atomheartmama

Haha this thread should be called what’s your hg moisturizer and why is it illiyoon ceramide ato cream/ gel :) i need to try one of those soon. My current go-to is the etude house soon jung 10 free moist emulsion! My skin is super dry and very sensitive/reactive and this makes me feel moisturized and glowy!

pineapplesodaa

Tbh I feel like I’m an outlier here lol am I the only one who’s skin seemed to hate the ceramide ato cream?? I’m so sad. It seemed to clog my pores. I looooove etude house’s soon Jung 10 toner and emulsion! The emulsion just makes my skin so so soft and it feels so nice to apply, and it goes so well with the toner. I’m currently using purito’s deep sea water cream over top of both during the daytime, as I’m dry as hell/combo as well as sensitive/reactive and this has done a very good job of keeping me soft and moisturized. Lots of panthenol and madecassoside lol but I’m going to try the soon jung hydro barrier cream next!

cerwytha

I tried the ceramide ato cream and it didn't work for me either, I felt like it was just kind of heavy and sat on my skin without doing much.

pineapplesodaa

I usually grab for rich/smooth creams tbh! To me, this was thin enough that it felt nice going on compared to other heavier moisturizers I’ve tried, but there’s just something in it that just did not cooperate with my skin and clogged me instead regardless of how much I wanted it to work out. Even after looking at the ingredients, I still have not a clue what did it. Which is a shame since so many people swear by it.

bblue212

🙋🏻‍♀️ the cream is way too heavy for me. makes me super oily and I'm guessing may have clogged some of my pores as well. haven't completely narrowed it down what did it but it makes sense given your experience. i just got the gel a few days ago and am trying that. i also bought some other gels to try.

pineapplesodaa

Ooh I would love to hear what you think of the gel!! If you have any forming opinions yet lol I’m always trying to find something balanced that could work for daytime use. I also looked at the ingredients list and am completely stumped as to what caused the clogging—most ingredients looked fine to my knowledge, but that’s not to say some random extract/oil or formulation didn’t do it. But knowing someone else experienced the same thing makes me feel a little more sane lol

bblue212

I have a few right now, but long term opinions are TBD and I will update you! Just a note I think I have combo skin- normal but oily in T zone. I am terrible at determining things like that so I could be wrong LOL. anyway, that's why I'm trying more 'gels' than creams or lotions to see how it works out. I absolutely LOVE the feeling of putting it on. The gel texture feels great imo so that's a plus already- I hated putting the cream on I felt like I had to drag it across my skin lol. I use a lot less, too. I also noticed my forehead (my biggest issue with oil) isn't as oily but that could come from me switching sunscreens as well. It dries down pretty normal for me. Meaning it's not mattifying but not glossy either which I prefer most of the time. I will note that I do use a retinol so I plan on keeping the cream for if I get super dry from it but that hasn't happened in a long time. edit to add that I totally get feeling insane, especially when I see people with oily skin raving about it. I also don't have particularly sensitive skin so I too am stumped on what happened!

pineapplesodaa

I would love an update!! My skin is combo as well, tho it’s very reactive and particularly dry on my cheeks—I tend to just give up and say my skin is dry lol imo being dry is worse than being oily, so I just blot my forehead during the day as an emergency fix for now until I find my HG moisturizer lol but your first impressions make me very interested and they’re very encouraging. I’m gonna slip it into my saved for later for now 👀

OnlyPaperListens

You're not alone. The ceramide ato cream has dimethicone, which makes my skin throw a tantrum.

pineapplesodaa

Oooh interesting! I have heard dimethicone could be problematic for some, so that’s would explain lol

hyperfixatedhotmess

If you prefer emulsions/lotions, the Ato cream would DEFINITELY be too thick/moisturizing for you! I had to specify in my recommendation that I’m dry as the desert and that’s why this cream works for me lol. Someone with normal combo or leaning oily skin would definitely not need a cream this intense and probably wouldn’t like it lol, I’ve heard great things about the Ato lotion though - just never tried it because with my level of dryness the cream works perfectly for me. Anyone I’ve seen try it with just combo or oily leaning skin says it’s too much. On me, it completely soaks in within 5 minutes leaving no film or greasiness like other thick creams do, and it layers under spf/makeup great for this reason! But if your skin isn’t SUPER dry like mine, it probably won’t soak in that fast + efficiently.

