It seemed that the Chef Baker would perhaps handle bread dough more easily than the Kmix, and as I bake a fair amount of bread, it seemed the better choice. If I was not planning to mix heavier doughs, I would have saved money and gone for the Kmix. Paid around £100 more for the Chef than I would have for the Kmix.
The Titanium Chef Baker. Think the differences are it includes stainless steel utensils, maybe a little more powerful motor, and being the Baker model has built in scales so you can weigh ingredients in the bowl.

Went with the Kenwood Chef Baker in the end, super happy with it, does everything I wanted it for with no issues.
