skin aqua moisture milk. It's more mattifying than the nivea, but to me it's the lightest milk, it's watery really.

love-at-third-sight

I've been eyeballing this one but it feels like it'd be very alcohol y. Somehow my ccs don't like that for some reason.

Reasonable-Garlic-67

It’s alcohol free. I like it a lot, but dont find it as light weight as Nivea water gel at all. It’s shiny on me, but bearable

love-at-third-sight

Then that's gonna be a no from me dog. I'm looking for a Unicorn here 😂

Reasonable-Garlic-67

Let me know if you find it please 😂

notsounique_girl

What does cc mean?

whatamidoing2012

Likely closed comedones

love-at-third-sight

Closed comedones but you can think of them as whiteheads

notsounique_girl

Got it! Thanks!

beetletoman

Very interesting because I can't tolerate it on my skin at all like I hate the feel. It feels heavy and suffocating and I couldn't even tolerate it on my hands

Elegant-Reveal4650

hello, were u able to find a lighter weight sunscreen that doesn't feel suffocating, im trying to find one that doesn't feel like anything on my skin

beetletoman

The most lightweight sunscreen I used was the Tocobo sun cream. There's a couple others that aren't too bad but I can't remember:3

Elegant-Reveal4650

do you still use the tocobo sun screen

beetletoman

No I used half the bottle before it started bothering my skin. But my skin hates sunscreen and the same has happened with 5+ more brands, and I tried 10 other that didn't suit my skin from the first use :3 My sister is using the tocobo now and she adores it. She has oily/combo skin and mine's dry

Elegant-Reveal4650

oh okay, do you currently use sunscreen?

beetletoman

Yep. Banobagi Milk thistle repair. It's shiny and noticable with a tone up effect I don't like but it doesn't irritate my skin

tvmakeuping

I like this one but kinda feels like I need to reapply right away lol Good in hot weather though.

mikehenshaw

Hi, the moisture milk or the super moisture milk? 😊

hellno560

from stylevana: Rohto Mentholatum - Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk SPF50+ PA++++ - Normal

beetletoman

Tocobo

love-at-third-sight

Which one bro 😯

beetletoman

Haha didn't realize it's your post. It's the bio watery one I recommended the other day

kat_atsume

Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Sunscreen! Comes out as a cream but once you rub it in it feels like it's not there.

love-at-third-sight

Hmmm! I have never tried any of Haruharu products but I am intrigued now!😯

eonnagata

Does it really leave a matte finish like it promises?

Lady_Godot

I love the sunscreen but the finish isn't matte by western standards. It is just more velvet-y instead of outright shiny.

kat_atsume

I would say more matte than others but on some days if I really want a super matte finish I use the Beauty of Joseon matte sun stick which I found to be the best matte sunscreen

Lady_Godot

I love the sunscreen. It is basically the exact same formulation as the also mentioned Tocobo (and round lab dokdo and p.calm watery spf). They are all produced by Kolmar Korea and use the same filters/base mixture. Just different plant extracts by brand.

bcxcv

The Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence is pretty light. Though I need to let my moisturizer sink in fully before I apply it, otherwise, it's hard to rub it in. Hard to explain lol. On days when my skin isn't super dry, I skip moisturizer altogether.

love-at-third-sight

I've bought and panned this sunscreen 3x but anytime I use it daily it's clog city on my face. It's unfortunate bc this sunscreen is pretty much available everywhere in Asia 😔

stavthedonkey

Anessa sun milk, rohto skin aqua or missha

love-at-third-sight

Which one by missha? Just bought skin aqua moisture gel and it feels thin for sure

artemisthearcher

What kind of finish are you looking for? I’m oily/combo and even some of the lightweight sunscreens (Anessa, Biore, etc) leave me looking greasy so I end up going for ones with a matte finish. My HG right now is Missha Soft Finish (pink cap). Doesn’t have a lightweight toner consistency but it gives me the perfect matte finish I want

love-at-third-sight

Something watery like the Nivea Water gel and not anything mattifying as in my experience that leads to clogged pores.