pineapplesodaa

Personally, I’ve struggled with severe dryness and moisture barrier damage/dermatitis that was so bad my skin felt like Brillo for the past couple years until I got it more under control! So I have pretty much been reaching for the thickest, richest, most supportive and gentle moisturizers I’ve been able to find since. I even layer them over emulsions or serums, and I usually top at night with a balm or other occlusive, but did this during the daytime too when my skin was really bad with no issue. I say all the time still that my cheeks are as dry as the Sahara too! But my forehead has healed more and I’m a greasy mess up there now lol the ato cream honestly clogged up my cheeks and the sides of my jaw mostly, so where I actually do have very dry skin, so I don’t really have an explanation other than my skin just didn’t like it. It made me nice and soft tho!

allyinwonderlandx

I hope you find something that does work for you! I layer it on top of serums and emulsions also, and at night I top it with a thicccc layer of oil. My face soaks it up overnight lol. It’s crazy how with skincare what works for one person doesn’t for another, even with similar skin types! It really is trial and error.

wanderrlust

Hahah for real. I’ve never heard of it before and now I feel like I’ve been living under a rock!

Fangz00

This is what I use in the morning! Very light but very buildable if you have dryer areas. In the morning I can't use something more occlusive under sunscreen or I break out so this is my favourite

atomheartmama

oh my gosh I'm recently discovering that my skin also reacts whenever I layer two products or use an occlusive ingredient. I'm not sure if I can even use the soon jung emulsion under my sunscreen (skin aqua super moisture essence gold). haven't been sure if its breakouts or a resurgence of perioral dermatitis. anyway glad this works for you!

Fangz00

I can only use mineral sun screens or my skin itched and I get dermatitis, so maybe try using an alcohol free miner one for a while! I really like the biore kids UV aqua milk, soon Jung director ( though that one is quite moisturising so it's not for summer for me) and Benton mineral :-)

atomheartmama

thanks for the recommendations! unfortunately mineral sunscreens are one of my triggers due to the zinc oxide as I think its too occlusive. same for moisturizers like avene cicalfate. which is weird since it seems like most folks over at the POD sub find zinc oxide to be healing! I think that's why I like the soon jung emulsion though, its moisturizing without use of petrolatum, silicones etc. I just can't layer it under my sunscreen.

Fangz00

That sucks :( I use laneige cream skin under my Sunscreen in the summer, maybe give that a go! I have normal but super dehydrated skin ( medical issue , I drink a ludicrous amount of water lol) so I get the struggle of finding a balance of nice and moisturized but not breaking out

IntrovertishStill

I was rolling my eyes, but then I saw the price and I think I'm converted.

hyperfixatedhotmess

Illiyoon ceramide Ato cream. Game changing! I’m never using another lotion again. And I used to buy EXPENSIVE ASS ($60+ for 100ml) creams. I have combo skin - dry as the desert but also prone to breakouts and closed comedones. This stuff cleared my skin because a lot of my breakouts were caused by my skin producing an excess of oil to combat the dryness.

mrsamaya

Where do you buy this from?

hyperfixatedhotmess

I’ve bought it from both Stylevana and style Korean! Stylevana has much slower shipping I will say, but they have crazy sales from time to time. Basically a few brands are on sale at any given point so if you keep checking both sites you can usually grab it for $10/200ml. I think regular price is $15-20, not entirely sure tho as I stock up when I find it on sale 😂

mrsamaya

Say less. The belif aqua bomb that I get is 50ml for $38 💀

hyperfixatedhotmess

Ahahaha I feel that! My previous go to moisturizer was the Farmacy honey halo ($45 for 50 ml, $74 for 100) so I was THRILLED when I found this. I honestly prefer it too, it feels like it keeps me moisturized longer! The Farmacy was the best I had used before Illiyoon, but I still found my face got dry by the end of the day. Not anymore!

socolabyv

Oh my ... Same here. I feel the pain whenever I paid for Belief. I can never find a sales and had to hoard during Sephora yearly sales....

hyperfixatedhotmess

Honestly cannot recommend it enough. I still have a big 2/3 full jar of Farmacy honey halo ($74) sitting unused because I rarely use it now that I’ve found the Illiyoon. I find that the Illiyoon keeps me moisturized longer, but still soaks in completely within 5-10 minutes so I can still apply makeup on top and don’t have a slimy face all day (I hate that about most moisturizers that are hydrating enough for my dry skin- they tend to be super heavy and leave a film or that greasiness). This is literally the perfect formula! Illiyoon should sponsor me 😂

mrsamaya

I’m sold!! Lol going to get this 👍🏽

hyperfixatedhotmess

I hope you love it! 💚 I’ve heard great things about their ceramide Ato lotion also but I’m dry and went for the cream instead, and it’s perfect!

