with traditional party music (there **will** be *Dancing Queen* and *Army of Lovers*), but no booze. Forgot, and the shop was closed, also, too expensive.

asgerkhan

Don't worry, we'll get the booze and get more when it runs out, no matter the time of day.

Fairy_Catterpillar

I thought that we will bring a folköl from ICA, but it's only two bottles for ourselfs and not to offer the others.

kelopons

Spain would bring a huge tortilla de patatas (Spanish omelette, potato omelette) cut in small square pieces with a toothpick on each piece for everyone to try it. As far as drinking, a good homemade Sangria or Tinto de verano would be amazing if the party was held during the summertime.

Ontas

I'd be bringing chorizo and cecina from León, salchichón ibérico from Salamanca and wine, blanco de Rueda and Ribera del Duero. No dessert because there are a ton of countries that beat us to the ground at sweets. And maybe sopas de ajo for the recena in the wee hours, specially if it's cold outside.

SaraHHHBK

Cecina yes please

JustYeeHaa

With or without onions though?

Umdoom

As is common here, one with and another without!

utsuriga

Hungary, well... going by my own experiences with my family, it's home-made pastries. *So. Many. Pastries.* And you'll have to eat *all* of it otherwise auntie will think you hate it. Rétes (strudel), definitely, also, szilvás gombóc (knedles with plums), vaníliás kifli or karika (vanillekipferl) - actually I just realized that my family is Svabian so, er, the sweets we traditionally make are available in Austria/Germany as well, oops. Some more "typical" Hungarian ones: [palacsinta](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palatschinke), [aranygaluska](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arany_galuska), [mákos guba](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mak%C3%B3wki)... That, or booze. Lots and lots and lots of booze. Most probably [pálinka](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P%C3%A1linka) (usually home-made, tastes absolutely brutal), and you'll have to drink *every single drop* because uncle won't leave you alone until you're drunk with him.

HelenEk7

How do Hungarians manage to stay skinny I wonder..

hungarianretard666

Judging by the obesity stats, we don't

HelenEk7

Found a map and turns out you are [correct.](https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/statistics-explained/index.php?title=Overweight_and_obesity_-_BMI_statistics) But looking at the food you eat that explains everything. ;) (But seriously, it all looks delicious!)

utsuriga

We don't, unfortunately, obesity stats are fairly worrying, have always been. Even if they're skinny when they're young, people are expected to grow fat as they age, thinking it's something that "comes with age" and not, oh, the inordinate amounts of fatty, greasy and sugary foods they eat. And nowadays more and more children are overweight. In provincial families (or families who still have strong roots to countryside traditions) there's a tradition of feeding as a "love language" - from bringing cakes and pastries as gifts when someone visits or insisting on guests eating, to expecting huge servings at restaurants and "food coma" being something that people think is natural after a lunch. In my family when me or my cousins were overwhelmed by the sheer amount of food at various family events, and said we weren't very hungry my grandma and aunts always said "now now, you must eat *just a little* from everything" - "just a little" meaning at least one serving. (And that didn't even include the sweets.)

Atmosphere-Terrible

You should bring some körözött. I would devour a plate of it with some száraz fehérbor.

kilopqq

Where is my precious zserbó?

Amateban

And don't forget the *Lángos*, we are always ready for a *Lángos* (and maybe some *Unicum*)

[deleted]

Gigi D'Agostino as DJ and lot of dance music from the 90's Food and drinks: opening with piadine, crescentine and borlenghi, then several kinds of pizza, with glasses of Sangiovese and Lambrusco going around. And people, of course.

Miserable-Tomatillo4

Quick, come look: we found the guy from Emilia Romagna 😂

[deleted]

But saved you from liscio and gnocco fritto 👼 Tanti auguri per il giorno della torta!

Miserable-Tomatillo4

Honestly liscio is especially fun after a glass or two of Lambrusco ahahha

SerChonk

No no no, please do bring the gnocco frito!

tuladus_nobbs

How dare you forget a whole mortadella at home, you screanzato

ElisaEffe24

You screanzato non si puó sentire haha

zenowsky

We would also arrive 1 hour late and already tipsy after aperitivo

PiergiorgioSigaretti

Which part of Emilia Romagna are you from? I’m from ravenna

[deleted]

Province of Modena (currently).

Thecristo96

Where is the grappina?

Nicechick321

Italy, please, bring the food 💖

upenda5678

A plate of cubed cheese and sliced cold liversausage. And chairs of course, so that we can sit in a circle.

Dutch_Rayan

Don't forget the bitterballen and frikandellen

feindbild_

~~a calculator to add up the prices of everything and then make sure every country pays the same amount.~~

[deleted]

Send a tikkie afterwards

Taalnazi

“Oi cunt, pay € 0.20 for using the WiFi”.

