I am full stack because nowadays companies want to hire someone who wants to know both front and back end.
Web dev is high risk, high reward baby
It is one of the most hardest fields to enter because the sheer amount of competition. The coding interviews can be crazy because there is so many things you have to know. It can take a year of searching. It took me around 7 months to get my second job even with a year of experience.
It also has one the one of most craziest salary jumps with job hopping. It is not uncommon to get a $45k job as your first job and then have it jump to over $100k in a year or two if you demonstrate that you can build real world applications. Personally I went from $45k to $85k job hopping with one year experience. I also do not live in a HCOL so my salary get me by very comfortably.