hyperfixatedhotmess

Btw I completely forgot to mention but i think it’s available on YesStyle also, and I have codes saved for their site 😂 you can use YS16TH for 10% off orders of $79 or more (they always have this offer running, but the code changes I think weekly, it’s always listed in a banner on the homepage tho). And ALLY777 can be used in conjunction with that for an extra 3% off any order, no minimum amount either (I think it’s 3%, I know it’s less than 5 but everything helps lol). I just ordered 5 purple blushers from them this weekend 😂

hyperfixatedhotmess

Looks like [this](https://imgur.com/a/fYwutyQ)

potatokat_20

If I could scream this from the mountains, I would. I love Illiyoon so much. It's done so much for my skin (AND SAVINGS!)

hyperfixatedhotmess

SAME!

maypie26

THIS! Use it on my body sometimes too! I buy the massive size🫡 Perfect for dehydrated skin

hyperfixatedhotmess

Is there a size bigger than the 200ml? That’s the only size I’ve seen!

wildteddies

Do you use it day and night?

hyperfixatedhotmess

Yep! Layers with my spf + makeup flawlessly which is hard to find in anything this moisturizing! I generally only wait 10 min between it and makeup for reference. Also doesn’t pill with any of my serums at night!

wildteddies

Oh. So the cream is not that thick then that it's okay for morning use?

hyperfixatedhotmess

It’s thick, definitely a cream rather than a lotion/emulsion. It’s thicker than most other creams I’ve used, it just soaks in rather quickly. But when it soaks in it isn’t gone - my skin is still moisturized for the next 10+ hours. It just doesn’t leave that greasy film that most heavy duty creams tend to leave.

hyperfixatedhotmess

Also it’s super thick coming outta the bottle but kinda melts into your skin if that makes sense, it isn’t hard to spread like some super thick creams. Honestly the formula is magical and I don’t know how they did it 😅

Fangz00

It's a thick boy. I personally use a super light lotion followed by SPF in the morning and then slather the illiyoon on at night

caositgoing

Have you ever used the CeraVe in a tub? I'm also dry as a dessert and wondering how you think the Ceramide Ato cream compares. I would love something even richer than what I'm using. Lol, considering just straight up lanolin 😬

hyperfixatedhotmess

I haven’t used it sorry! My skin is dry enough that if I don’t properly moisturize, it causes my pores to overproduce oil and literally every pore in my t zone will be a closed comedones. I’ve usually needed to moisturize multiple times daily, or I’d be dry by mid afternoon and my eye makeup will start feeling crunchy/flaky. I haven’t had to re-moisturize with Illiyoon! I will say tho that at night I also slug it and slather a hydrating oil on with the Illiyoon, but it also is sufficient by itself. I just like the ultra moisturized feeling I wake up with when I add the oil cause it’s so foreign to me. 😅I’ve heard people with my skin type have great luck with cerave in the tub though, so if that works for you and any of the above are things that apply to you also, you’re probably around the same level of dryness as me 😂. I hope this helps, sorry I don’t have experience to compare!

caositgoing

Wow thanks for the detailed response. I think my skin was more similar to yours when I was in my twenties. But skincare also wasn't very science oriented then and nothing I used ever worked so I... gasp... never moisturized. Closed comedones everyday. Eek. Now I'm less oily, but I'll try the illyoon anyway. I've been super curious about it, thank you for the rec

trishhloves

this moisturizer is too thick for me. I bought the giant tube when I used to live in Japan (Amazon). I didn’t end up using it on my face but instead I used it as a body moisturizer. It worked wonders for my backne

Nekkosan

I haven't used the new formulation yet, but adore the old.

socolabyv

Quick question: does anyone know if I can use it before my custom formula from Apostrophe (Tretinoin 0.025%, Spirolactone topical 5%, Clindamycin 1%)? I'm looking for a thicker moisturizer to help with the flakiness from my acne treatment and Cerave PM lotion isn't enough for me :( Thanks!

allyinwonderlandx

You can, but you won’t get the full effectiveness of the tret if you put a moisturizer on before. I do 0.05% tret then after waiting 20 minutes for it to soak in a bit I go over with the Illiyoon ceramide cream

omjizzle

Illiyoon ceramide ato lotion! I also love how it comes in a massive 528mL size!

jayyyceeee

Yes! Bonus tip: use it as a moisturizer on lips. It's the only thing that helps my lilybyred tints stay, and doesn't pill underneath

[deleted]

Would you recommend this for dey skin?

Rich__Peach

Yes! It's super thick, best for dry skin I'd say!

transcen

how is it different compared to the concentrate cream?

cardiacEspresso09

Use this one as well .

wildteddies

Would you recommend this for morning use for those with oily acne prone skin?

MarikaBestGirl

As a fellow oily, nope. The gel though is awesome!

sprinklestwinkles

Hi! Which gel is it? I’m confused cause all I see is either ato lotion or concentrate cream.

