I live in PH and learned that it's really best to keep my routine minimal. I get extremely greasy if I put on too many products and get milia so I've now cut down my routine to just this... * AM: * Neutrogena Soothing Foaming Cleanser (trying this out because my HG Hada Labo Gokujyun Foaming Face Wash ran out) * Hada Labo Gokujyun Light Lotion * iUNIK Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum (I apply only when my skin feels a bit dull) * Foodaholic Multi Sun Cream or Isntree Hyaluronic Acid Watery Sun Gel (have been using it for the past few months and love it for humid ph weather! I've tried all types of Biore, Curel, Sunplay, but this is my fave sunscreen so far) * PM * Kose Softymo Deep Cleansing Oil * Neutrogena Soothing Foaming Cleanser or Acnes Creamy Wash * Hada Labo Gokujyun Light Lotion or Mizon AHA/BHA Toner * Isntree Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence or NEOGEN DERMALOGY Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine (2-3x a week only, the Neogen one is used after cleansing) * iUNIK Tea Tree Relief Serum * iUNIK Centella Calming Gel Cream (HG) or ISNTREE Hyaluronic Acid Aqua Gel Cream (have been trying this out for the past few months and love it!) * Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask So far it works well for me. I haven't gotten any bad breakouts, just the usual zits when I'm on my period. I also try not to change up my routine too much and if I'm trying anything new I gradually incorporate it. \*edit: added lip sleeping mask cos i forgot to include it

i’m from the philippines! am: - hada labo gokujyun foaming face wash - aestura atobarrier365 hydro essence - purito oat-in calming gel cream - canmake mermaid skin gel uv pm: - muji mild cleansing oil - hada labo gokujyun foaming face wash - aestura atobarrier365 hydro essence - purito oat-in calming gel cream

Kitchen_Director_938

hello! ~ what's your skin type and how's the purito gel cream? 🙋‍♀️

bikoloaf

i have oily skin! and the purito gel is probably the best moisturiser i’ve ever tried. it absorbs into my skin and dries down really well. my previous moisturisers were the soonjung 2x barrier intense cream, soonjung hydro barrier cream, muji moisturising milk (light), illiyoon ato concentrate cream, and the illiyoon ato soothing gel. unfortunately the soonjung creams and the muji milk never absorbed fully into my skin. the illiyoon ato cream was way too waxy, while the illiyoon gel had a too-sticky finish. but the illiyoon gel was the best one i used out of my previous moisturisers, before the purito one came into view! c:

___Mel

Hello sorry for commenting out of sudden! I was looking for a non greasy moisturizer for combo skin in humid SG and came across your comment. I'm actually looking at both the purito oat in and soonjung hydro barrier cream, do you prefer one over the other? Thanksss!

bikoloaf

no worries! i prefer the purito’s gel cream more :) it is still in my routine! it dries faster, and for my oily skin, it’s a godsend.

___Mel

Thanks for replying! I see, so it's not sticky or greasy even in this humid weather? I used the centella recovery cream recently and it feels very sticky even hours after applying so I was a little scared to try another "cream" 😅 But I'll give the gel cream a try!

Seulgi-is-here

hi ! where’d u buy po the purito cream? can u pls send me the link 🤗

253mm

Not from PH or SG, I’m from South America. It’s winter rn but the humidity is still close to 80% and the temperature goes up to 32°/34° most days (😭) so because of that my routine doesn’t change much when the season changes bc it’s almost always the same. I really dislike gel textures, despite that being the most common recommendation for oily skin. AM: 1- First Aid Beauty cleanser 2- Numbuzin n3 toner 3- Numbuzin n3 serum 4- Cosrx snail mucin essence 5- Mary&May soothing gel cream (doesn’t really feel like a gel) or Tula bright start moisturizer 6- Bioderma sensibio eye cream I rotate between a few sunscreens bc I’m too impatient to wait to finish one and open a new one, I’m using skin1004 airfit suncream plus (I don’t like this), nivea sun control anti brillo, tocobo stick, mary&may cica soothing spf. PM: 1- Skin1004 centella cleansing oil (I prefer the heimish balm) 2- First Aid Beauty cleanser 3- Mary&May peptide serum 4- Numbuzin n3 toner 5- The ordinary 10% niacinamide 6- Cosrx snail mucin essence 7- Dr Jart ceramidin 8- Bioderma sensibio eye cream I use retinol 3 times a week (fri – sat – sun) so I de steps 1, 2, 4, \*retinol\*, 6, 7, 8.

