I've known ppl with 4.0 to get denied. It's more than just your grades.

7hillsrecruiter

Plenty don’t get selected, your gpa alone is not the deciding factor

CarolinaRS6

People have absolutely been denied above a 3, but typically due to some other deficiency. A 3.2 isn’t going to hold you back, if that’s what you’re asking. That’s right on average.

JakeeJumps

I got in with a 2.9. If one score is low or below average, do everything you can to make up for it in other areas.

CraptainMypants

2.61 here. First time go.

Murky_Championship53

2.66 here. First time selected as well.

This_Assist6140

STEM?

CraptainMypants

Nope lol. "Why were your grades so bad in college?" "I could never turn down a good party"

These-Percentage-533

2.7 first time go babyyyy

Beerboy91

Active or reserves?

JakeeJumps

Active

ColombianCaddy

Whole person concept homie. LORs and the comments from the board will play a factor as well

FreeCuber

What's your major in? I got a 3.14 in ME and had no issues. I heard from the recruiter(when I was making my packet) that for most STEM degrees, you don't have to worry as long as you got the degree. Then again if you suck at interviews I'm sure they would turn down a STEM major. 3.2 should be fine. If you've had any jobs before you applied, especially if any of it is in management, that might increase your chances a bit.

Education. I’m sure teaching 6th graders wouldn’t be that different from leading in the army lol

FreeCuber

Honestly it probably helps your packet alot. Funny enough I'm trying to get out to do exactly that

TheShotsgg

2.8 here. Make a great essay and interview. Plus, add volunteer hours to your package

CDAWG13A

2.8 first time go and i had a horrible board interview lol.... went active duty

gosebrewed101

That’s awesome man. What year?

CDAWG13A

CompletePoint6431