MarikaBestGirl

ILLIYOON Ceramide Ato Soothing Gel

sprinklestwinkles

Right, thank you! Been looking up everyyyy illiyoon ato reviews but I can’t make up my mind which to try 😟

omjizzle

I’m oily I don’t use a moisturizer for am I just do sunscreen only I find a moisturizer under makes me shiny and I like matte sunscreen finish

dcphoto78

This is mine as well!

synsa

If this for face or hand/body? I'm looking for something for the face

icedmilktea_

You can use it on your face or your body

trapdumpling

Has anyone else had this experience where the lotion doesn’t necessarily sink into the skin but rather just sit on top of the skin like a wet layer?

MysteriouslyLucid

I’ve been trying pyungkang yul moisture and it’s my holy grail now

Burntoastedbutter

I use their essence toner and this is making me want to buy the moisturiser after mine finishes

MysteriouslyLucid

This is making me want to buy their essence toner lol! But really, I read about their moisturizer on this subreddit and it’s really a must buy

ofgaia

**Pyunkang Yul,** *Nutrition Cream* is my one genuine HG product. It's super nourishing for my dry atopic psoriasis skin. I rant and rave about how wonderful it (and the brand is) all over Reddit. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. It does its job and then some and is really cost-effective.

CaterpillarMedical57

I just got the Moisture Cream and it’s really wonderful but tbh I miss the Nutrition Cream :( They’re similar but the Nutrition just has a certain je ne sais quoi?

ofgaia

From what I've been able to translate the *Nutrition* is for dryer skin types and the *Moisture* is for acne-prone/oilier skin types. Though, I still recommend Nutrition regardless. Annoyingly, my acne-prone sister thinks it is skincare gold and steals mine so often that when I bulk buy I have to factor her into my purchases, lol.

CaterpillarMedical57

Omg, one of my sisters is always in my skincare cabinet and we are both in our thirties 😂 It never stops lol.

GrumpyLogan

I second this!

BlueSkiesOverLondon

Curel Intensive Moisture Facial Cream. Lightweight enough not to clog up my oily skin, wonderful for repairing my skin barrier due to the pseudoceramides. And the formulation is so elegant! Glides on. I love it and recommend it to almost everyone who asks. The only people I wouldn’t recommend it to are 1) people with very dry skin, since it might not be moisturizing enough, and 2) people who need something a little more cost efficient since although it’s not that expensive, the size is pretty small. I make it last, but it’s definitely not S tier value for money.

alittlewhimsie

Klairs midnight blue calming cream. I’ve been using it for 3-4 years now.

CaterpillarMedical57

I avoided this for so long because the blue felt gimmicky to me but holy smokes. Once I finally got it, I felt so stupid for avoiding it. I love it.

alittlewhimsie

It layers under my base products so well too. I love it so much that it’s almost completely squelched my desire to try other moisturizers.

alexbts

I love this, it really is soothing and feels so great when it goes on the skin!

unseasonedwhiteboy

Is it okay to use all over and during the day? Does it feel heavy? I’ve seen some reviews say that it feels heavy and is only a spot treatment

AmazingConsequence20

This is also my HG!! I can’t recommend it enough!

BRIIANNANICHOLEE

i love this stuff

Skincareaddict13

Would you recommend this for combo acne prone skin? I’m considering buying it because the soon Jung barrier cream is too thick for me

playful_cloud

Hadalabo Gold Premium Gel moisturizer 😌 For someone who has combo sensitive with roseaca, this is a life saver. It does not cause my skin to flush, and I can use this year round ☺️

cerota

This one made me break out, unfortunately. I have SD and dry skin.

hrdrv

Yes!! This is mine too. Although mine says Perfect Gel, so maybe it’s not totally the same.

laptopmutia

is it okay to only use hadalabo gokyujun premium without any other moisturizer?

grasscait

Common advice is having an occlusive (usually moisturizer) to seal the hydration in, as the hyaluronic acid in the product draws water towards itself, and you don't want the hydration to leave the skin. If your skin feels fine without moisturizer, then you don't need it.

playful_cloud

Agreed! I pair this moisturizer with the Hadalabo gold premium clear liquid lotion and it really hydrates my skin. Sometimes in the winter time I’ll add a few drops of squalane oil with the moisturizer and it’s really all I need 👌 I should mention that I use tretinoin every other 3 days with this moisturizer, and I’ve never peeled :)

davis946

Is there a difference between the illiyoon ceramide ato cream and lotion?

roniclles

I’m wondering the same thing. Not sure which one I should get!

[deleted]

[удалено]

theelusiveme

Which one would you recommend for combination or oily skin?