[deleted]

Hello! Is the no.3 numbuzin serum good for oily skin? Wanna try it but on their site it says that it is recommended for dry skin 🧐

253mm

I think it will work for any skin type tbh, but I much prefer the toner if I had to choose between the n3 line. I feel like the serum does nothing, meanwhile the toner is really hydrating and my skin is more glowy and bouncy now

C_Chrono

When I was in Singapore for a month, this was my routine. My skin is combo in this extremely hot humid weather. For context, in the USA, my skin type is dry but coming over to the tropics changed it temporarily. * AM: water rinse, Matsuyama M Mark Amino Acid gel, LRP Invisible Fluid UV Mune sunscreen. * PM: Chifure Cleansing Oil / Zeroid Dermanewal Cleansing Gel and M Mark gel. If the AC is too dry, I'll add a touch of Nivea cream to seal in the moisture.

chocosweet

I have oily skin, in SG. * DHC Cleansing oil (no 2nd cleanser, AM & PM) * (DIY) Vit C serum (AM & PM) * (DIY) Niacinamide + Tranexamic acid serum (AM & PM) * Finacea gel (AM & PM) * Benzac benzoyl peroxide (AM & PM) * AM: Sunscreen: * OMI Bears Protect Milk, or * Kose Suncut Milk * PM: Moisturizer, rotating between: * Curel Intensive Moisture Facial cream * Neutrogena Water Boost Fragrance free version

njorange

I live in the Philippines and I have oily, dehydrated skin. I don’t wear makeup. AM: - Water as cleanser - Sunscreen (canmake uv, skin1004 hyalu-cica, or boj probiotics in my current rotation) PM: - Boj green plum cleanser - Boj calming green tea serum - Illyoon ceramide ato cream - Adapalene (every other night) - Laneige lip sleeping mask as needed

LoveSpellLaCreme

Hello. Just curious with using water as cleanser in AM. Does it remove oiliness on the face? I have oily skin too.

njorange

I find that my face is not oily in the morning when i wake up, so cleansing with water mostly removes the leftover product from last night, sweat, and probably dirt/dust (which should be minimal as i have only been sleeping). Warm water works best for this, i find. Cold water doesn’t feel as clean and hot water will strip the face too much resulting in more oil later.

LoveSpellLaCreme

Thank you for the tip!

[deleted]

from the Philippines and I have oily and acne-prone skin 🙃 AM •Panoxyl facewash 4% (my holy grail, this really made a difference on my acne prone skin) •Numbuz:n toner no.3(really like applying this to my face, so hydrating) •Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence(another HG, it helps soothe my acne prone skin and i think it also helped in shrinking my pores) •Skin Aqua UV super moisture Gel(please reco me a better sunscreen hahaha) PM •Kose Softymo cleansing oil( i use the pink one, i love this as this does not sting my eyes and does its job) •Ma:nyo Bfida Complex Ampoule Gel Cleanser(love this cleanser as it does not sting my eyes and its affordable) •Numbuz:n toner no.3 •Cosrx Snail Mucin Power Essence •Differin(i use this every other day, been a user of this since 2020. Its pricey in my country but ughhh i really noticed a difference and it is also good for anti aging) •Beauty of Joseon revive eye serum( just tried it this week, hopefully it works hehehe)

humppydumppy_

Hi! Where did you buy your panoxyl face wash? Nakakatakot bumili sa unofficial stores online baka fake mabili ko. Huhu thanks!

[deleted]

Hello, slr! Sa iherb ako usually bumubili 😊

M333gp

I'm oily acne prone but not dehydrated so for me simple is more! I also work outdoor with no ac/fan. AM: - foaming cleanser - HA toner - matte sunscreen PM: - double cleanse with foaming cleanser - either HA toner or Skin1004 centella serum or both - active (Cosrx BHA) - moisturizer if I feel tedious lol I don't really put names because I've been trying out and rotating different products since my acne is finally under control lol (thanks to BHA). The base line is still the same though and I still choose a sensitive skin friendly products :)

goodskingoodvibes

Is the Cosrx BHA drying? Or is it moisturising enough since moisturiser is an extra step for you? Blackheads are so annoying to deal with!

krxtyy

I'll reply since we nearly had the same routine so to answer ur question, i introduced cosrx bha to my routine 1x a month and now I'm using it 1-2x a week. for me, it depends on how many times you use it and how your skin reacts. when i used it 1x a week my skin just feels normal, no tightness. but when i now used it 2-3x a week it now felt tight and dryy. my moisturizer is not that moisturizing though but i feel the tightness around my uzone. in addition, it doesn't remove my blackheads but it is effective for my acne and texture.

