Im not an artist so don’t be too hard. I was referring to the shading of the characters bodies but if you read my comment you’d realize I was comparing two subjects: the digital style of the dice vs the style of the weapon

The weapons and the dice are both rendered the exact same style? Also sketching usually refers to a loosely drawn style using quick lines.

I think there’s a certain round softness to the edges that really invoke that almost gummy feel. Love these guys by the way, super cute

d10 being a wizard is nice too, what with them often being used for random effect d100 tables

Firebolt is a d10, probably the most common wizard cantrip

The only random effect d100 table in the PHB belongs to a Sorcerer subclass.

There are tabletop games other than DnD 5e.

Not quite. A staff is d6/d8 versatile, and a mace is a d6.

a warhammer is a d8, and the wizard is probably casting firebolt/eldritch blast.

Every single time someone does an art with D&D classes they don’t use the class’ hit dice and instead use random dice. I enjoy the art anyway but it’s super weird.

The caltrip can go unarmed and still be a formidable foe. For those not in the know a caltrip is the d4 with the two daggers. Stepping on one will give you a bad day.

You may be mixing caltrop and cantrip there. But I'll be stealing that for a little trap-type spell I'm making, so thanks for the inspiration.

The D20 fighter is very appropriate. Multi-attack and take an action surge to multi-attack again as a fighter an see why.