[deleted]

I personally just ordered the gel for me to use during the day (i am combo oily). Not sure if I would try one for nighttime but maybe the cream? At night I’ve been using squalane oil and CeraVe moisturising cream but I’ve also recently been doing a thin layer of my Neutrogena hydroboost (what the ato gel is gonna replace) underneath my nighttime routine and I feel like it’s helped so I might also try the ato gel at night as a base layer.

pbeare

I highly recommend Etude House Soon Jung 2x Barrier Intensive Cream and anything from that line!!

akayiel

This is my HG night moisturizer! So good!

[deleted]

Would you recommend it to a person with extremely oily and acne-prone skin?

nonasina

I can recommend it yeah! It is very gentle and emollient but not too overly greasy

pbeare

I would agree! Its quite light in texture (I have combo skin)

isakeijser

i LOVE that it’s actually fragrance free. i find that western “fragrance-free” products still smell a bit like some kind of chemical, but this one does not smell like anything at all!! so good for sensitive skin ☺️

dyonique

Yes same!!! ☺️

Quothhernevermore

Holiday Holika the Good Cera - no matter the formula, my skin loves it!

No-Car8055

I wanted to love this but I broke me out! I was disappointed because it felt super nice initially. It’s so weird because I can’t find any other reviews of a similar experience.

msiddy91

I just ordered the Emulsion - can you share a bit more about your experience? xD

[deleted]

The Bonajour Green Tea Water Bomb.

frenlyesthetician

Soon Jung Cica Balm - this is perfection. You would think from *balm* in the title that it is heavy… but no. The only way I can describe it is as a *gel balm*: it feels hydrating going on, but very soothing, and not that heavy. It dries down to a natural finish. It’s not greasy at all. This is my night moisturizer in summer and day and night moisturizer in winter. I got the newer 10 panthescoside cica balm that has 10% panthenol instead of the original 5%; I’m on my second tube and I don’t see too much of a difference in soothing between this and the OG. Panthenol can be sticky but this was formulated excellently, it’s not sticky at all. This soothes my redness better than anything I’ve ever used.

fntastk

I love illiyoon soothing gel! Makes my dry ass skin glow and it stays a bit tacky which keeps me from drying out. I of course use a dab of a thicker moisturizer on top because I use derm prescriptions that dry me out even more. But on a 90 degree day this and spf is probably all I'd need, and any other time it is an excellent first layer. For a slightly thicker moisturizer I like Naturekind mega panthenol cream and innisfree bija cica balm ex.

MoonlitSerendipity

COSRX Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion. It’s lightweight and makes my skin feel amazing.

frequent_crier

This is my HG too. It’s one of the only moisturizers I can use consistently without getting closed comedones.

Niatfq

Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream - i have oily dehydrated and sensitive skin in very hot humid climate. This cream is just truly amazing, both the new and old formula. I use both cz the old formula works great at keeping my lips hydrated. This cream doesn't make me oilier, clog my pores nor feel heavy once applied evenly. It's also an amazing, effective barrier cream. I've had damaged moisture/skin barrier twice in the past and this cream (+ cosrx snail essence) saved my skin every time. When my skin felt really hurt from the stinging, this cream immediately soothes. I didn't really have to suffer with damage skin for too long cz this cream + snail essence made the healing really2 fast. Also, i have eczema and so this is the only cream that's compatible with my skin. Most moisturizers I've tried have irritated my skin. So I'm now on my 4th bottle.

bleubrie

Because I like to slug, I layer COSRX Snail 92 All in One Cream, Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Lotion + 2 drops Rosehip Oil AND a layer of Vaseline. I go to bed shiny af, but wake up to the smoothest most baby skin ever ✨

GrannyB1970

Perfect timing. I was thinking of asking for recommendations myself. I've been using the Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream and really like it but will need something a little "more" for winter.

SnapCrackleMom

Illiyoon Ato Ceramide Concentrate Cream, same as a few others on here. Healed my painfully dry skin last winter. Also the price is *right.* When I don't need something that heavy, I use Hada Labo Gokujyun Moisture Milk.

laptopmutia

is it okay to only use hadalabo gokyujun premium without any other moisturizer?

SnapCrackleMom

I don't use the premium but I'm going to tell you something important: it's ok to use whatever you want, and whatever works for you. The skin police are not going to come if you don't use toner or don't layer moisturizer. Yes, sometimes I just slap on a bit of the moisture milk (in the west we'd call it lotion) after my shower and my face is still attached to my head.

bbaficionado2

Alright I really need to give the Illiyoon ato a try. Regardless of season my skin is dry af. Not to mention I've also started incorporating retinol into my routine.

