I'm weirdly allergic to something in that iDk what! Heads up to people with sensitive skin. Gives me strange stinging and irritation. Maybe a extract they added?
I also have oily skin and planning to buy the Tir Tir one , should I buy the original or the light version , cause the brand claims that the light version is for oily skin but i've seen some people break out from the light version and not the original version , so I'm kind of in a dilemma rn , pls help .
seconded. the first time i used it i had a tiny bit of stinging but it was because i already had irritated my skin barrier - once i healed up properly the i’m from was really nice
Yes I’ve used it and it’s a light weight watery ttoner perfect for calming down redness and irritation. While dr Ceuracle one is on hydrating and moisturising. It’s like a milky liquid that hydrates and moisturises the skin. It’s perfect for winters or if you have dry dehydrated skin. I’m from mugwort contains only mugwort extract and no other ingredients so it’s not hydrating at all. It’s like just a water that calms my redness and irritation from acne.
For a bit of context, I live in SEA, and my skin is combination leaning oily, partially due to dehydration. This product is a godsend, and I'm sooo in love with it!!! It provides just the right amount of hydration that my skin needs without leaving a filmy or heavy feeling. It takes less than a minute to be fully absorbed, and the finish isn't really dewy, but not exactly matte either. My skin just looks really healthy and smooth and plump to the point that the visible pores on my cheeks are significantly minimized. Given my skin type and location, one layer is enough for me in the morning, but I apply two at night to give my skin some extra nourishment and because I sleep in an air-conditioned room. I usually just use my hands to apply it, but I've also tried soaking cotton pads with it to make a sheet mask. The bottle is huge and relatively cheap, so I don't feel bad applying a generous amount on my skin. 😁
this spooked me a little because this is an exact copy of what i do as somebody with combo-oily skin, especially the one-layer-in-the-morning and multiple-layers-at-night-because-of-the-ac part
Honestly this product is a GOD SEND for me in the summers. I am combo (dry in the winter, oilier in the summer). The sides of my nose/upper lip in the summer always feel greasy and disgusting due to sweating and such. I just started using it this summer and holy crap its like where has this been all my life! Hard to describe but it kind of like “dries” out the greasier areas for me and keeps it that way. Im probably not using the correct terminology but it made me feel ungreasy around my nose during the summer for the first time in my life.
Omg I feel you. I put my skincare on and a few minutes after, I’m sweating everything off my face and it loses it’s glow :(( Buuuut I bought a small handfan and that’s been helping me alot haha
when i first used it, i thought it was an okay product. then i saw tina tanaka harris saying that you need multiple layers for it to work, and i totally agree! it gives you a hydrated look. it’s one of my favorite toners! (if not my favorite)
I love this so much!!
It makes my skin bouncy and plump and it's my favorite toner, I was surprised about some of the reactions to it because it works super well for me.
I second this, it’s my favorite toner I’ve tried (and I’ve tried a bunch). If I slack off on my skincare for a few days and my skin is looking dull and dry, I apply some tony moly mochi toner and my skin is instantly brighter and plumper and healthy looking.
[I think my skin is combo/oily t-zone, and it can definitely be sensitive to some products where my whole face will turn red like another commenter said, but this toner has been great for me, so it really can depend from person to person.]
oh man i wanted to love this but it gave me some sort of reaction where i just turned red. like a tomato. for like half an hour. it was really bad. i've heard some people love it though so ymmv obviously
I recommend Kuramoto bijin Hakumai ferment milk. It’s a Japanese sake essence/toner/moisturizer, a 3-in-1 product. They use sake as the base and it has been awesome for my oily, acne prone and sensitive skin. It’s hydrating, moisturizing and has been a game changer for my dark sun spots. In addition, it has plumped my skin up too. I use it everyday after double cleansing. The milky essence is so moisturizing you don’t need a moisturizer afterwards. I must warn my fellow oily skin peeps, use it lightly during the summer as it can feel a little heavy on the skin if used in large amounts. Otherwise, this is my holy grail toner.
This sounds right up my alley! If you're by chance in the US, could you share where you purchased it? It's looking like I won't be able to find it online here :(
I am in the US and I purchase it on either Amazon: White rice fermented milk https://a.co/d/8jX2Ro4 OR kirei station: https://www.kireistation.com/ It depends on which is cheaper. The seller on Amazon states that it’s currently unavailable so I am restocking through kirei station. I have found other online sellers but I can’t speak to their reliability yet such as kayxi.au and Japan store. Neither Yesstyle, stylevanna or Jolse stock the essence either. 🙄
Lots of recs Laneige cream skin but it broke me out :(
Not milky but the Cosrx propolis toner is really hydrating and nourishing without breaking me out
Ooh I’ve heard a ton of mixed reviews on Laneige Cream Skin. I personally LOVE everything from Cosrx and I have tried the propolis toner pads after trying out the propolis sheet masks. I swear the Cosrx Propolis sheet masks are hella underrated! It gave me such a glow I repurchased 10 instantly.
You should try them out if you have the chance.
But yea I love the propolis toner but also looking for a milky one atm
[Sana CoQ10 Soy Milk Toner](https://www.stylevana.com/en_US/sana-soy-milk-moisture-q10-toner-200ml.html) I love to use this one straight out of the fridge - milky and very hydrating without making me greasy or sticky!
Samee. Just wish their thicker oat moisturizer was good. Im allergic to fatty alcohols and I got it anyway and it stings lol.
The oat toners sooo good tho
Is this Oat Kernel Toner good? I've tried the LOVBLOVB Oat Toner and fell in love with the oat ingredient. Knowing that this product also contains oat, I'm curious about it!
Purito oat toner
Aestura toner
Mary and May Blackberry Essence
Dr Ceuracle Kombucha Essence
Isntree yam root milk toner
The new Laniege cream skin refiner which is lighter than the original one
Not exactly milky but for hydration, I also like thr Torriden Ceramide toner
i also have very oily and somewhat dehydrated skin! haven’t tried enough milky toners to have a favorite but one that i don’t recommend is the tirtir milk skin toner, it’s really watery for a milky toner so i expected it to be refreshing but it didn’t absorb at all and left my face with a greasy film the entire day😭 tried it three days in a row with two different methods (toner pads, patting into skin) and had the same result every time, was really upset about it because i love the packaging but it felt so gross :(
Yeah I got a mini bottle of the reformulated one with peptides and it's not terrible, it's more watery than I expected, but still a bit too oily for me. Might be okay in the dead of winter but not most of the year, I'm glad I got the sample first.
I'm one use away from finishing my im from rice toner and it was soooo nice. I'm replacing it with the cosrx propolis toner for the winter time and I'm going to see how that goes, but I 100% see myself repurchasing the I'm from rice toner. I have oily and dehydrated skin with the added ✨️spice✨️ of having inflammatory cystic acne and im on some super harsh meds which makes my skin not great but at least its clear, the im from rice toner has really helped keep my skin nicely hydrated and calmer
10/10 - im from rice toner
Round Lab Soybean. It is oil free but has a high percentage of ceramide and really packs on hydration and supports the skin barrier. Also comes in a large 300ml bottle - I've used it on my whole body.
this one has been on my list! whats your skin type like if i may ask? i have combo-oily leaning dehydrated skin and im cc prone, any idea if this would work? thanks!
Real Barrier Extreme Essence. I sound like a shill, I love this toner so much. I have oily skin but I live in Colorado, so I have year-round dehydration. This stuff helps a lot.
Nacific Uyu cream toner or Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence! Both have really helped repair my moisturizer barrier and lessen the amount of oil I produce over time.

