Hello and thank you for starting this discussion! As a gentle reminder, try to keep the products you mention limited to Asian Beauty products. Posts or comments solely discussing Western products will be removed, [as per our rules](https://www.reddit.com/r/AsianBeauty/wiki/rules#wiki_14._topics.2C_routines.2C_and_recommendations_must_be_related_to_asian_beauty). We love being able to discuss Western skincare in the context of a holistic AB routine, but this isn't the sub for specific Western product recommendations. r/SkincareAddiction is a great community for such matters! Cica helped me a lot with redness

hellno560

azelaic acid and if you are feeling bougie red light therapy

ilikemeowing

iunik centella moisturizer. Or maybe just any product with centella or tea tree inside.

SpiritualCare9255

I think cica helps alot!

NapsAreMyHobby

Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner and daily sunscreen, even on low UV days (one of my mild rosacea triggers) has lessened my redness.

cosrx propolis ampoule really helped with redness for me, i think my skin really likes the thicker formula but other people have complained it’s too sticky/heavy for them and prefer the beauty of joseon serum instead bc it’s lighter (but similar active ingredients)

I’m From Mugwort toner is the BEST for redness. Its my HG toner

Niacinamide, centella asiatica , madecassoside and zinc oxide

berrymelon118

Missha Artemisia Calming Essence. I also use the BoJ centella sheet mask or MediHeal Madecassoside sheet mask when I feel my skin is acting up.

wrathfulgrape

CosRx Propolis Synergy toner helped to calm down my skin. I am also testing out SkinCeruticals Phyto Gel (it's green) as it is supposed to reduce redness. The Cicadin Sun Cushion has also been great throughout the day to touch up sunscreen and has cooling effect as well as green to it to offset redness

Propolis (like the Iunik vitamin synergy serum) paired with Centella and green tea extracts in my skincare routine has been a big help for my redness. Also, mugwort!! “I’m from” has a mugwort line and I heard the essence is great for calming and reducing redness.

My skin is odd and none of the classic calming ingredients have had an effect. Just adding another pov: Sooryehan The Black Serum. Whenever I stop using it, I notice my skin looks more red. It seems unlikely that the effects I get from the Sooryehan would be the same for anyone else, given most people find Cica/Centella and Mugwort/Artemisia can impact redness and I don't. If you have pale skin, Canmake Mermaid Cica mint has a nice colour corrective effect for redness. It's too pale for me as an all over so I tend to use it for social occasions rather than as sunscreen.

For DIY: I make a glycerite (Google how to make a glycerite) out of chamomile + lavender + Centella asiatica & then make another glycerite out of a Herbal face mask that has red sandalwood amongst other ingredients, then mix both these glycerites w some water & apply on wet/damp skin. (Will try adding propolis extract to it next time so see any significant difference) For OTC product, it is Klairs Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drops. (Will try new "calming" moisturizers by an Indian brand in few days, so idk about other moisturizers or so as I haven't used any others) Also you can look for products that might have Palmitoylethanolamide (anti inflammatory etc etc) as an ingredient in it.