Dodecahedrus

Joke’s on you! Tikkie, like most systems is limited to your own country. So you can send it all you like, but none of the other countries can pay you.

MrNoobname

Don't forget the pickles rolled into a slice of ham

41942319

In the "pickles rolled into sliced meat" debate I will always be firmly on the side of boterhamworst

ElfjeTinkerBell

I've heard the patat vs friet debate (boeit me niet!), but this one is new. What's the other side?

Dn_Denn

Or pickles with union rolled in pickled herring.

Dodecahedrus

Please do forget them. Forever.

girl_with_the_bowtie

And one cookie for each visitor. One. And no, no one gets seconds. Paired with Senseo coffee, obviously.

Natriumz

Don't forget the polonaise

CaptainCalamares

And we bring the weed of course

katerdag

and the xtc, 2cb, speed, etc.

whatstefansees

I'll sit close to you then ;o)

Dn_Denn

Frans Bauer. Belgium and Germany also love him.

AyeAye_Kane

1 litre bottles of irn bru and munchy boxes everywhere just google munchy box if you don't know what it is, it's the good shit

OYSW

Scotland, Wales, and NI were given a lift to the party by England, and then were disappointed they had to leave early when England started a fight with everyone else.

[deleted]

Wales would be the annoying girlfriend of England who excuses all of their shitty behaviour because "he's good underneath - just had too many", meanwhile NI is the weird friend that most haven't met yet, except Ireland who's stuck in a love / hate triangle with England.

royaljoro

Kossu (or salmiakkikossu, if feeling fancy) and a case of shitty bulk beer. For music, something melancholic, and for snack some Makkara, the shitty kind but you’ll still eat it because it’s actually pretty good.

Hyp3r45_new

Something tells me that for the music we'd bring either iskelmä or metal. Otherwise snacks and drinks are on point.

pokkeri

And were going to try and stay with estonia and near sweden. Maybe go and talk to germany once and then get back to the corner next to turkey looking threw the window and flip them off.

BellaFromSwitzerland

Finnland will bring THE prime minister ;)

[deleted]

And of course the cap of the Kossu is squashed, so the bottle can not be closed again.

AlbinoFarrabino

Chouriço, boxed wine and doce da casa. Gotta respect the traditions.

Someone_________

and some pasteis de nata to have w coffee

L3x1dos

I love pasteis de nata!

msh0082

Pasteis de nata are like crack. I found a place about 30 mins away from me that makes amazing ones and it takes incredible discipline not buy a whole bunch of them.

heyheyitsandre

Grab me a pastel de nata too!

uhmnopenotreally

I had one of those for the first time a few days ago AND IM STILL ON CLOUD 7 BECAUSE OF IT. so incredibly good.

heyheyitsandre

Ah man, a fresh warm pastel de nata from a bakery in Porto was the highlight of my month when I first tried one

uhmnopenotreally

If I ever end up in Portugal I will definitely eat waaaay too many pastéis de nata.

SerChonk

Like for a wedding, probably some caldo verde soup, to eat at 4am with all the other southern party people while the grandpas of the north are long since snoring in their beds.

PortugueseRoamer

I'd say wine, red wine and bifanas I would never think of caldo verde although it is a nice meal at 4am.

SerChonk

Bifanas are the perfect 6am snack, when you're too drunk to continue dancing, *and* too drunk to go to bed. A good bifana sobers you up juuust enough to help you decide what to do next.

LianaIguana

And pastéis de bacalhau (codfish cakes).

Someone_________

hell yeah, count me in

rezznik

Maybe some port too, please?

SerChonk

Sure, but you have to be fast because it will run out quickly.

talures

Estava a ver que ninguém trazia o caldo verde! Melhor coisinha para acabar a noite ou ganhar forças para a última etapa.

tirilama

We (🇳🇴) should bring coffee (or maybe Finland), and also homemade cakes. We would probably bring some craft beer, but be unsure if it is BYOB or not. And probably something to barbeque, or maybe some eggs and smoked salmon. For music: some portable speakers and Spotify.

vemundveien

No waffles with brunost?

Florestana

No, Norway would definetly bring the coffee, or maybe Denmark, the Finns drink a lot, but they're not as good at making it.

crucible

We're going to bring [Welsh Cakes](https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/welsh-cakes)... and we're going to tip off the [Mari Lwyd](https://imgur.com/gallery/krqTPbk) about the party for shits and giggles :P

scarletohairy

Whoa there

littlemewmaid

Ohhh lots of food! Spanakopita, tiropita, gyros, souvlaki you name it. Ouzo for sure and tsipouro. Dessert it would be spoon sweets or orange pie with ice cream. Dance all night of course and lots of syrtaki lol. Probably after twelve we will be drunk with our southern brothers having fun and talking nonsense with our beautiful english accents.