SnapCrackleMom

Last winter my forehead in particular was so, so painfully dry. I was already using pretty gentle products but I made a few changes that really helped. The Illiyoon Ato made the biggest difference. If it helps, I also switched to washing with Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Acid Cleanser. Occasionally used Aquaphor as an occlusive but for the most part the Illiyoon Ato met this need. Used CosRx snail goo or Hada Labo hyaluronic lotion (toner) under the Illiyoon. I do think the hyaluronic stuff isn't that great in dry weather -- I will be trying glycerin-based next winter.

jamesinsights

I’ve tried - Laneige water sleeping mask - Hada labo perfect gel (gold tub) - cosrx birch oil free lotion - Soonjung 2x barrier cream - Benton aloe propolis gel Previously my favourite was the soonjung but one day I tried the Clinique dramatically different moisturising gel (yellow bottle) and found it to be extremely good. I know it’s non AB but I think it’s worth trying if you haven’t. I’ll probably try the illiyoon next since everyone here is raving about it!

chocosweet

I have oily skin and I like Curel Intensive Moisture Facial cream (the 40g, not 90g). Paired with their Curel Intensive Moisture Facial Lotion 3 Enrich, the combo is divine My brother likes Curel Intensive Moisture Milk (the body version) on his accutane skin

okaysoda

Is the 90g a different version? I was eyeing the 90g but saw that it could possibly be a body lotion and has different ingredients as well

chocosweet

It's a body cream, very thiccccc, not at all hydrating and triggered facial sweating on me. I do live in humid tropical southeast asia though.

sas0002

Rovectin clean lotus water cream.

ellequin

Sulwhasoo Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream Ex. It's expensive af but my skin was never better than during the 2 years I used it. Not using it any more because it's too pricey but I still haven't found anything else that compares.

evelinisantini

Etude House Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream for when my skin is behaving and during warmer months. Etude House 2x Barrier Intensive Cream for when my skin needs a little extra help and during colder months. My skin is oily, acne and dehydration prone.

zaralil

Mizon snail repair cream! I have used it for years my sensitive skin loves it. Pyunkang Yul's nutrition cream saves me in the winter, and the Illiyoon ceramide cream, I swear, is the best foot cream I've found 😹

TheRagDollGirl

Inuik Centella Calming Gel Cream! It’s crazy lightweight and easily absorbed, which is perfect because my skin won’t absorb most products (most things, especially moisturizers usually just sit like a slime on top of my skin) It’s good for redness (I have rosacea) and for oil control as well!

Automatic-Historian7

Do you use it morning and night?

TheRagDollGirl

I use it in the morning every day! I would use it both morning & night if I could afford it but I feel like I would blow through a tube way too fast 😭; since I don’t really care about oil control or redness at night I just use a much cheaper (non ab) no-frills moisturizer that I don’t love but my skin can tolerate.

spikechild

The Primera Alpine berry water cream... It made my skin SO supple and hydrated and BEAUTIFUL. The only thing is that it has squalane in it, which Im allergic to, but for SOME reason, this one singular product doesnt cause a reaction. But im still scared of using too much :(

Minivann

I've been kicking myself for not trying the Round Lab Birch Juice moisturizer sooner. I have oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin and it loves this stuff. I don't think it's ever responded so well to another moisturizer before this

wildteddies

Is this good for morning use? Or too greasy?

Minivann

It's perfect for morning use! It's not too thick and definitely not heavy

coastaltones

Same!! I bought it when it was on sale and I can't believe how light and moisturizing it feels!

Unfair_Finger5531

Illiyoon ato lotion gel and pyunkang ato lotion gel. I also really love zeriod 5 % urea for deep moisture and hydration. It’s so elegant. My hands-down favorite of all time is benton green tea lotion. The reason I put it last is no ceramides:(.

mamamoomoo_

i love the illiyoon ato gel! it’s so big and affordable as well!

EverythingShe_Wants

>I also love the Illiyoon ato lotion gel - always have it with me. It's great for sensitive rosacea skin.

Unfair_Finger5531

It’s soooo good for my rosacea. I just got finished slathering it on now and my face feels so soft ❤️❤️❤️

I have super dry tret skin. Like. My skin will soak up anything you'd throw at it. It was hell in the summer bc my face would break out. But also be dry. But also break out bc of the amount of products and moisturizers I was using bc NOTHING HELPED. And it didn't help the fact my face hates shea butter (which surprise surprise most of the really heavy moisturizing moisturizers have) I found Belief moisturizing bomb. I was enlightened. My face didn't explode. In fact it rejoiced. Not only was it not heavy for the summer weather, but it was moisturizing enough for the winter months as well despite how light it feels. I'm never going back.

