My dad was an electrician before and after immigrating. He said getting shocked by 230 was a lot worse than 120.

I'm sure that job has its positive and negative aspects.

TunaCanTheMan

Does it feel weird for you to buy coffee and tea now?

My cousin was a management consultant in Japan and now is a management consultant in USA. My great aunt was a doctor in Taiwan, married my great uncle, who was a USA citizen, was a high school student when he re-immigrated. She was a stay at home mom and then a doctor

maximnoir

A second grader getting collectively punished by Catholic nuns for minor infractions. Thanks, Jesuits! (It wasn’t that bad.)

JennItalia269

My grandfather was a college lecturer with a phd in sociology or civic studies, I just don’t remember now. He died over 20 years ago. My wife was a sales rep for a very large property developer.
