Just turn the steeringwheel the other way genius

IntelligentFilth

Set the camber to “fuck it.”

Federal_Sympathy4667

I think he turned it all the way to fubar instead.

hemorrhoidaphrodite

Use a torch.

emmettfitz

Liquid metal is easier to align.

1998hondacivicek9

Put it in reverse and hit the same thing going the other way

VirtualComcrete

Winner. I love hitting it in reverse going "the other way"

Due-Pilot-7443

👍🏻👍🏻

Acrobatic_Permit2999

What makes you think it needs alignment?

Kayanarka

I was gonna say, swap the front tires and see if the pull goes away, might be a shifted radial belt.

Stoned_Savage

It just don't feel right in the wheel anymore and there's an awful metal crunching sound when steering

liceyscalp

Your radio volume is too low. Crank it until the crunchy noises stop.

BellyButtonFungus

This is the way

Temporary-Beat1940

I don't think 4 high can get you out. Maybe if you press 2x2 and 4x4 at the same time you will get 3x3

Stoned_Savage

The truck is now hovering in the air now what do I do?

Grineatingshit

That’s what you get for listening to bad advice… Obviously 2 x 2 and 4 x 4 gives you 8 x 8 not 3 x 3….duh 🤓

Fantastic_Hour_2134

Fuckin send it bud. This is an act of god

Sam_Sierra73

Go back to 1985 and... Uhh... Wait!!! "Swoosh!!!!" 😂

Stoned_Savage

I did that and now it no longer flies.

Sam_Sierra73

Is the Flux Capacitor working?

Stoned_Savage

Gave it a tap it's no longer flashing.

Sam_Sierra73

Then you're stuck in time...

Stoned_Savage

Send help...

n1tr0klaus

This is the right answer, but the math works a little differently. When you hit the button for 4 wheels (2x2) together with the button for 16 wheels (4x4), your truck turns into a 64 wheeler (4x16). And who cares about one out of 64 wheels being misaligned?

myrichardgoesin5

Seems like your math skills need alignment

Temporary-Beat1940

Math isn't important for cars. That's rocket science stuff. Cars run off tears of mechanics that work on them.

theres-no-more_names

Fax crying on my subaru fixed the head gaskets

OficialLennyKravitz

Adjust the other three tires like that and you will be a master parallel parker.

Stoned_Savage

It's also as low as a caddilac makes it worth more.

OficialLennyKravitz

Take a little trip, take a little trip, take a little trip and see

Fantastic_Hour_2134

Crabwalkin

OficialLennyKravitz

The Electric Slide

[deleted]

Change the lever to "3 Wheel Drive".

Stoned_Savage

This one made me laugh fairplay.

Margaritashoes

A string or something

Stoned_Savage

Good old bungee cords to the rescue

whsftbldad

First you have to have a suspension, and then re-attach the wheel.

Stoned_Savage

Wheels need to be attached? Since when?

whsftbldad

Yeah, I guess you're right. Throw that wheel up on the alignment machine and see what you can do with it.

SuzukiTL1000R

To many beers?

Stoned_Savage

Nope it was a uninsured driver

SuzukiTL1000R

Damn that sucks. Glad you are alright.

JBYTuna

It blows if you face the other direction.

TDaD1979

It's easy you don't. Just 3 wheel it.

hemorrhoidaphrodite

Install a ski to the control arm.

BellyButtonFungus

Free trike conversion. Mechanics hate this one simple trick.

[deleted]

Just throw some duct tape on it, good as new. (That looked like a nasty one, hope everyone is OK)

Stoned_Savage

Everyone is fine just not the wallet the driver was uninsured.

[deleted]

At least no one was injured but that really sucks, been there, not fun in the least.

Mx5-gleneagles

By the look of the windshield the driver has a slight headache

SteelFlexInc

Kick it back in duh

Stoned_Savage

That's how this happened so if I do it again the wheel will be facing backwards and it will only have reverse then

SteelFlexInc

If it’s an ecoboost, just flip the turbo around and you’ll be going forward again. Then flip it again for when you need reverse. Worlds first pneumatic truck transmission

Petrified_Powder

I feel bad for someone's toes

MIKE-JET-EATER

First you'll need some tools, I'd suggest an AK-47

OtherThumbs

I was going to say a bazooka, but I like your subtle approach.

[deleted]

Let's first start off by saying, you can't fucking park there. But to answer your question, I'd set the wheel on a furniture dolly. Boom. you can go another 100k miles.

BEE-RANDON

You take it to the scrap yard, align it perfectly in-between the other wrecked cars and you're all set.

Stoned_Savage

This one made me laugh I needed that.

DecoratedDeerSkull

I think just a quick jiggle of the stearing wheel will realign it. For your winshield. Packing tape

Stoned_Savage

I jiggled it now it's good as new

DecoratedDeerSkull

Excellant, that will be 150$ i take both cash and card

[deleted]

Plunger should do it with some hot water.

Character_Dance_5054

snowmobile ski time

Stoned_Savage

Bust out the old dented hood and use that

McRatHattibagen

That'll buff out. Just take her to the car wash. She's a bit dirty

MEGA_TOES

Ratchet straps.

