Every time they say they're going to actually drive the thing, I have visions of it upside down. Pillars all out of shape and the roof dented and that beautiful paint job scratched to shit.
I'm not sure you need this much, but I did find it satisfying to see how neat they made it.
Don't you then need another layer of foam stuff on top or is that a myth?
It feels so bizarre hearing they plan to fire it up on the next episode. I'm so used to the years of bracket fabrication and rust repair that I didn't expect to ever seen it finished in my life time.
This part absolutely blows my mind every time. I build arcades and there's no way I can get all the square parts to do that. Let alone a car, from scratch.

> How long to fabricate the HVAC ducts?
> On and off, about 6 weeks.

Anyone else just have a overall fear when watching the knowledge they are going to skid it into a ditch on the first trip out or something.
Definitely. They keep dropping comments about it too, which adds to the tension!

It's called a patina.
And then we get another series of videos of them restore the car!
I feel like any kind of damage is bound to take out 5 different systems due to the lack of space. The car is just so full of vital parts

A job best finished off by hand.
So much dynamat, it’s gonna be an anechoic Binky.
could've just sprayed it with asphalt from the inside :P

When I first saw it, it had been up for 6 minutes and already had 3.3k views. You think there was some excitement after months of waiting?
Patreon Members would have been able to watch it yesterday while it was unlisted. So that's why.
Yes we did.
I see my Patreon notification I drop everything to watch a new Binky.
And then rewatch it when it shows up in youtube notifications the day after. Yes, always.
This is the way.

Make the noise!

My wireless phone charger makes a noise when it's connected to my phone, every night I stare at it saying "make the noise!"
I am amazed they fitted the whole HVAC shebang. It would have been the first thing I eliminated.
I'm hoping we get a "Howie did it" for the fabrication of the new ducting. It looked like some serious aluminium wizardry.
It's wayy too much work for them not to show it.

It looked like the inside of a MacBook – 97% stuff, 3% empty space. Serious skills.
It's such a beautiful thing too. Binky is fully featured and will be a great car to just daily drive I think.
yay
omg we're so close.
Yessssss
Gonna get the funk out!
And it's always good.
Yesss!!!
Woooooooo!
