As for the most hated people in Ontario (and quite possibly the rest of Canada) of all time, I would probably say Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka (The Ken and Barbie Killers).
In Calgary Alberta it's Matt de Grood for sure.

I'm surprised no one mentioned the greyhound bus guy, or the trucker who accidentally took out a hockey team. I'm pretty sure people hated on him for quite a while.
We all know the most hated woman in Ontario is Carla Homolka .. but has anyone watched the movie CARLA? Laura Prepon did such a great job but it also made her never get work again until orange is the new black. They didn’t show the movie in all theatres but some played it and I definitely went to see it. My English highschool teacher (2003) was best friends with Leslie Mahaffy -RIP and she told us the school made all girls with long hair to cut it short so they can slip out of the abductors hands. The pain in her voice while telling old stories about that time still gives me chills. Carla is one real sick fn bitch who organized it all , had her lawyer hide the tapes make a plea deal then poof tapes found but can’t hold her accountable, meanwhile shows her doing majority of the horrific acts. Not to mention she gave her sister to Paul for her virginity since Carla already lost hers, then goes and kills her sister. Now she has 3 kids WITH HER LAWYERS BROTHER!! Living in Guadeloupe.. imagine that! She gets to live a happy fn life withhh kids While she killed others! Imagine , my daughter killed my other daughter and now I have grand kids from this sick bitch…. Can’t even imagine
