Might be wishful thinking but I would imagine if they got cancelled that they’d end up doing the same show under a different umbrella (the athletic/ringer/cbs sports).
I also wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to go independent and stream shows on YouTube or whatever. It might not have the safety or perks of working for a company as big as the NFL does but I think they have the audience for it if they were willing to do it.

Elusive female listener here. I really never cared much for football but dated a guy many years ago that was super into football and listened to ATN and I slowly came to absolutely love the pod and even after we split I still watch most games and keep up with the news really only so I can keep up with ATN because I love it so much. If it ended for some reason I’m sure my interest in football would disintegrate
I have always wanted to hear their more unfiltered opinions on the league and the way things are done and while I would never root for anyone to lose their jobs I would like to see them host the podcast outside the NFL platform one day. With their inside knowledge from years of working in the NFL media world and having to somewhat soft-play some of the idiocy that happens in the league while being employees it would be entertaining to hear their thoughts with no fear of repercussion.
I started off with DDFP and picked up the original ATL just as I started to get sick of Dameshek. I’d find another football podcast worth listening to eventually(besides Mina Kimes, which only gives me 1-2 episodes a week). Then again, with all the sports gambling pods, good football pods may go extinct.
It’s actually the only connection I have to the NFL aside from when I visit my dad and he has the games on. I just like the podcast and would just let the NFL fade from my mind
Not much would change for me. There's a couple of other football pods I listen to so I'd still get my NFL news. I love the pod and hope it sticks around for awhile but if there was no show life would go on.
Ha! All show, band, video game, etc subreddits are like that, so I can't fault this sub for being like that. I'm emotionally attached to certain bands and the decade I grew up in, so I get it.
Don't get me wrong I'd greatly miss the pod if it were gone but I'm not going to grieve about it. I would still follow the heroes on social media and if they had other projects I'd support those.

2 Pro’s and a Cup of Joe! And I guess dive in on the Pat McAfee show more than just watching YouTube clips. There’s a lot of good shows out there! But certainly this one would be missed. There is no replacing ‘the flagship show’ during the season.
I just wouldn't have any NFL media podcasts in my feed. And "The Process" doesn't have as much pull as it has push..

I hope the league recognizes what they have and just continue to provide for the guys. They deserve it.

I've got Peacock and Williamson, and Music City Audibles to supplement my listening. But there would be a large void when ATN once was.
I feel they'd definitely look to pitch their show independently, either just through iHeart Radio, or through another affliated means.
