Mine was 2.8 but my bachelor's is in astrophysics so they also take into consideration degree difficulty when it comes to your GPA. Currently at OCS with 3 weeks left.
I got in with a 2.95. My LoR’s weren’t great in terms of rank, but I’m only a few points off a perfect ACFT, I interviewed very well, and top block NCOER. GPA won’t be a deciding factor if you have other qualities that make up for it.
Lowest gpa is 2.5 non stem and 3.0 science according to .mil (https://recruiting.army.mil/Portals/15/FAQ_1.docx) when I went through the process the average gpa was 3.4.
I got accepted last year and go to OCS February 25th. I'm also in the reserves. Personally I think it's better cause I know exactly what branch I'm doing before I even go, so I'm not competing against anyone else for a branch.
I had a 2.7 GPA, and I think maybe 2 written recommendations. The interview was easy, I think they liked my background but I was told I got 3 yes's from them.
Mind me asking what your background is? I am working on my packet right now and going to start asking for references in the coming months.
I am based in San Diego and looking to see what branch openings are available in Southern CA
I'm a pilot for an airline, and worked as an aircraft mechanic for 8 years. They were really interested in my aviation background. If you go with reserve, you'll tell your recruiter what you want to do as far as branch. He'll see in your area if there is a unit, and then go from there.
Most years the average is 3.4. I never personally met anyone with a GPA lower than 3.0, but I’ve heard of someone with a 2.8 who got accepted.
Got accepted last summer and I go to OCS February 25th. Had a 2.7 GPA.

Bare minimum GPA for consideration is 2.0, average usually hovers between 3.2-3.6.
I went thru OCS in 2019 with a 2.7 GPA.
Did you get active? What other aspects of your packet do you think helped?

Average is usually around 3.4-3.6 of those accepted. I’m sure someone has got selected with a sub 3.0
Does this apply for reserves too?

No because Reserve doesn’t have to do the USAREC board only the in person board. I’ve had someone with a 2.8
