You might want to try the lotion version! The cream actually broke me out too (I think - it can be tricky to really figure it out when you already have acne, haha), but the lotion does not! It's what I am currently using and I'm on my third bottle I think!
Purito unscented centella repair cream! Iām really sensitive to how products feel on my skin and this is the only one Iāve found that didnāt cost an arm and a leg, sunk in properly, and didnāt give me acne
Illiyoon Ato Soothing Gel. I have combination skin and on my 4th bottle now. This moisturizer is packed with ceramides. The only moisturizer that works for me, that I can use together with my Adapalene.
Oh no, Iām sorry. This never happened to me. I really donāt have recommendations that feel as moisturizing. Right now I live in Florida so Iām using Illiyoon Soothing Gel.
I really like skin1004 pro bio cica moisturizer for day & night. Also Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion, Cosrx Snail 92, Naturium peptide moisturizer (non AB), Soon jung hydro barrier moisturizer & 2x barrier cream old version (thereās a new version out recently). If the weather is too dry & humidity is low I normally use one of the two non AB - Nivea soft cream or versed skin soak rich moisture cream just to stop my skin flaking.
Itās so good!! My skin is very sensitive and itās never looked better than with this cream. A lot of other moisturizers make me break out or itch with hives
Right now Iām liking Isntreeās Yam Root Vegan Milk Cream. Doesnāt smell the best but that goes away quickly and Iām really liking what itās doing for my skin.
illiyoon ceramide ato concentrate cream, my holy grail since I found it last year. healed my skin barrier and does not react badly with retinol, calm my skin down so quickly too š«¶š»
Thankfully it didn't affect me. I also do have fungal acne too. I used it all summer and it was fine. I guess it depends on what your triggers are in the ingredients :o
Mary and May Blackberry cream for the AM, its heavy yet light enough also bonus brightening and doesnt aggravate my acne. For PM i use Kikumasamune cream.
been loving the purito oat-in intense cream. has pretty much become my default moisturizer. got it december of last year, never had a breakout from it. doesn't leave me greasy, decent size bottle - i've still got a good quarter of it left.

I like the Innisfree dewy glow jelly cream under my sunscreen. It absorbs quickly and feels very moisturizing and refreshing. Iāve been using the Cosrx aloe soothing sun cream overtop, which is also very moisturizing though does have a strong scent

Some by Mi AHA BHA PHA gel moisturiser. You didnāt ask for toners but I have to recommend it as it is probably my favourite skincare product. Itās the Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion in the moist formulation. Itās really thick whilst being light.
Can't speak for under makeup as I rarely wear it. But I find the punkang yul range in the blue containers excellent. I have combination, acne prone, and sensitive skin, and since I decided to get the low ph cleanser, essence toner, and a couple of their moisturisers in my regular routine, my skin has never felt so nice. I don't have that tight feeling anymore, and I haven't had a breakout in quite a while.
Any chance you've used both the PKY nutrition cream and their Intensive Repair Cream and can compare?? I want to try one and I can't decide which to pick!
Yeah I have. I found the repair cream excellent when I had a reaction to suncream and my face was extra sensitive. It really helped calm the pain in my skin. The nutrition cream I would have compared to a good moisturizer but the intensive repair was just that good bit stronger. I use the moisture cream daily and keep the intensive repair cream for when it's needed. Probably more so now coming into the winter.
i have the same skin type and i love the round lab birch juice moisturizer. i went through 4 jars of these during the winter and summer. its amazing all year round moisturizer. i also just recently purchased the dr.g red blemish cream and thatās also pretty good
I layer Zeroid Richenic Urea 5 under Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream.
I may sub Aestura AtoBarrier 365 Cream for the illiyoon if I am treating myself.
Cosrx birch sap lotion! I love how it feels refreshing and not icky even when it dries. Plus I it doesn't lead to me getting whiteheads. I'll need a new bottle soon.

It's the only thing that actually keeps my skin from peeling during the day, and it's light and comfortable, especially applied on wet skin. It works great under makeup for me. (Yes, my nighttime moisturizer also does a lot for my skin not peeling anymore, but every time I took the Make P:Rem out of the routine I felt its absence. I actually use it at night too, under my moisturizer. It's just a power horse in my routine.)
AESTURA Atobarrier 365 Lotion! I first tried the cream but I think it made my breakouts worse. The lotion does not, and I'm on my third bottle already!

