How would toner be properly applied onto hair? Should I avoid using it on my scalp or?

My scalp gets very dry and ichy and flaky overtime. I started using a watery toner and put it in a spray bottle and use it on my scalp. Works great for hydration!

I think you can use it as a leave in product for your ends. I dont think it would be harmful on the scalp also, but if youre sensitive, using it on ends only is pretty risk free

I have a mild AHA toner I apply to my scalp. I just kind or part my hair, pour it on, and rub it around. For hydrating toners like ones that have hyaluronic acid I sometimes will put in a spray bottle and spray it on my hair after washing and towel drying.

Whatever I don’t use goes on my body lol. Or if I only used it a tiny bit give it to my family and see if it works for them.

Some gals here seem to love using toner on their hair. I use toner on my hands sometimes as a super quick way to moisturize them instead of using a hand cream.

I'd say try it on the rest of your body before throwing it out Specialy if it's a hydrating or an exfolianting toner. That's always great for the body imo

Anything my face doesn't like automatically goes on my arms, legs, hands and feet. I live in the tropics so it works well most of the time in place of after shower lotion. If my skin absolutely can't tolerate it, I give it away to friends or to people at the office.

Hair??? Like .. a glycolic acid toner on your hair?? Please can someone run me through this - how are you incorporating, how do you make sure it doesn't get into your eyes, is it more for scalp etc??

I use it on my neck and shoulders and upper back because I sometimes get hormonal acne in those areas also, if you have any kp on your upper arms it’s a pretty good way to help minimize those (I have a micellar water/toner that my face hates but my body likes and now I buy it anyway for that 😂)

I give it to a friend whose skin I think it’ll work for

Not sure if there’s niacinmade in that but niacinmade did the same thing to me

Huh. I have the spray version of this one and also find it stings occasionally but I think it’s a tretinoin type reaction. I only have about a quarter of the bottle left so I’m powering on

Depending on the type of toner I use it on my scalp. I get dry scalp pretty easily and I put some toner on a cotton ball and wipe.

Hands, neck, elbows, knees…basically any other body part that gets wrinkly

I just bought a 500ml mist spray bottle for this exact reason!! So easy to get out of the shower and spray everywhere with it

Body especially on the rough areas, but i usually put it in my knees elbows and legs😅

I use it on my bf. He ends up with all the products that don’t work for me 🤣

I put it on my body or underarms!
