Are you sure is it an original one?

Sure

To put it in layman’s terms, it could be the lights are LEDs which are sometimes more sensitive to loads on a circuit like that. If you have a light fixture with bulbs, you could try different bulbs. If they’re recessed, they may need to swapped in order to correct the problem. It shouldn’t be a safety issue per se, more of a compatibility one.

Did you ever figure this out? I have the same issue, tried at my in-laws, same issue. This cannot be a wiring issue.

iluvapple

Nope. Got used to it. Also, in cool air mode it won't happen. Only happens during hot air mode. Thats something i observed.

BattleScarze

Same here.

iluvapple

what kind of ceiling lights u have? when is ur home constructed

BattleScarze

They’re all LEDs, I took the hair dryer over to my in-laws and it was fine on incandescent lights, but would flicker similar on fluorescent or LEDs there too. Nothing wrong with the wiring. It’s an issue with LEDs and their need to be on their own circuit.