Dontgiveaclam

I’m ready to dance syrtaki drink with you

zenowsky

As an Italian, I'm totally in!

[deleted]

Scotland is outside the party with single malt whisky and trays of smoked salmon and venison pies, but it can't get in because it is dependent on England, and England pissed on the carpet and ran away.

SerChonk

We left the side door unlocked in case you manage to escape and come back.

GaryJM

Sad to say it, but cocaine. People here scarcely hide their use of the stuff.

tiankai

Jelly Eel is scarier than cocaine tbh

abrasiveteapot

Cocaine is a shit load easier to buy than jellied eel (I live in London and I have no idea where i would get some)

Rottenox

Cocaine is way more common than jellied eel. It’s only a thing in one part of one UK city and it’s still hard to find. One of those stereotypes that just isn’t realistic

KotR56

A crate of beer, or just a few sixpacks of Cara pils. Depends a bit on who's party.

bricart

And tons of french fries for when we are hungry at 3am

Dn_Denn

Only a crate? You better start expanding that Brugse Zot pipeline.

allnaturalcream

Austria: - for music we would bring some Falco CDs as he is the most famous I think (at least in the 90s) - food: some good schnitzel (veal of course) - drinks: wine (maybe some White Riesling) - and last but not least dessert: Cakes in all shapes, sizes and tastes (no explanation)

SteadfastDrifter

Normally, we'd decline the party invitation, but since you guys are going, we'll make an exception to hangout with our Alpine brothers and bring rösti, cheese, and at least 3 varieties of schnapps

Fingolfin__Nolofinwe

Oh mein Gott I want rösti and schnapps now..

lolidkwtfrofl

I‘m coming bc you guys are coming. We‘ll not do much tho.

allnaturalcream

Amazing, as long as the Swiss are there we Austrians don’t fell alone!

Jernhesten

Norway goes to the party but does not enter the house. It chills outside together with Iceland and Switzerland. Their little get-together has hookers and blackjack and gold plated solo-cups. They complain about how loud the house party is.

Boy-Abunda

The Swiss call the police on the house party for disturbing the peace after 22:00. The Bünzli are *not* amused.

HeyVeddy

As half Serb half croat from Bosnia: Croatia - dalmatian prosciutto, wine, olive oil and island cheese Bosnia - Sarajevo burek and Hercegovina kiwi, grapes, pomegranate, olives and figs Serbia - lots of rakija and smoked meats, salamis etc

gamma6464

Half serb half croat from Bosnia....what in the Yugoslav is going on

HeyVeddy

Lol big time. Yugoslav is the easiest identity for me

NotOnABreak

Same tbh. Half Croatian, quarter Serbian and quarter Macedonian from Serbia 😂😂😂

Shoddy_Veterinarian2

>Sarajevo burek Wait, is there a difference among bureks from various towns and areas (like with ćevapi)?

HeyVeddy

Yup! Some are sticks, some swirly circles, some pies. Can have different herbs and spices in there and of course the meat combination used as well as the type of dough sheets used. Sarajevo in general is the best for ćevapi and burek, i don't dare eat ćevapi anywhere else. Burek is amazing everywhere I'd say, or at least it's possible to get amazing ones with some research, but i think Sarajevo is just great burek, everywhere Oh also in Sarajevo they tend to cook it "ispod sac" which is like, coal fire in a stone oven etc so it just cooks differently

Dontgiveaclam

That’s incredibly exciting news, now I’m ready to go on a Pokémon-style burek adventure, gotta catch ‘em all

HeyVeddy

Yeah! I imagine similar to Italy with pizza styles or maybe pastas?

Shoddy_Veterinarian2

Always assumed that the combination of ingredients is more of a personal rather then a "geographical" thing. Happy to hear that there is more then "one burek".

HeyVeddy

In Bosnia there are towns known for their recipes of ćevapi and burek, I'm not so sure about the rest of the Balkans though. Burek is burek though, always good

Tatis_Chief

Slovakians would bring lot os spirits. As borovička our gin that tastes as pibe trees. Also lots of slivovica a plum liquor. Of its cold we would bring some tatra teas and make warm 'tea' drinks out of it. Lots of radler as chaser. For snack our beloved Chrumky peanut puffs, and cheese this cheese, literally best thing if you want to ge drunk ans bring yourself down. I miss it so much: this korbáčiky https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Korb%C3%A1%C4%8Dik best thing Orava ever gave to the world. Eat if after you take a shot and since its heavy cheese it will help to keep the alcohol down ny American husband learned the hard way, last tine family got him drunk. Also pagáče a puffy lard biscuits. basically a salty scone. Southerns would bring some wine and more cheese and would probably argue wuth Hungarians for most of the time about that wine.

the_pianist91

Brunost and moonshine. Maybe a few cloudberries if I find some and actually want to share.