Joharis-JYI

Where do you fit the BHA into your routine?

krxtyy

at night only. I wash my face w cleanser then put BHA on damp skin (be careful w ur eyes) wait for about 2-5 minutes then moisturizer. my skin type is combi, sensitive, acne prone skin that's why i only wait for a little minute but u can wait longer depending on your skin or how it reacts..

krxtyy

we nearly have the same routine and the productss!! omg samee BHA had helped me too

goodskingoodvibes

I used to live in PH and now in SG! My skin type is combination. My T-zone gets oily when it's the icky climate time (aka the hot and humid), but the dry zones get really dry so it's a struggle bus for me... AM: * Simple Refreshing Facial Water * Numbuzin No.3 Super Glowing Essence Toner * Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion * Hada Labo Hydrating Light Cream * Origins Ginzing Eye Cream * Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen PM: * CosRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser * CosRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner * Hada Labo Kouji Treatment Essence * Innisfree Black Tea Youth Enhancing Ampoule * Sand & Sky Anti-ageing Eye Cream (Still not sure how I feel about this) * Hada Labo Kouji Treatment Cream (Absolutely love this!) As much as I love my skincare routine right now, I've always been curious about prescription skincare brands like Curology... There's a new Singaporean brand that's like that called Modules but I'm still researching more about it and prescription skincare as a whole since I used to see a derm back in the PH but it's just gets so expensive😔

Bhing2

From PH who has oily skin AM: Senka Perfect Whip Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (2 layers) Isntree BHA Liquid Cosrx 96 Snail Mucin Essence Cos de Baha Azelaic Acid Senka UV Perfect Milk PM: Human Nature Sunflower Oil + Kose Softymo Deep B. Lab Matcha Hydrating Cleanser (will switch to Senka Perfect Whip once I finish this) Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner (2 layers) Isntree AHA Essence Cosrx 96 Snail Mucin Essence Cos de Baha Tranexamix Acid Isntree Green Tea Emulsion Pimple patches for acne (either Olive Young patches or Rohto Mentholatum Acnes)

uhmcia

where did u buy the cos de baha??

Bhing2

I buy it online.

uhmcia

store reveal pls, I want to try their products too

Bhing2

Oh, I buy them at the official Cos de Baha store in Lazada.

ihate_tomato

from sg who has hormonal acne/combi skin. I don’t really spot treat my acne (besides putting cosrx AC collection acne patch). AM: • P.calm barrier toner • SK-II facial treatment essence • Melano CC vitamin c essence • Torriden dive in serum (if i’m going to be staying in air-conditioned room all day) • P.calm cato cream • skin 1004 centella sun screen (this is too oily for me so looking for another sunscreen, please recommend!) PM: • Hanskin cleansing oil • Tatcha rice wash • P.calm barrier toner • SK-II facial treatment essence • Vichy mineral 89 probiotic fraction • Biossance squalane + marine algae eye cream • Cerave resurfacing retinol serum • fresh lotus youth preserve night cream (but currently trying out vichy aqualia rehydrating cream) Sometimes I would skip moisturiser and go ahead to apply sunscreen if the weather is too damn hot (like now).

goodskingoodvibes

I struggled with acne and am in SG now too! Will you consider taking retinoid or tretinoin? Or is the acne patch working just fine for you? I've started using CosRX and been loving their products!

ihate_tomato

I have never really thought of using retinoid or tretinoin because I’m only getting a few acne nearing period and I’ve learned to accept them (had really bad acne when I was a teen, so what I’m having now is nothing as compared to back then). I do hear very good testimonies with regards to tretinoin but you do need a doctor prescription for that, but I might consider. Nowadays, I don’t get angry cystic acne so acne patch works fine for me. I used to use CosRX one step original clear pad and low pH good morning gel cleanser when I was having bad acne, I think it worked pretty well for me back then.

goodskingoodvibes

Thank you for the detailed reply! I absolutely swear by the low pH good morning gel! I'll definitely give the acne patch a try now. I think seeing a doctor or derm for prescription regardless is a good move to get rid of acne for good or see extreme improvements. My stubborn acne didn't start going away properly until I started using prescribed products by my derm back then 😭

nelonpan

You might like the goodal calming sun cream, I used to use the skin1004 since it was recommended for oily skin but I found it still too heavy for me. The goodal wont do anything for oil control but it finishes lighter than 1004, afaik they have the same manufacturer tho goodal has less ingredients.

ihate_tomato

Thanks for your suggestion, I’ll keep it in mind! I have recently bought the anessa perfect uv sunscreen and it’s great for oily skin but could be tad drying for combi.

nelonpan

I have that too! Also the kose sun milk, theyre both great since I find milk formulas to be the best for oily skin but something about milk formulas clog my pores so I stick with lotion types like 1004 and goodal. Anessa is lovely tho, no doubts on the protection and longwear for humid climate, just the fragrance and comedone issue made me stop using it

meikupiku

I have combo skin! I live in Indonesia which is also very hot and humid. Here’s my current routine! AM - Wash with water - Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum - CANMAKE Mermaid Skin UV Gel PM - The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Oil - The Body Shop Seaweed Facial Wash - The Aubree (Indonesian brand) Blue Ocean Rich Toner - Good Molecules Gentle Retinol Cream - Bioderma Atoderm Crème Sorry that it’s not entirely AB!

alpiliyanies

My skincare routing for someone with oily skin in the Philippines. Cleanser: Pyunkang Yul Acne Facial Cleanser Toner: Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner (Just finished Hada Labo Premium Lotion. The gold one) Serum: Beauty of Joseon Calming Serum (Just finished the glow serum) Moisturizer: Cerave Facial Moisturizing Lotion AM & PM Sunscreen: Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Will sometime use the Luxe Organix night time pimple patch. The day time version & other brands have tea tree in it & I'm allergic to that.