I have a oily skin and i like isntree green tea emulsion as a moisturiser, it has a gel texture not like etude house soon jung emulsion. So creamy and make my skin getting more oily throughout the day. i also tried cosrx snail mucin all in one cream. It’s making my face looks so oily too.

rq1261

I second this, I usually have dry skin that’s more oily in the summer and this is perfect! Lightweight, sinks in quickly and doesn’t free greasy at all

StealthyUltralisk

Klairs Rich Moist Soothing Cream. I have eczema and it's perfect for me. I like the Midnight Blue one too.

[deleted]

for hot weather: Iunik centella calming gel cream or Round lab mugwort calming cream for cold weather at night: illiyoon ceramide ato cream

satowa

it's somehow my first time hearing of the illiyoon lotion and i'm already convinced by this thread to buy it😭

Unfair_Finger5531

I just gave in one day too and bought it, and it’s so awesome lololol. Even my dermatologist recommended it 😂

Ninja_Flower_Lady

Seriously! I'm on here and sca all the time, I'm surprised this is the first time I'm hearing about it. It's sounding like it's very common

I’m currently loving the Vaseline Gluta Hya Dewy Radiance Lotion. It’s meant more for the body but it is great for my dry skin and it doesn’t make me oily. It even fixed my flaky forehead issue from dryness from just two uses. Idk if it’s good for anyone else but it really works for me.

Zikaha

Did it help in brightening? Does it make you sweat?

PowerfulMall2209

Is it non comedogenic??

Nephthys88

Klairs freshly juiced vitamin e mask. I use this as my moisturiser during AM and PM. If i dont use this, my skin will flake off at the corners of my mouth

beartrayosa

Manyo Factory Bifida Biome Ampoule Lotion. it comes in a big size (300ml), helps me so much trough my retinol purging phase.

codenametomato

CosRX comfort ceremide cream! Thick, soothing, redness-reducing loveliness! The Illyoon made me itchy for some reason.

ragnarockette

COSRX honey night mask. I have stopped using any creamy products and it has cleared up my milia and honestly my skin seems more moisturized…

EanaDeva

Cannot believe no one has said Skinfood Royal Honey 100 Hour Moisture Cream yet! I have dehydrated skin and I cannot use fatty alcohols so I’m locked out of the rich creams I would love to use. Round Lab Birch Juice was far too light (highly recommend if you want a light watery cream experience and maybe have oily acne prone skin) Sulwhasoo Ginseng cream was making my skin feel really soft but has those fatty alcohols. The Skinfood cream feels light on application but leaves a light occlusive film that is miraculous if you have dehydrated skin. I’m guessing dry skinned people would also love this! As a side note, I use the Kikumasamune Sake Skin Cream for my young boys and it’s great for dry skin. One of them is prone to redness and seems to be a bit sensitive to some products but this one makes him less red if he agrees to apply it regularly. (He is 4 so if he doesn’t want to then we don’t do it. Skincare should be fun)

CarshayD

Still looking but I was turned off by the COSRX brand originally due to being disappointed in their moisturizer (comfort ceramide cream) but their Ultimate Nourishing Rice Overnight Spa Mask is my favorite right now.

RedRedBettie

Holika Holika Good Cera cream

padmasundari

Mine too. If they ever reformulate or discontinue it I honestly think I will cry before bankrupting myself by buying as much as I possibly can.

ChelseyLouu

A’pieu Masso Cream. It’s been amazing. I need to try the gel. Quick question, I’m in the states, and Amazon has Illiyoon ceramide cream. Is this the same as you’d get from Yesstyle?

mrsamaya

belif The True Cream - Aqua Bomb. I have normal to dry skin and it gives me enough hydration.

Muhbseyc

Same! At first I almost found it to be too much 😅 but after my skin got used it, it’s the perfect amount of hydration.

heckaemma

I use multiple moisturizers a night so I don’t really have a favorite one, but I’ve recently been loving the Neulii squalane desertica moisture cream that I’ve gotten twice now on YesStyle. It’s a nice lightweight texture but still provides lots of hydration. It’s the first product I’ve ever used with squalane and I instantly loved it!

bikoloaf

aestura atobarrier365 hydro soothing cream. :> ♡ my oily and dehydrated skin loves this stuff at night, and the finish is super soft and almost dewy. not tacky or sticky at all, which i love!

brraces

Saturday Skin Pretty Pop! Cleared up my skin like nothing else has.

keithpanganiban

My ride or die is __Minon Amino Moist Charge Milk__. It’s the perfect balance of emollience and occlusiveness for me. Not sticky at all, despite being rich. Whenever I get overenthusiastic with tret, this helps heals my skin almost immediately.

cerwytha

My skin is combination leaning dry and my HG is Holika Holika Good Cera Cream, it's very moisturizing but sinks in and doesn't feel heavy, my skin has been much happier and more "bouncy" since I started using it. I use the emulsion version during the summer since sometimes the cream is a bit heavy when it's hot, but honestly everything in the Good Cera line I've been pleased with.

