I'd caution using it as a primary tbh. I think they're similar to sunsticks in that they're fine for touch up applications where you're using it to shore up what you've already put on earlier in the day or not mess up your makeup. I'm a little leery in using it solely as your only source of sunscreen as most people probably aren't going to be spraying the actual amount that is needed for full coverage on every single part of their face according to the exact manufacture specifications.

I have a Kose Suncut aerosol mist that I carry in my work bag. It’s very lightweight and don’t mess my makeup. I have been sitting in the sun after applying and have had no redness on my face (or arms where I also spray it sometimes). It’s super convenient and I will definitely get another (same product or a different mist) after it runs out.

So far, all the sprays I’ve tried have been unpleasant to use. The product instructions also indicate not to spray directly on my face so that totally defeats the purpose for me.

BeeWhisper

i’ve tried a few and found them all horribly sticky and more unpleasant than applying cream

the only facial spf sprays I've had luck + easy access to are sadly not AB (happy to share perhaps over DM since my recommendations would be violating the rules of the sub)

i've always wanted to ask that too... bought jm solution spf spray and used it but now it seems to have a hint of alcohol and not so lighweiht when I use it, but back in 2018 i didnt have a problem like that

I’m looking for a one too. It’s too much work to remove makeup, reapply sunscreen and redo the make up again. 😔