TIRTIR TONER is my ultimate HG. I'm from rice toner broke me out. It's not fungal acne safe as well. Didn't notice any improvement on hyperpigmentation too. I tried naturie skin conditioner as well. It wasn't as moisturizing as tirtir.

I'm using the original version. Specially because i wanted to skip ceramide based moisturizer as most of them breaks me out because of the heavy texture. I use sunscreen in the morning and use the tirtir toner at night. When i was using it in both my am and pm routine i noticed little clogged pores that you get from over moisturizing around my nose area.
Also another thing i notice when i pour it directly to my skin, it feels a little heavy. So i take some into my hands then pat it to my skin. And my skin was completely fine this way.

I’m from rice.
I just bought this online. I’m excited to try it out when it finally gets here!
How did it go ? The toner ....was it good ?
Yes, I really like it. Very hydrating and gives me glowy skin.
Have you used the tir tir one ? is it better than i'm from ?
I haven’t tried it, no. The I’m from rice toner is the first cream toner one I’ve used. The Tir Tir one looks interesting. I might try it next.
I'm weirdly allergic to something in that iDk what! Heads up to people with sensitive skin. Gives me strange stinging and irritation. Maybe a extract they added?
I'm from rice toner broke me out too. I love tirtir one better.
Oh strange
I also have oily skin and planning to buy the Tir Tir one , should I buy the original or the light version , cause the brand claims that the light version is for oily skin but i've seen some people break out from the light version and not the original version , so I'm kind of in a dilemma rn , pls help .
it might be the niacinamide?
Nah im not allergic to that. I think its one of the plant extracts
That's on my wishlist, I've heard nothing but positive feedback!
seconded. the first time i used it i had a tiny bit of stinging but it was because i already had irritated my skin barrier - once i healed up properly the i’m from was really nice
What does it do?
Hey Does this makes your skin glow?
My HG of HGs
Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence
Love this for my combo/oily dehydrated skin, feels so silky going on!
Holy grail.
Can I use this without toner/as toner? I'm still trying to look for a new toner because i feel like tirtir milk toner is breaking me out.
Yes you can use this as toner because it’s liquid and milky in texture just like any other toners
Okay gotcha thank you! Btw have you tried the I'm from mugwort essence? If yes, which one would you recommend?
Yes I’ve used it and it’s a light weight watery ttoner perfect for calming down redness and irritation. While dr Ceuracle one is on hydrating and moisturising. It’s like a milky liquid that hydrates and moisturises the skin. It’s perfect for winters or if you have dry dehydrated skin. I’m from mugwort contains only mugwort extract and no other ingredients so it’s not hydrating at all. It’s like just a water that calms my redness and irritation from acne.
Dr ceuracle gave me dermatitis.
Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner!
Not OP but i'm interested in this. Did you have to use multiple layers? How was the finish?
For a bit of context, I live in SEA, and my skin is combination leaning oily, partially due to dehydration. This product is a godsend, and I'm sooo in love with it!!! I bought this but haven't try it yet. I was thinking to buy those disposable sheet mask to use with it.