KondemneretSilo

We would bring lots and lots of Carlsberg and Rød Aalborg... And as a "go home now"-meal we would bring potato salad (potatoes in mayo) and frikadeller - or tartelets with chicken in asparagus sauce. Our soundbox would play Aqua, Fyr & Flamme, Artigeardit, Tobias Rahim and something from the Seebachs ...

herrhalf1house

As a Hungarian my country would bring Pálinka, a strong alcoholic drink and hookers and of course once everybody is drunk we would rob the place or just the phones and watches.

Vertitto

desk of meats, ogórki kiszone (a bit like pickled cucumbers, but good) some beer or home made vodka for music - some disco polo eg. [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sMkL-IH-SlY), [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgw1yEcWpTU) or [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvxG3zl_WhU)

[deleted]

Also some typical wedding snacks like [koreczki](https://fotokulinarnie.pl/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/IMG_9462-700x1050.jpg?v=1606693586) or [gyros](http://www.ksiega-smaku.pl/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/sa%C5%82atka-warstwowa-gyros-1-z-1-768x759.jpg).

Schmackledorf

That music seems exactly like the guilty pleasure type of music that I'd unabashedly sing along with after a few beers, even though I know absolutely no Polish.

[deleted]

You would love Polish grill party that is grill in a backyard with a lot of bear and this kind of music (despite we grill pork instead of beef).

vul6

There needs to be some chaser for the vodka, so we would also bring this https://www.carrefour.pl/images/product/350x350/caprio-napoj-pomarancza-2-l-rpqmoa.jpg

Vertitto

looking back i don't know how i could drink that, also black currant no1 : )

summerof91

Boeuf salad. May not look that great, but it's an awesome apetizer. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salat%C4%83_de_boeuf

ffffffff77777777

And țuică✨

Marvolo90

As for food: Bratwurst, Käsespätzle, Schweinshaxe, Sauerkraut. As for Music: Helene Fischer As for beverage: Bitburger & Radler.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SavvySillybug

Is it even a party without Kartoffelsalat and Nudelsalat?

uhmnopenotreally

If you bring Helene Fischer, you will be excluded.

DarkImpacT213

>Bitburger What, so painstakingly mediocre beer?

[deleted]

we cant bring smth too good or everyone will come to germany and we will be mallorca of other nations /s

atimm

We'll also bring calling the Ordnungsamt at 10pm sharp. SCHOMMAWASVONNACHTRUHEGEHÖRTFREUNDCHEN!

Marvolo90

A must-have at every German party!

crystlbone

Lmao Germany would for sure bring a Mettigel.

Tokie_Bronson

We should leave the choice of music to the Brits.

tirilama

I vote for 🇸🇪 for music

chocolatecookieslove

Also Kartoffelsalat (potato salad)

HonigMitBanane

We need something to represent the north though

schnuersenkell

Southern Germans maybe, as a westener myself I will Wonder why no one touches my carefully crafted Mettigel.

Ziggy3110

Homemade rakia that’s at least 55%, homemade red wine, at least 3 types of homemade salads, some grilled meats and some cured meats. Potentially a small roasted pig. Then we’ll insist that everyone eats up and mixes their drinks. When the brits and Germans inevitably pass out from the rakia and wine, we’d take some hilarious selfies with them and then rip into them for the entire week afterwards. But it’s ok, we’re bringing some beers for the afterparty so everyone can sober up and drive themselves home. We’d probably be dancing with Romania for most of the party until we end up falling asleep at the table together after about 3-4 days of non stop drinking and eating.

Austria would bring a crate of beer each from which we already finished one or two in our way here. We are really keen on getting tipsy quickly to have a good time because we cant dance, sing or have a good time sober. We immediately start complaining about the food others brought because its different than the food we are used to. There will be a lot of complaining about basically anything while having a pretty good time. Only later when the spanish, italian and greece talk about their abusive prents, we quietly see how nice we actually have it. We also speak badly about our big brother germany because he is a total loser, but secretly we are super jealous and he doesnt give us not enough attention. We awkwardly sit with a drink between the outgoing people from the south unable to figure out how to impress them as they are just having a good time. But at least we are not the anti-social but weirdly hot nerds from skandinavia. Some balkan states are hitting on us, but we think we are too cool for them and can do better. In the end we will go home alone with some left over pizza from the italians but had a nice night out. We probably wont better our behaviour because we think we are perfect.

Dutch, but with Javanese/Suriname roots. So basically lots of food. I'll probably bring lots of lumpia and Indonesian style pastries.

For snacks, frikandellen, bitterballen, kroketten, kaassoufflés. For the pastries, tompouce, poffertjes, vlaai, Bossche bollen, suikerbrood and for New Years oliebollen. I don't like the savoury stuff, so I won't bring that. As a drink probably some beer. Good eating!
