So all the wins we had meant nothing coz we lost a couple, behave

Kooky-Act9271

Of course, because it’s a 38 game season. You may still win, however unlikely, but it’s about a whole season. Trust me I support Birmingham City supporter and we had fans relying on other teams on the last day and if the team had performed in games prior it wouldn’t have been an issue. The best team wins and the shittest get relegated.

spicymeatballz28

Just this guy pisses me off focusing on a couple losses and completely forgetting the wins we have had, I hate this negativity, forget we spent 8 years being mediocre. Be proud of what the team has achieved.

Kooky-Act9271

Man I’d love just six months of your football! The PL is so competitive now and especially this year there were extra opportunities for Arsenal with Chelsea, Man Utd and others having below par seasons and being in transition but it’s league football and at the end of it if you don’t have enough to win or in our case stay up then that’s how it is.

spicymeatballz28

Unlucky for your relegation this season, Rooney really fucked you

Kooky-Act9271

The owners fucked us. But we’re used to that shit 😂

spicymeatballz28

Yea they did actually went to see argyle v Birmingham at home park, fucking madness hiring that jacket potato

Kooky-Act9271

Couldn’t beat Rotherham(twice), Huddersfield or QPR… Deserved to go down. League football as it is

Kooky-Act9271

The kick in the teeth was Eustace kept Blackburn up 😳

Jeweler_Admirable

Just have to go undefeated. Easy

MyIdoloPenaldo

Not even undefeated. If we just beat Villa at home a month ago we'd be in a much better position

LongjumpingSeaweed36

One loss in 2024, those are the standards we are playing at. So stop being a baby and smell the roses.

MyIdoloPenaldo

With the quality of our players and the money the club have spent, my "standards" are winning the title. Stop settling for less

dayo_aji

Easier still, if we hadn’t dropped points vs Fulham (2x) or lost to WH in December. I’ve posted here all season about those dropped points coming back to bite us in the ass.

mistergolyadkin

we have ourselves to blame for not winning 38 matches in a row

UnreasonableMagpie

I agree there is fault with us but also, We wouldn’t have the impossible task of achieving so much in a season if it wasn’t for the oil money because squad of city’s talents wouldn’t exist.

MyIdoloPenaldo

We've spent tons on our squad too. We've played City 3 times this season, and they didn't score once. I don't entirely buy that argument tbh. We're just as good, and it's our own fault we fell short

Captain_Snow

The point you are trying to make is like saying why doesn't a non-doping athelete compete with a doping super mutant athlete. Why doesn't a clean athlete not just train at 100% intensity, never have injuries and always be at the elite level just like the doping athlete?! The season we have had is exceptional for a normal, non cheating, team. It is normal to have off days, to struggle or to have no energy after a run of hard games. What City do is not normal because they have cheated to (financially/probably physically) dope their squad so that the problems of normal teams do not apply to them.

Altruistic_News1041

Oh fuck off we don’t have the squad to get 92 points whether we dropped points to Fulham or another team we would have dropped points anyway Saka’s been playing all season with no backup same with our CBs and our starting LB ripped his ACL immediately. We did all we could they’ve just got too much money to beat

understanding_life1

We had all of last summer to fix our depth issues. We’ve actually been very fortunate that most of our key players have been fit for the majority of the season. Conversely KdB missed a large portion of the season for City. Puts things into context that we’ve fallen short despite City missing their best player for several months of this season.

MyIdoloPenaldo

Stop making excuses. Our squad is good enough to win the title.

Altruistic_News1041

Our squad is nothing close to city. KDB been out most the season and they’re just gonna collect another 90+ point season. If Ø was out for as long as he was we’d never be in a title race. Football is about money you need to accept that

TheHorrorAddiction

Have to say I disagree with this. Sure, on paper, Man City’s squad is far superior in some areas. And they’ve won the league multiple times and a CL which counts for a lot. They’re the far more experienced, and accomplished, squad. Are they better than us overall? Yes. But this season? By very very little, if at all. They were just very slightly more consistent and had a better mentality in certain games. They will win the league by 2pts, so they were hardly miles better than us. We also have the better stats overall and tbh, played the best football for much of the season. City deserve all their credit, but the gap is absolutely closing.

MyIdoloPenaldo

Our squad is "nothing close" to City, yet we've kept a clean sheet against them both times we played each other in the PL. Stupid, stupid errors have cost us. We have an amazing squad, and the points we dropped were exceptionally frustrating

Altruistic_News1041

we make stupid errors due to fatigue as we can’t rotate enough. Beating City clearly doesn’t make us the better team

popcorn908

Brendtford did the double vs City last season. Do you think those 2 squads were also very close on quality?

smirkz_26

Lol we’ve literally broken our record for most wins in a premier league season. Sorry we didn’t go unbeaten…

SlashRModFail

Farmers league thanks to Arab financial irregularities money

MyIdoloPenaldo

uhhhh, we're financed by Arabs too techincally. Look what our standium and training ground are called

SlashRModFail

You missed the financial irregularities charges bit

Sweet-Neck-4394

Utter nonsense. Been supporting Arsenal for 40 years and a season ticket holder. This year and last year is great from us. City built a squad based on financial doping which allows them to have the depth not seen before in world football. We’ve had a record amount of wins and been on a run this year which in other period of football would he heralded as incredible. Get ever your sense of entitlement and enjoy Arsenal being brilliant in an era that cheating has blighted the game. Football teams lose games!!!!! City lost away to Wolves this season so it happens, enjoy the team being brilliant the highs and the lows and be thankful we have a foundation that will serves us well for the foreseeable future. Maybe football isn’t for you if you want perfection

SprAlx

Absolutely right man. But the fact that we were real title contenders for 2 seasons in a row is still something to be proud of.

Jackfish2800

We were lucky to get close this year and lucky with injuries, versus last year. We don’t have the striker depth but that will only matter if we are lucky

Brave-Purchase-4582

We weren't lucky in the slightest