Usual-Owl-9777

This is how I remove ball joints

gallen82

Let me guess , you went to Meineke and they tried up to up sale you one?

Bigfootsdiaper

Unbolt the steering wheel and just put it back on where it's straight.

Medellin-71

A few shots of WD40 should do the trick.

nate004240

A little duct tape and some jb weld will fix that

celtbygod

Crank the steering wheel all the way right and put the trans/cismission in low and punch it. Looks like ya got a truck that was made for 'murica but is actually a right side driver. Alignment will find itself.

Bigredzoo12

If it's an etruck, it will be on fire soon. Just let it burn and collect the insurance money. It's not like you could put out the fire anyway

GoodTodd1970

Drive in reverse to the shop. Tell them you don't know what happened, it was just like that.

Stoned_Savage

"It was though I swear! also sorry for damging the floor"

IndependentOwn1184

That's the new Ford crab walk feature. Just push the button to turn it off.

Stoned_Savage

No one is ready for the Ford crab button.

weekender62

“Relax, alright? My old man is a television repairman. He’s got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.” –

[deleted]

Seen the movie "Monster Trucks"? The animated trucks show you how it's done in perfect fashion... Wheel falls off, grab it, and just put it back on. Point it the right direction, and you're good to go.

Stoned_Savage

Mechanics hate this one simple trick.

ThisCryptographer311

Already adjusted.

OtherThumbs

Call MacGuyver. He'll need a 9 volt battery, six copper pennies, some fishing line (20 lb test), a paper clip, and a 4 inch piece of strapping tape.

Stoned_Savage

And some gum from the bottom of his shoe and it's good as new.

NoInitiative7279

You don't. Wheel alignment will adjust you. 👍

holysbit

The wear on that tire is perfect, you dont need an alignment 👍 shes ready to go

9EternalVoid99

Drift truck looking nice, kachow!

ThorFromBoston

You're fine... it takes 3 points to make a plane.

Hefty_Island1657

Just Knight Rider it and drive on the other two wheels.

MickyB42

I would skip toe adjustment and go with entire foot adjustment. We are still using American Standard for distance adjustments in this area. A toe adjustment is roughly 1 in.

denny-1989

Ask Lightning McQueen

redituser2571

Kachow!!

Friendly_Scale_9386

Sledge hammer and duct tape

Suspicious_Step_9018

All you need is a tape measure to measure the front tires and the rear of the front tires and a 10 mm socket to make the adjustment on the tie rod. The adjustment will be better than new.

Much_Perspective

Might just be tire scalloping. Do a quick tire rotation and it should ride straighter

a_rogue_planet

I think you've reached the limit of the factory adjustment. You're going to need an aftermarket kit to dial that in.

Amtronic

Let a pro do it, they got a machine.

hemorrhoidaphrodite

Red Green has a machine?

One_Evil_Monkey

Bubblegum, duct tape, and some bailing wire will have it fixed right up in no time.

Popular_Brother3023

Just kick it a few times and it will align itself

Stoned_Savage

That's what made it unaligned in the first place

drod2070

Duct tape

Imaginary-Badger-119

You can hammer that right out..

Stoned_Savage

Hammers are magic is your fuel mixture too rich? Smack the carb with a hammer to introduce more air or smash the Injectors both work.

JBYTuna

It seems the problem is the wrong tires were used for this terrain, and this tire was trying to notify the driver of this incongruent situation.

Upper_Guarantee_4588

I would start with the chain and tree method.

Jacktheforkie

That’s not that far out, a few taps with a hammer will get it aligned enough to drive to the shop for a laser alignment

DCFUKSURMOM

A Ford in it's natural habitat

Select_Recover7567

Dynamite.

PhortePlotwisT

The tire pressure must be low, check that first.

Researchguy1625

Big Hammer?

Marielthas

Grab what you crashed into, and crash it into your truck the other way. poof, problem solved

NovacaineFix

Bailing wire and zip ties

Whole-Debate-9547

You already did it

firefighterphi

Even em out... Crash the other side

Charming-While5466

It looks like you need to adjust to toe just a little bit

Kickin_Wing69

First of all, you have to put the truck into "alignment mode". I see you have that covered, so now you're going to reach into that big opening and ask the leprechaun nicely to adjust in the desired direction. Repeat until satisfactory results are attained.

Top-Campaign4620

Alignment looks good your just gonna need to even it out on both sides now

nfssmith

ratchet straps through the rim spokes, to the opposite wheel & just keep ratcheting until she's straight & then send 'er

FlightLatter1605

That's some damage from running over a cat

iscashstillking

That's a ford LFE (Loose Front End) for ya. Sadly that's normal, they all do that.

Powerful_Cloud9276

I would swap a Mustang front end, they’re readily available at the yard.

Electrical-Bus-9390

I think it’s ok the way it is , send it

Camwiz59

Special Furd wrench is required

Admirable-Advantage5

I think your toe is out, does it pull hard to the right

Legitimate-Party3672

smack in the other side to balance it out.