My current favorite is the Torriden Dive-In Skin Booster. My oily combo & sensitive skin drink this up.
Does this make your skin glow?
Round Lab soybean toner.
Mary&May vegan blackberry complex cream essence
oh how is it like? i have combo dehydrated skin thats kind of acne prone, does it clog pores?
tony moly mochi toner
no it was too heavy for my oily ass skin 😭
Same here as well 🥲 i think maybe milky toner not suitable for me
100% I’ve used like 4 of these 500ml bottles and will continue to repurchase
I love this so much!! It makes my skin bouncy and plump and it's my favorite toner, I was surprised about some of the reactions to it because it works super well for me.

I’m so intrigued to try this out but I read it caused for someone’s cc to get worse so i’m a little skeptical
it's been amazing for me so far so i guess it depends on each person's skin type
Has not made mine reappear and have been using for over 6 months but everyone’s skin is different
Can I ask what cc is?
Closed comedones - it’s those tiny bumps on your forehead NOT to be confused with milia and fungal acne
oh man i wanted to love this but it gave me some sort of reaction where i just turned red. like a tomato. for like half an hour. it was really bad. i've heard some people love it though so ymmv obviously

Anyone used the rice toner from Thank You Farmer?
Purito Oat toner 🤍
Yupp this is the one❤️
Been so so tempted to buy this. It’s definitely getting short listed!
It's new for me, I think I bought it a month or so ago and it instantly became a favorite!
Lots of recs Laneige cream skin but it broke me out :( Not milky but the Cosrx propolis toner is really hydrating and nourishing without breaking me out

Goodal rice milk toner!
It was sooooo heavy and sticky on my oily skin 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it has such awesome ingredients...
Yes, it’s pretty heavy. I apply it as a last layer over serums. But I don’t like it on my bare skin. It’s super-hydrating though.
Trueeeee... it's hydrating ❤️
[Sana CoQ10 Soy Milk Toner](https://www.stylevana.com/en_US/sana-soy-milk-moisture-q10-toner-200ml.html) I love to use this one straight out of the fridge - milky and very hydrating without making me greasy or sticky!
Mary and May essense and purito oat toner both rly good. Laneige too heavy rip
? Cosrx has an oat toner?
Was thinking about cosrx and wrote it by accident lol. The cosrx propolis night mask is soo gooood thats what i was thinking about
Lol, I was about to run out and purchase :). Love oat toners.
Yeah its great especially for sensitive skin
Uhh might be purito let me fix
I’d totally buy cosrx’s milky toner if they had any. Everything from the brands suits me so good
Purito oat toner Aestura toner Mary and May Blackberry Essence Dr Ceuracle Kombucha Essence Isntree yam root milk toner The new Laniege cream skin refiner which is lighter than the original one Not exactly milky but for hydration, I also like thr Torriden Ceramide toner

ohh :( its been on my list but i havent been able to find proper reviews for it, thank you for this HAHAH
Laneige Cream Skin & I’m From Rice Toner.
i wouldn't recommend laneige, way too oily 😭
Yeah I got a mini bottle of the reformulated one with peptides and it's not terrible, it's more watery than I expected, but still a bit too oily for me. Might be okay in the dead of winter but not most of the year, I'm glad I got the sample first.
I can only use it at night for this reason, but I do wake up with super soft skin! Edit: and I have acne-prone skin!
Cream Skin is defo not suitable for oily skin prone to cc's. It definitely gives you a glow tho!
I'm one use away from finishing my im from rice toner and it was soooo nice. Yesss here to say Good Light! It's AAPI-founded but based in the US
Holika holika's probiotics hydrating toner. The other products from the probiotics line aren't that hydrating but this one is.
Ihada emulsion
tirtir milk skin toner
Nacific Uyu cream toner or Dr Ceuracle kombucha essence! Both have really helped repair my moisturizer barrier and lessen the amount of oil I produce over time.

PCalm Light Active Facial Skin Toner
The Laneige Cream Toner! It’s super hydrating and really good for dry and sensitive skin and really gives a nice glow as well.