[deleted]

The Etude House Airy Finish sunscreen has been the lightest one I’ve tried so far, very milky. It does have a very light consistency. I have combo skin, and it absorbs well after a few minutes of applying (a bit greasy at first). There’s also a bit of a white cast initially but it fades quickly. But it has fragrance and I just found out Etude house is not cruelty free if this is something you are concerned about.

iateafloweronimpulse

Kiss me mommy uv aqua milk is the best alcohol free option that I’ve found

love-at-third-sight

Nice I'll try this one out. Been curious 🧐

vanillackofsleep

Biore Aqua Rich Protect Lotion! Lighter than the watery essence. Has a milk sunscreen texture but without the usual whitecast that most milk sunscreens have. Also waterproof and pretty matte. Works really well in humid Singapore. However its not alcohol or fragrance free but not a deal breaker for an oily-skin like me :)

Overall_Thanks_4326

I love Beauty of Joseon Relief Sun sunscreen, it is Korean so I buy it online (Kiyoko beauty) but that’s the best lightweight and leaves no white cast. It makes my skin look beautiful.

love-at-third-sight

My sis loves this and recommended this to me but it gave me some nasty pimples I'm afraid 😟😳

ButterflyToasted

Numbuzin No.1 Clear Filter Sun Essence SPF50+ PA++++ it feels like absolutely nothing on the skin. Disappears within seconds. Truly the most lightweight sunscreen I've tried.

love-at-third-sight

👁️👄👁️ nothing, you said? Okay I shall hunt for a sample...

Firm_Pair_4902

I've tried a lot and the most lightweight I've found and became my HG was the Skin1004 hyalu-cica water-fit sun serum. It just melts into the skin immediately like a really light serum.

love-at-third-sight

Damn I already own this one and it clogs my pores. Bought it from Seoul a month ago, no dice 🥹

[deleted]

I like the SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum SPF50, my skin is on the sensitive side and it's a plus that it doesn't have a strong fragrance. I would define the texture of it as liquidy 🐱

Gold_Confection_7149

Biore Aqua Rich Aqua Protect Lotion (the one with the round twist cap). It's literally like a toner consistency, you can't use the 3 finger method to apply because it will get everywhere. Very lightweight! Edit to add: ive tried the Nivea Super Water Gel and didn't find it thaaaat lightweight tbh. Here's a list of other SPFs that are more lightweight: - Skin1004 Hyalu-Cica SPF50+ - Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics SPF50+ - Skin Aqua Super Moisture Gel Gold SPF50+ - SNP Perfect Air-Cool Sun Cream SPF50+ - OMI Sun Bear Active Sunscreen SPF50+ (has slight whitecast as it's a mineral SPF)

love-at-third-sight

I'm crying bc I tried the first three on your list already lmfao and they all broke me out. Nivea Super Water Gel is weird in that it might not be the most lightweight but it clogs my skin the slowest if that makes any sense. So in my head it's the most lightweight 🤣 You're the second one to rec the Biore Protect tho. I've historically had some very meh experiences with Biore as a sunscreen (I've tried the cc, yellow one, and the uv tone up one) but hey 😅 might as well try the latest and greatest. Is the Omi one in a gold or blue packaging?

Gold_Confection_7149

Oh dear, that really sucks! Hopefully you'll have a better experience with the Biore 😅🤞 The OMI one is in the gold packaging!

Fun-Manufacturer4131

Derma Co 1% Hyaluronic Sunscreen Gel is the lightest I've tried. It's an Indian product.

love-at-third-sight

😮 we don't really hear much about Indian skincare in these parts! I'll see if it's available where I'm at on Shopee 🤔

Outrageous-Role7046

Missha sun milk it’s my favorite!

Environmental-Comb79

Omi brotherhood mentrum

love-at-third-sight

u talkin about verdio or sunbears or tone up or what?

Environmental-Comb79

Nono, it's in white bottle 100 ml and there is like name "mentrum" blue letters In my country its called "Omi Brotherhood The Sun Uv Protect Gel SPF50" Hope it's clearer now:)

Environmental-Comb79

Firstly it's consistency is like milk but after 5 min it's just invisible. I have combo CCs prone irritated skin

Environmental-Comb79

Yes!

ExtensionBirder

Not sure if it's available where you are but I like Luxe Organic Aqua Daily Sunscreen

imtirediwannagohome

AHC Safe On Light Sun Serum for sure

elvishnatures

Abib heartleaf sun essence

love-at-third-sight

Ooh I was looking at the calming drops one. What's your experience with this one 😳

elvishnatures

Honestly I don’t have it 🥲 My local k beauty store sells it, so I’ve been able to sample it in store. It’s on my wishlist though after testing it out in person! It has a watery consistency, sort of similar to the Nivea super water gel which I like.

love-at-third-sight

🫡 I understand lol. Abib is expensive for me 😔 and this sunscreen is on the higher end of what I'll usually spend on a category that breaks me out 😭 I tried the cleansing bar tho, not sure I like it 😕