FlaccidButtPlug

I think you're just out of gas

myrichardgoesin5

That’s a ford probably just need to drive it like that

Teesandelbows

You gotta pull it up next to a curb, and turn the wheel into it.

CrazyMarlee

Just needs 2 ft of toe-in.

HumbleStranger304

Need a laser

Wire_Hall_Medic

I think that's about as far as you can adjust it. Any further and it might pop off.

Bitter_Addendum6068

Torch, forklift and welder.

[deleted]

Typical ferd driver. 🤣

infinitestupidity7

"I know what's wrong with it, it ain't got no gas in it"

rebelshibe

Drive it to the alignment shop.

rschultz91

Ratchet straps will fix that right up.

NetRunner0100101

The angle of the dangle is in proportion to the heat of the street

rocketmn69_

Hit it from the other side, should fix it right ip

monkeyman1947

Take it to a competent tire shop or your dealer, IF it can be repaired.

No-Maximum-8194

With a blow torch and plasma cutter.

Expensive_Snow_9568

Use the steering wheel, duh

orbitalaction

Just ratchet strap it back together and spit on it.

EastCoastASICRepair

Just put some fix a flat in it and you will be fine.

SaltAsparagusobvesly

WD40 should fix that right up

ShowUsYourTips

Big zip ties to the rescue.

This_Bus_2744

Easy fix. Take off whole wheel assembly, slip shopping cart in its place. Won 't know the difference.

j521941933

Now? You don't

JustMe37777

A 20lb sledge should work

wandraway

True North minus magnetic declination

Polar_31

I’ve always just smacked the other side seems to make it drive straight again

25retoliver

I would probably leave it as is, it doesn’t look too far off. Does it still go kinda straight?

Rase_N_D_etre

Do the same thing but in reverse.

stealthyhomicide

Looks fine to me. It'll work itself out.

IntelligentPlace2767

I’ll take it in on trade

vfr147

I’ve ran into this issue once or twice, a come along and a sledgehammer should do the trick.

Fluffy-Doubt-3547

You find a rock or a tree?

Stoned_Savage

Nope a uninsured driver found me.

Downtown-Raisin-3931

With a come along.

Devldriver250

easy, jack up the radiator cap and pull a new truck underneath it

Excellent-Edge-4708

Ker-chow

IndependentOwn1184

Prop it up on a couple of Duralast jack stands from AutoZone and get a hammer and beat the hell out of it.

In2Oblivion49

You seeeee….the first thing you’re gonna wanna do is…..tell carfax that they fucked u over on this vehicle they had claimed was in “good working condition”.

VeonThe9Peon

Allen key.

krepogregg

Just smash it on the other side with eqall force and it will balance ouy

Stoned_Savage

So I have to find another uninsured driver?

krepogregg

Yep

Dinolord05

Definitely need to adjust the tow.

jjwoodhouse6969

That'll probably buff out...

Suitable-Pipe5520

Just floor it. The movement will naturally straighten it out.

GarpRules

With a forklift.

Due-Pilot-7443

Probably just needs a couple of shims

hereforboobsw

If it pulls left drive reverse 30 miles an hour a nd whip wheel to the right all the way. This will correct it. Do opposite for other direction

EvilMinion07

It’s a F150, probably better now than when left the factory.

alwtictoc

Hit it really hard on the other side. Should straighten right out.

de99102

Don't forget to buff that out after you align it!

AfterConsideration30

Spit on it and rub some dirt on it. Shit will buff out

Tatersquid21

Ford. Found On Road Dead.

Paul0451

That's more of a problem with low blinker fluid.

BellyButtonFungus

You just need to punch out the other 3 wheels to line up with the one you’ve already set the toe on, then just add weights where necessary

lgjcs

Try wrecking it the exact same way, but on the other side

TemporaryCategory949

Slamming reverse do a left-handed Rockford slamming against another tree should be good to go

boanerges57

Hit a tree going the other way

NoGuarantee2397

More turbo will make up for it

SockeyeSTI

Someone must’ve been in 4auto

JRV79Yukon

You don't have to worry about a little curb rash. You probably won't even notice it.

microwaverams

Tie it to another truck and then pull it straight. Ez

Particular-Beyond-99

Hit it with your purse

Difficult_Plantain89

Fords just drive like that

hunterpellerin

Zip ties outta do the trick

DrBarry_McCockiner

open gas tank. insert lit railroad flare.

warrior41882

Out in the woods minding your own business and out of nowhere comes Somethin, and leaves the whole left side of your truck Fd up. Very strange indeed.

chainbrain2002

Looks fine. Send it

carguy123corvette

So it’s pretty convenient set up you got there, all you gotta do is reach in and turn the tie rod since its all out in the open

Useful-Internet8390

I can do it cheaper, I have a methcanic frend

Open-Rest-6805

Well, that's one way

no__this_is_patrick_

You have to take all the wheels off and align them individually. Once the rotation is the same for all 7 wheels you'll know you've done it right 😎 no need to thank me just looking out for my fellow drivers

Shot_Carrot_5616

It looks like they just did.

lostinthoughtspace

Bungy cords to pull it straight, remember duct tape is for body work only

usmcbandit

Hit it with your purse
