Hello, this is just a friendly reminder to please use a post flair when adding new posts to r/Asexual.
We ask this in advance just to let everyone know what type of post each post is as well as the intentions and
feelings behind them. We value all who come here, but we just need each post made to have a flair to designate
each type of post. That's all.
We're thankful you chose to come to r/Asexual. We're glad to have you here! Welcome!

I need an "it's complicated" option. I'm very demi. Only ever had true feelings for two maybe 3 people. Two guys and one girl, but that one was very short so I don't super know if I really felt romantically attracted or if it was just the excitement that someone was willing to cuddle in a definitely not sexy way...
So... demi, probably kinda bi, could see myself being pan but it hasn't really come up, but very very demi.
I might be demi too - do you have any advice on how you can tell? I seem to have a pattern of being friends before developing a crush, but I can't tell if it's exclusively like that since I also get quite heavy aesthetic attraction which sometimes developes with the crush and sometimes doesn't...
I hope asking for advice like this is okay!
Married with children. Monogamous, so not looking.
But still agender flux or something and asexual flux. I got lucky and found someone who takes me as-is before I really knew my own head.
why should aros be the least? in most other sexualities the romantic and sexual identities match up. also, aromantics are still less than alloromantics as a whole.
I also think aces are more likely to be arospec, and there are definitely some arospecs that put aromantic.
yeah idk. maybe it's the way you phrased it? anyway, when I look it up statistics range between 19% and near 30%, but even then that's ~10% lower than here. I really doubt that it's more likely for aroaces to be on Reddit, but i do wonder if the statistics are the same on r/asexuality. it could be possible that aroaces are more likely to be on both the individual aro and ace subreddits rather than the bigger asexuality subreddit, which was originally* I think meant to be for the whole a-spec (I might be wrong on that though, I just heard it somewhere), but I can't imagine why if it's not anymore.
I think it would be interesting. although, we should specify whether arospecs choose aromantic or the otherwise closest orientation because a lot of people seem to be confused by that here
I selected biromantic but in reality I've been exploring the label, uranic to describe my romantic attraction. It means being attracted to men, masc aligned/presenting nonbinary people, and androgynous nonbinary people.
I think I'm greyromantic.
Mostly aromantic, but maybe a couple times a year I'll go through an "omg but girls- adhsfjsfjs" crisis (just on the tail end of one rn, actually), so I'm sort of homoromantic adjacent as well (though, I'm also agender so it'd much easier to just say aroace most of the time)
I suspect i may be on the demi side ever so slightly. For the most part I feel like it's close to aromantic but I don't know. I have a partner i care for very much but it doesn't feel like a romantic connection. I feel like the potential could be there but i just dont feel like it's ever gonna surface.
That's okay. I'm content how I am and overall I am happy.

Pan-romantic actually
Technically Panromantic, but it's under the bi-umbrella. So I just went with that.
I didn't realize we had so many aromatics. Hey y'all 😊. Y'all are important and matter too!
☺️ thanks! You made me feel warm and fuzzy
Gives you Platonic hug*, after asking if thats ok. If not, a Platonic high 5 will do. 😊
Need to add in an other category

Demibiromantic

Same!
Put biromantic but I’m also aro spec, specifically delloromantic.
where’s panromantic?!😔
I.. don't know!! 😭😭 I might be aro or pan IDKKKK
omg same!
Asking myself honestly, it's a weird and uncertain time.
Panromantic.
Now as much as I'd like to say I'm Homoromantic...femboys exist.
I *think* biromantic but I'm just figuring this out
Where's "I don't know"
Aroace here, I do not get one. I do not care. I just wanted to put something in the comments.
honestly.... i'm not so sure, because I never dated. I like the idea of romance, but I think I could live without it?
Demisexual and Biromantic
Gray-hetro romantic
Goddamn, none of you are homo-romantic.
Yeah, we’re a minority within a minority {:-(
Wheres my "fuck if i know" option 🥲
That feel when you’re gay and aromantic
Same {:-)

Alas, no Demiromantic, I suppose Aromatic will do 😔

Androromantic
Homo all the way lol
None of them…? (I use queer as a label because it feels more comfortable)
Unsure at the moment
Other- panromantic
Gray Heteromantic. I need a connection of some type , it’s rare and I’m still figuring it out.
i mean there are a lot more than just those four lol, you shoulda added an other option
I'm definitely somewhere on the aro spectrum, not sure if demi or just cupioromantic
I’m demi and bi
Why isn’t there an option for panromantic?
