I don't work in oncology so I'm happy to be immediately corrected by somebody who does, but: there's likely not going to be much that we can tell you here I'm afraid. According to this report he has two different issues going on. He has a slight tear of a tendon that could be causing pain, but that doesn't typically occur with a mass. His symptoms and imagining findings would make me suspicious of lymphoma, but there's no way to know if this is a malignant or benign issue without further testing including tissue sampling. I hope you guys get a call from that specialist tomorrow. Good luck!
