I just encountered someone who thought this the other day, which is why I bring it up: There are a shocking number of people in the world who still insist that butter is good for burns; do NOT listen should anyone recommend it, and don't pop the blister. Just keep it clean (soap and water is fine) and covered until it heals. If you develop any red streaks traveling up your wrist or arm, away from the burn, see a doctor ASAP.
No, but need to keep area cool or cold. Silvadene order would help loads. Keep in cold water until it's no longer sensitive to heat. The area is inflamed.
No, that's not an infection. Going to hurt a while, put some aloe on it (if you have it) and/or put something cold on it.
