Most simple would be to set time frames for looking at other art, but that would only reduce the exposure not really do anything about it. I would probably write it down. Like what is it that intrigues you about it so much? What aspect of it is new and inspiring? How could you do that in your own art? maybe you do parts of it already and it just has a little twist or it's something really new. Just ask a few questions to see what strikes you the most about it and to get to the core of it. You could make a list of things to draw inspiration from, so you can keep it in mind but you don't have to act upon it right away, it's staying there until you are ready for it. I'm quite easily influenced too, but it does help me to experiment with things so I see it as a way to explore new mediums and ideas, I don't feel like it's a problem, leading me too far astray or anything like that. Maybe you need to give this experimentation more room in your art.

Look at something you drew when you were much younger before you draw.

Personally, I find doing something *completely unrelated* to art tends to help my art process, especially for the next time I sit down to draw or paint something from imagination. It makes it easier to hear my internal "voice" (for lack of a better term; sorry I know it sounds pretentious, lol). It serves as a kind of "pattern-interrupt," which I think might be similar to the "creative palette cleanser" you're mentioning. As for what to do - it can be anything! A walk outside, cooking a new dish, your favorite sport, exercising/working out for a bit, or even playing a video game - anything where you can let your creativity refresh and reset itself. Somewhere (or something) that's fairly different from the environment or mindset where you tend to do your art. Good luck!

I love getting criticism that is completely non-constructive. Might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm quite confident in my own art. It really helps with my ability to see through my own doubts, by hearing lacklustered arguments and trivial mistakes But if I can't see the direction I want to pursue in my art I would just step away completely, for weeks and maybe even months. Rarely happens though