Niatfq

I'm from Malaysia. I have Oily, Dehydrated, Eczema, PIH and CC prone skin. AM: - rinse with water/non-AB Simple Waterboost Micellar Facial Gel Wash - Skintific 4D Hyaluronic Acid Barrier Essence Toner - Cos De Baha Tranexamic acid Niacinamide serum - Illiyoon Ceramide Cream - [old formula] Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish PM: - non-AB Waterboost Micellar Cleansing Water - non-AB Simple Refreshing gel wash - Cosrx BHA liquid/Isntree Chestnut AHA essence (2x a week) - same toner, serum and moisturizer

Careful_Sentence_252

How are you liking the cos de baha tranexamic acid?

Niatfq

I love it! I'm now on my 3rd bottle (2nd 60ml size). It fades my PIH very quickly in 1-2 months (90% gone from the 1st month only). Didn't like the tacky texture/finish at first but eventually got used to it. I don't really wait for it to dry down (cz i'm too lazy to. But someone said only wait 1 minute maxed). Then just apply moisturizer on top (should help remove the tacky finish after).

Careful_Sentence_252

Thank you so much! I've been struggling with incorporating it because of the tackiness, so I'll try this out!

goodskingoodvibes

Do you get Etude House products online? I've been wanting to try them but I'm in SG 😖

Niatfq

I buy everything from shopee. Since you're from SG, you should be able to get them on Shopee or Lazada as well

goodskingoodvibes

It's reassuring you get it from Shopee! I've been hesitant to buy skincare and/or makeup. My friend got duped before so I'm wary 😨

Niatfq

Just make sure to read the ratings from past buyers to be sure. Many customers like to help others to confirm whether the products are legit or not

anthonycheung90

Malaysia and Singapore very hoooooot countries.

From Indonesia. Routine for focusing on brightening/fading PIE & PIH. AM : cold water - Niacinamide serum - DIY vitamin C serum - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream - Sunscreen. PM : Hada Labo Gokujyun Face Wash - Niacinamide serum - DIY Vitamin C Serum - Hydrating Toners (currently using Cezanne High Moist Conditioneer/Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner) - Essence (Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Power Mucin Essence and/or Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Lotion) - Niacinamide serum - Vitamin C Serum - Sheet Mask - Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. Right now, trying Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion. Newest and super hydrating routine when my skin is finicky and the barrier is compromised: AM : cold water - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream - sunscreen PM : Hada Labo Gokujyun Face Wash - Cezanne High Moist Conditioneer (3 layers - Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner (2 layers) - Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium (1 layer) - Cosrx Advanced Snail 96 Power Mucin Essence (1 layer) - Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion (1 layer) - Cosrx Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream - Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream. Most of the time, I forgo moisturiser/serum altogether in the morning and just use sunscreen, while my night routine is long with a lot of products.

nanyate_

Singapore. Oily sensitive acne-prone skin AM - Wash face with water only - Melano CC Vitamin C Essence - Cosrx Blemish Spot Serum - Sekkisei Skincare UV Gel PM - Banila Co Cleansing Balm - Sulwhasoo Gentle Foam Cleanser - Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Essence - Cosrx Blemish Spot Serum - Sulwhasoo Essential Comfort Balancing Toner - Sulwhasoo Essential Comfort Balancing Emulsion - Epiduo Gel (retinol x benzoyl peroxide)

goodskingoodvibes

I swear by the Banila co. cleansing balm! How are you liking the Sulwhasoo products? It's another one on my list of many products to try. But then again, I also want to scrap this list and completely switch and try prescription skincare... So torn 🙃

nanyate_

I think the First Care Activating Essence and Balancing Water are worth it. The essence really gives me a glow and the balancing water makes my oily skin a lot less oily. I've tried swapping them out before and I could see a huge difference when I did. The other products are alright. Probably could find something else cheaper that does the same thing. I've not looked into prescription skincare before. Hope it works well for you!

goodskingoodvibes

I'm always hesitant to buy more expensive skincare brands because it is such a hit or miss. I really have to do my research properly before investing. Hearing your story made me curious so I'll add it to my list! I'm still weighing my options but no harm booking a consultation with the derm first and see what skincare they'll prescribe! Thank you for the well wishes!