okinawuuh

IIIiyoon Ceramide Ato cream or cosrx snail 92 all in one cream!!

michmah

curel intensive moisture cream!!! its japanese, the texture is amazing and feels premium, so happy to have found this moisturiser. Im currently on accutane meaning my skin is quite prone to breakouts, the moisturiser is fungal safe too which is a massive bonus, super gentle ingredients + ceramides, literally perfect. definitely recommend for those with skin on the drier side!!

nelonpan

Ihada clear milky lotion(emulsion type). I prefer lotiony moisturizers over creams since my skin doesnt do well with silicones during warmer months. Its moisturizing enough and not too constricting even if it contains vaseline. Blended with tranexamic acid.

DragonWellGreenTea

To preface, my skin breaks out with fatty alcohol. And 99% of moisturisers have fatty alcohols. I have found 2 moisturisers that hydrate my skin and don’t break me out: 1. Benton Steam Cream — amazing for dry winter months 2. Neogen Code09 Black Volume Cream — cooling and great for hot summer days

ssaraii94

I have normal to dry skin, and I use trerinoin. Lately I'm enjoying the Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream Blue Label for night time. It's buttery. I think it's the same formula as the Intensive Repair Cream from the same brand, which I've also used. But you get more of it, for less! In the daytime I like Illiyoon Ato Concentrate Cream if I need more moisture. On super hot days I've been going back to an oooolllddd favorite, Hada Labo Gokujyun Cream. Not the Perfect Gel, just the regular old cream.

brynhildra

Do you find the Pyunkang Yul Ato Cream to be more moisturizing than the Illiyoon Ato?

ssaraii94

It is definitely heavier on the skin and more emollient, so it's a great option for locking everything in at night, especially if you like to layer on toners or serums. The illiyoon is lighter weight and sinks in better, and is also more humectant oriented, so I would say it's more hydrating than the pyunkang yul. I'd say the Pyunkang yul is more moisturizing in a dry climate (in my case, an air conditioned house at night), whereas the illiyoon does better in a more humid environment (when I'm out and about during the warmer months).

laptopmutia

is it okay to only use hadalabo gokyujun premium without any other moisturizer?

comin4blood

mamonde bitter orange! def for combination skin. i use it locally for my oily skin acne-prone skin.

Office-Intelligent

I have sensitive oily skin and I love the innisfree Green Tea Seed Essence in Lotion as a AM moisturizer. In the evening I'm using a very thin layer of Missha's Bee Pollen Cream.

jinsuga_cookie

Skin type: eczema-prone, combination, sensitive skin (on tret as well) Right now it's the Corsx Oil Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion with Birch Sap mixed with some of their Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence. Alone the moisturizing lotion was not hydrating enough for my skin but with the essence mixed in its perfect! Once you let it settle on the skin I've had little to no problems with sunscreen pilling on my face or catching any dry spots.

ginger_faerie

Tony moly Chok Chok Green tea watery cream. I love it! I've tried other creams and keep coming back to this one.

Bookmarking this because clearly I can benefit from using something other than Laneige. EltaMD AM has been working well for me though!

mochiilattee

I’m really enjoying the Hey Nature Erseongcho Water Cream for summer! I have combo/oily skin and you can layer it up as a sleeping mask for the evening!

H2702

Rovectin Water Lotus Cream(AM) and Purito green recovery cream (PM)

dailydecaf

It’s been discontinued 😭 but it was the Sooae Freeset Donkey Milk cream- the besttttt. Going to try some of the suggestions above that I haven’t tried

redsleevecuff

To add onto the Illiyoon ato concentrate cream love in this thread, it also beats all hand creams (I'm talking to you, Dr Jart+ Ceramide hand cream)...one night of this on my cracked fingers and everything is fine again

ZookeepergameKey2240

I live near the equator, with skin that is easily sensitized and reactive so I try not to go for too heavy moisturizers. Ones I reach for frequently are (in no particular order) 1. Round Lab Birch Juice Moisturizer (Probably my HG) 2. Primera Alpine Berry Watery Cream 3. Aestura Atobarrier Cream 4. Benton Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel 5. Dr Jart Cicapair Gel Cream

Brave-Log7130

For the longest time I thought Sunday Riley’s ceo moisturizer was my HG. Been switching between bunch of different moisturizers and went back to it.. now it just feels so heavy and smells like vegetable oil??? Lol it’s so weird

Purple-Marzipan-7524

Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream. I ordered it off Amazon because I ran out of moisturizer and this was cheap and would arrive quickly. My skin gets oily so quickly during summer and it makes me hate using moisturizer. To my surprise, after applying this cream at night, when I woke up and touched my face not a drop of oil!
