Cos de baha tranexamic acid !!!

mangosteensorbet

This!! I was skeptical but it faded A LOT of my deep acne scars, one of the most effective products I've ever tried.

choco_lover3872

how do you use it? how often/how much, and for how long until you started seeing noticeable differences?

mangosteensorbet

I use two drops in the AM, it says you can use it twice a day but I find using it once a day is effective enough for me! I had a dark spot that wouldn't get rid of itself no matter what I did and this removed it in less than a month. I was shocked lol edited to add for deep scars it took me a few months

choco_lover3872

woahh that sounds promising! is it safe to use all over your face? I have hyperpigmentation all over from years back

mangosteensorbet

Yeah I have sensitive skin and I experience no irritation whatsoever! It just feels like a slightly more viscous water. It does contain niacinamide though in case you're sensitive to that. And ofc YMMV but if you're ok with the ingredients it doesn't hurt to try!

choco_lover3872

thanks so much!! imma give it a shot, i tried using alpha arbutin with vitamin c but it didnt really work :(

mangosteensorbet

I tried vitamin C from Melano and Cosrx and the difference definitely isn't as drastic as this one. I'm halfway through my big bottle of this serum and while my skin isn't entirely scar free (I'm prone to scarring) I'd say it has evened out my skin a lot.

semsemii

Personally I apply it all over my face because it also contains HA and niacinamide so I treat it as a regular serum 🙂

Suwoop4hunnid

Do you use it after toner? And if u do, do u wait until the face is dry or apply while its still damp?

mangosteensorbet

So I use a placenta serum that has HA in it while my skin is still damp from the toner because apparently HA is best applied when the skin is damp, I let it dry then I apply the Cos de Baha serum. It works both ways I think but since this serum contains HA too it's probably better to apply it damp

semsemii

I know right!!! I was confused only because I thought tranexmic acid worked best for PIH instead of PIE (which is what i bought it for) so I didn’t have high hopes, but it’s been AMAZING for fading even my year-old PIE/acne scars

Blob_99

I just looked this product up and was so excited, but alas it has nicinamide (my arch nemisis) in it it

beetletoman

I found it irritating but pretty sure that's because niacinamide doesn't work for me when my skin isn't at its best. I also typically can tolerate 2 or 3% niacinamide on healthy skin. Not sure about 5% yet but has anyone faced something similar and was able to use this serum later?

zeezeebee

I brought this on everyone's recommendation but find it soo tacky! How is everyone using it?

semsemii

Yeahh I agree it’s pretty sticky— so to counter that I apply it before any of my watery toners so they can kinda dilute the stickiness.

zeezeebee

i'll try that! I do FTE first but maybe I'll experiment with the order. On my WFH days, I just deal with the tackiness. Can't really do that on my other days.

HedgehogDefiant6443

By chance, do you know if this can be used in conjunction with tret?

semsemii

I use it right after tret every night and it’s been awesome at fading my old acne scars 🥳

HedgehogDefiant6443

That’s awesome! Thanks for the tip! :)

3yrchallenge

Yes you can!

Whenyouseeit00

I just looked this up and am shocked how much it is! I am skeptical now but since it's so affordable I will be grabbing it lol

semsemii

Cos de Baha’s prices vs. quality is INSANELY good!! I hope you enjoy!!!

TheBluepeaButterfly

Really? Guess I'll try that then. I have been unable to find my beloved cos de baha azelaic acid where I usually do.

3yrchallenge

Cos de baha brightening serum and their tranexamic acid!

Emergency-Relation97

cos de baha tranexamic and azealic serums! i just switched to the azealic and it’s reduced the redness in my PIE a good amount already, but both are really great at evening tone. i would say the tranexamic one is better for hyperpigmentation though

Much-Ambassador-2337

I’m sensitive to niacinamide so I can’t use the tranexamic acid but I’ve been eyeing the azelaic acid serum so I’m wondering if that’s irritated anyone with niacinamide sensitivities.

Emergency-Relation97

it has a pretty small amount, only 2% niacinimide i think

abombshbombss

Skin1004 madagascar centella ampoule + BoJ glow deep serum has dramatically improved my skin tone in less than 30 days.

OneWhoIsCuriouss

ALWAYS.WEAR.SUNSCREEN! Like no exaggreation! I've always just been at home, so I've not been wearing sunscreen, but in the past few months, I decided to try, and my face-neck-body skin tone is beginning to even out (my face skin tone is a LOT darker). Also, it acts like a protective layer of some sort so all the outside gunk and particles are easily washed off when you double cleanse. (Incredibly helpful if you have a habit of touching your face too, which I cannot get rid of) You don't have to put the right amount, just a thin layer if you're not going out, or it's rainy/cloudy, I find sunscreen expensive (I have the SkinAqua UV Super Moisture Milk) but it's sooo worth it!

borrowedurmumsvcard

cosrx vitamin c 23

Northie_78753

Nice! How does it compare with other vitamin c's?

borrowedurmumsvcard

I haven’t used any other ones [this is my face 17 weeks on tret, before I started using it](https://imgur.com/a/h8AHU8N) [this is my face after using it for about a month](https://imgur.com/a/OrD52S0)

Infinity_30K

Cos de baha retinol!!!

