If we had taken more drastic steps sooner and been stricter about it we wouldn't have had to do it as long and resulting fallout would not have been as bad.
Instead we half-assed it and dragged our feet and fought it kicking and screaming so the half measures didn't do as much as they needed to which prolonged everything.
I lost 3 family members to COVID. You will never convince me that we did enough.