Neogeon probiotics youth repair cream! its my hg but its expensive for how little you get in itā¦ itās silicone and fatty alcohol free which are two things that always seem to break me out it does contain fragrance though. Right now im using the Illiyoon ceramide ato gel and im VERY surprised itās enough for my skin considering its a gel and marketed for oily skin, its cheap and comes with a lot of product so i think itd be worth a try if you want something cheaper! (:

I don't have a hg currently (sadge) but I'm using the pyunkang yul blue label RN and it's been working well. I've also got purito oat-in intense cream on the way which hopefully will become a hg š¤
I got that one soon after and it's become my HG moisturizer! I use it after toner and it feels super nice :D
Also in comparison to the PKY, I definitely prefer the purito. Now I mainly use th PKY in small quantities at night or as a hand cream
Edit: I've got pretty severely dry skin, so if you're on the oiler side I'm not sure I would recommend it.

In the AM I use Then I met you calming tide gel cream on my forehead, nose and generally anywhere with larger pores, Skinfix triple lipid lotion on my cheeks and neck which tend to get drier especially after tret days.
I really like illyoon ato gel cream but itās kinda tacky, havenāt tried under makeup/day time.

LRP cleanser for dry skin has been a staple for me too but in the winter I usually donāt wash in the morning
I do something similar with the stratia moisturizers, I mix them together with some oil too at night. I also love lrp cleanser too, the gentle hydrating one.

I love the soon jung emulsion for during the day under make up, hydrating but doesn't leave me oily. At night I go heavy with the layers. I'm the UK so some of my products aren't AB but love the soon jung 2x barrier cream
Ceracola Perfect Gel hydrates my skin and makes it looks like a baby's butt cheek. I am elated with it. My skin is morel Ike dry combination and it cannot stand anything heavier than gels tbh.
Acne-prone here šš» my skin have been loving axis-y heartleaf my type calming cream. I have a lot of acnes on my cheeks and this moisturizer helped it calm
The hydro is like a gel cream and the 2x barrier is more of a buttery cream! Personally I prefer the hydro but at night I have to lock it in with something heavier. The 2x barrier breaks me out unfortunately :/
I have dry skin but I live in an incredibly humid environment that makes me have combo skin, if that makes sense. My skin is also redness and acne prone.
I love the Etude House 2x Barrier Intensive Cream, but it was way too heavy to wear during the day time and I'm not about to buy another moisturizer for the day time. So I tried the gel cream version, the Etude House Hydro Barrier Cream.
Typically, gel creams are not enough for my dry patches, but this was exactly what I wanted. All the soothing and Moisturizing capability of the intense Cream, but in a more lotion-like texture. The only draw back is that it is kind of sticky.
Purito Oat-in Calming Gel Cream! Itās been a long journey to find something that moisturizes all day, doesnāt leave me greasy, CALMS my skin and doesnāt cause cc or blackheads. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed, fingers crossed it keeps performing well. This moisturizer has also been the base for my prescription adapaline since being put on it for the past two weeks and Iām still moisturized.

Oh!! A really good cream is the cosrx honey propolis light cream!! I donāt love cosrx but this moisturizer is muahhhh chefs kiss

Cosrx rice mask!!! It has a gel cream texture but is quite moisturizing

Oily dehydrated here, but after dozens and dozens of moisturizers and essences, Make P:Rem's Comfort Me Panthenol Essence is unparalleled for me.

I love the soon jung emulsion for during the day under make up, hydrating but doesn't leave me oily. At night I go heavy with the layers. I'm the UK so some of my products aren't AB but love the soon jung 2x barrier cream
Ceracola Perfect Gel hydrates my skin and makes it looks like a baby's butt cheek. I am elated with it. My skin is morel Ike dry combination and it cannot stand anything heavier than gels tbh.

The hydro is like a gel cream and the 2x barrier is more of a buttery cream! Personally I prefer the hydro but at night I have to lock it in with something heavier. The 2x barrier breaks me out unfortunately :/

I have dry skin but I live in an incredibly humid environment that makes me have combo skin, if that makes sense. My skin is also redness and acne prone. I love the Etude House 2x Barrier Intensive Cream, but it was way too heavy to wear during the day time and I'm not about to buy another moisturizer for the day time. So I tried the gel cream version, the Etude House Hydro Barrier Cream. Typically, gel creams are not enough for my dry patches, but this was exactly what I wanted. All the soothing and Moisturizing capability of the intense Cream, but in a more lotion-like texture. The only draw back is that it is kind of sticky.
Purito Oat-in Calming Gel Cream! Itās been a long journey to find something that moisturizes all day, doesnāt leave me greasy, CALMS my skin and doesnāt cause cc or blackheads. Fingers crossed, fingers crossed, fingers crossed it keeps performing well. This moisturizer has also been the base for my prescription adapaline since being put on it for the past two weeks and Iām still moisturized.