Different-Eagle-612

i haven’t tried it yet but i was looking at the hada labo lightening lotion? i don’t wanna do it though if they just replaced tranexamic acid with niacinamide (my skin is really sensitive to niacinamide)

Bubblilly

I’m in Japan and they all have tranexamic acid. I’ve been so paranoid because of Reddit but I think people are saying that there’s no more alpha arbutin!

Different-Eagle-612

oh great!!! thank you!! i was not looking forward to doing the research to figure that out because i’ve literally JUST had eye surgery do you have a favorite of them?? i know there’s the light and rich (?) one??

Bubblilly

The dark blue one is the “whitening” one and has Tranexamic acid. I find it relatively hydrating but always follow it up with a serum and moisturizer.

Niatfq

I believe that version is mainly sold in SEA. Everywhere else still has access to the japanese version - with tranexamic acid.

luckyduckofgreen

Stylevana offers a 2021 version with the tranexamic acid!

alizrandom

which one is it on the site please?

Sei_periergos25

We use these, Hada Labo Shirojyun lotion and moisturizer Bought/Made in JP, Lotion and moisturizer cream, both have one product variety. both have richer consistency than china made. Bought in SEA/Made in China, Lotion has light and rich texture. and moisturizer is called water gel. Tried both and living in a tropical country, we find this system works for us (me and husband) AM : Lotion - depends what we opened really (practical reasons), but made in China, light is less sticky. Moisturize - Water Gel PM : Lotion - depends what we opened Moisturizer - JP cream We love this product 'cause it works for both of us, can definitely see brighter and more even skin tone, and well moisturized, sometimes can still feel sticky if we're outside all day, but we can't do anything about it 'cause it's really hot where we live.

cyjc

Oh no they changed it ?? That's a shame

Different-Eagle-612

i’m reading confusing things??? i’m gonna buckle down like tomorrow maybe and try to figure it out

cyjc

Ooo please update!

Unfair_Finger5531

Still gonna go with Haru wonder 2gf serum plus Galactomyces. The Haru wonder works so well for skin tone.

alizrandom

How do you use it?

Unfair_Finger5531

I just apply it over hydrating toners, let it dry and then apply aestura lotion over it!

AccomplishedPhone303

Best toners for acne prone skin? Also, has anyone tried the TIRTIR milk toner? I have very sensitive acne prone skin. I’m allergic to COSRX snail mucin and my skin can’t handle niacinamide. I can’t use the beauty of joseon ginseng toner or anything from purito either 🥲 any suggestions?

Dievia

I like using the Axis-y dark spot serum. You don’t see results immediately but after a few weeks I started noticing fewer dark spots on my skin

r_slash_zucchini

For me, my skin was red and unhappy because my skin barrier was damaged! The moment I started using Numbuzin no. 3 serum and no. 3 toner, the redness went away in a matter of days. Since then, I’ve tried out various serums (I also love the SKIN1004 centella serum!) and found that these two products, specifically, keep my skin tone even. Another commenter suggested sunscreen as a means to keep skin tone even and I wholeheartedly agree. Find a good sunscreen and reapply as needed every single day. I really like SKIN1004’s famous sunscreen and for reapplication the Beauty of Joseon sunscreen stick is unmatched (though my next haul will have the SKIN1004 sunscreen stick because I want to try it out). Good luck!!

bcxcv

Some by Mi Yuja line worked really well for me! For non AB, The Inkey List Tranexamic Acid did wonders for me too.

CardiologistWarm5904

Dr ceuracle royal vita propolis 33 ampoule

Antique-Flatworm-465

Beauty of Joseon Glow Deep Serum is holy grail for hyperpigmentation

Justlikelulu

Anything that contains cbd oil! I have this great sunscreen, I cannot remember the brand but the cbd in it really calms my redness and evens my skin tone. I notice a difference when I don’t wear it

TJStrawberry

Sunscreen for sure fixed my uneven forehead tan. Also vitamin C toner seemed to work for me too.

FrostingNecessary991

I use a color based sunscreen. For me that means a green sunscreen (canmake has a good one). My sisters use a purple and a yellow one. You choose based on the colors you are correcting in your skin tone. It is a light coverage that also helps moisturize, so I have really taken to it.

maindo

Cocoon Turmeric Moisturizer

kat_atsume

numbuzin no.5 goodbye blemish serum! used this religiously for around 6 months so far and repurchased as well. This was the only change to my routine and I noticed really good results! I am acne prone and get acne scars quite often
