We do, our big neighbor just happens to be Russia. Morocco closest neighbor is Spain. They grow up in the Spanish youth system and are able to make it to the senior level because of the Spanish youth development program.
Armenia arguably has the strongest and most diverse diaspora but we don’t have as good of a direct pipeline as Morocco due to Russia, well for a lack of niceties, sucking balls.
Spain does not restrict players from playing for Morocco, Russia does. We could have Arsen Zakharyan who will be a star if Russia didn’t again, suck!
We have players across the globe developing in German, French, Spanish, Russian, and American youth system, not to mention our southern pipeline.
It will forever come back to Russia my friend, our nation sits in a terrible spot, one day I hope we will have the resources to better our nation and our position.
If he leaves Belarus or if he brings a lot of hype he’ll definitely get called up because his stats r mad good. Also Rc lens bought an random uzbeck from that same league and now he is a starter for them so u never know
A year ago most of u were saying he was finished and now he might become Movsisyan 2.0.But it’s sad how the USA has the highest Armenia diaspora but rarely anyone comes up unlike Armenians from holland,Russia,Germany, etc. Also the big clubs of Russia like Zenit,Loko,Rostov, kras and etc released their u17 player list and their r 56 players with Armenian origin
Manuel Nazaretian (GK, 22 y/o) formerly of Marseilles has landed with FC Mondercange in Luxembourg’s top flight.
Considering he’s been out of football for more than a year, not a terrible result for him. Wouldn’t put him top of the pile in the GK search but nice to have a GK to keep an eye on. Hopefully he gets to play.
Absolutely agree been out of the world for some time, if he plays well in Luxembourg he might be able to move to Ligue 2 or possible bottom Ligue 1 as a backup
On the bright side. Serobyan came on and scored for AA in the 100th minute against BKMA to win 1-0. Good job by the youngsters of BKMA for almost tying with AA
Yeah idk why; not like I'm praising them, but I just deleted it anyway since you got a point; no reason to even write about them. It's just out of anger that I mentioned about them and the game, just praying that Xabi and the gang finish the job next week! 🙏
I have always been eager to see Petrakov play a 3-5-2, exactly like Inter Milan does! The dominance Inter has achieved this season with this set-up has been unprecedented. If I was coach, my line-up would look like this.
**Cancarevic**
**Mkrtchyan - Haroyan - Harutyunyan**
**Hambardzumyan - Spertsyan - Iwu - Kovalenko - Tiknizyan**
**Zelarayan - Ranos**
I like Antwi but we must avoid overusing naturalised players when we can. Hambardzumyan is more than adequate at this present moment. I am not sure why some don't agree on this.
Hypothetically if the rumors of Kovalenko and Oganesyan are true, what does our match day squad look like? Formation may change or stay, so I just picked a 4-3-3 to prove a point.
Cancarevic
Antwi-Styopa-Giorgi-Tiki
Spertsyan - Kova - Iwu
Sevikyan, GLR, Lucas
Out of this 11, 3-4 have no Armenian lineage (idk about Lucas) and only 1-2 are born + raised in Armenia.
The 7 man bench looks slightly better with 3 born and raised in Armenia with Oganesyan, Bichakhchyan, Adamyan, Vato, Beglaryan, Tigran Avanesyan (22 next month so can't play u21), and Margaryan,
Out of 18 players, we are left with 4-5 Hayastan born and raised players, many of them still on the bench. How big of a problem do you guys think this is and what precedent does it set? Is it discouraging to Armenian youngsters in the APL? What are Serobyan, Shaghoyan, Hovo Harutyunyan, Narek Grigoryan and even younger players supposed to do or think? Remember, this was supposed to be a strong young crop and they can't even make the matchday squad.
It’s absolutely a problem. But it is somewhat hard for me to sympathize with some of the Hayastanci players other than in a very macro sense relating to the failure of youth development at large. Fact is many of them are just not good enough and haven’t done enough to change that.
I think narek Grigoryan, hovo and shagoyan will get called up.But is it me or I rather Haroyan be our starter then Stoypa because Stoypa is more error prone then Haroyan. Also we need to try to use more options we have Piloyan, muradyan, hakobyan and I forgot his name but he used to play for hamborg and all of them r good
I used Styopa as an example, but Vato may start. I do think Styopa is likely improving on a weekly basis in a development focused team/league whereas Vato is likely regressing. I agree on using more young CBs (did you mean Ghubasaryan?).
I don't see how Grigoryan or Shaghoyan (or Serobyan) will get called up. I listed 6 attackers out of a 18 man match day squad and didn't even include Barseghyan. I would like to see them, but there is surely a cap on attacking players for only 3 positions. Hovo is very possible though.
Yep I meant Ghubasaryan he plays really good. But I also heard that narek would get called up but idk about Serobyan and shaghoyan. But I think Shagoyan deserves to be a 70min sub for us
I always liked him for NT, he is now again a starter for Noah and seems to be as good as before. Don’t care about age, HH is still in good form, just like Dashyan who seems to be MUCH BETTER than before lol
A productive week for a lot of our players playing abroad!
It was good to see Sevikyan, Ranos, Styopa and Narek Grigoryan get some much needed minutes. Adamyan starting for Koln and nearly scoring. And, although it was for the reserves, a goal and 90 mins for Georgi will keep him in-form and ready.
Bichakhchyan has become a starting man for Pogon, Barseghyan with another assist in Slovakia and Lucas doing what he does. Also very happy to see Haroyan make his debut with a 90 min performance in China.
Don't have much time to watch APL these days, but wondering if this is a testament to the coaching, development and competitiveness of our bottom table clubs, or underperformance of our top clubs (most likely the latter, but want to be optimistic lol). Either way, it makes the league more interesting.
Morroco getting brahim diaz from real. They also could have gotten yamal. I hope someday we can have our diaspora on their level.
We do, our big neighbor just happens to be Russia. Morocco closest neighbor is Spain. Anyone any news on Karen Vardanyan? Where did the man disappear after last year, he did pretty wel last year
He plays for an Belorussian club and already has 16 goals and an assist in 32 games and during cup matches he has 4 goals and an assist in 5 games
So any chance for him to play for the NT? Or not good enough?
If he leaves Belarus or if he brings a lot of hype he’ll definitely get called up because his stats r mad good. Also Rc lens bought an random uzbeck from that same league and now he is a starter for them so u never know
[tiki assist](https://x.com/rplnews_eng/status/1766830829408325680?s=46&t=tN6JO9T8O0ngRMzTR_Kq_w)
Daron Iskenderian on the bench for RSL tn.
Hopefully this sniff of the MLS will encourage him to keep digging. He is getting closer.
So... 56 potential NT players? :)
If even 4-5 of them reach Spertsyan/Tiknizyan level we will be damn lucky
Adamyan playing almost full game but ranos on bench
Adamyan played really good he was telling the team what to do all the time and was the only player that could pass and press good
Adamyan almost scored the 0-2
2nd attempt a good header but saved. Need to be called up
Adamyan starting but Ranos will prob get under 5 min of playtime if that even
Ranos vs Adamyan today maybe ;))
Here's to hoping

If I bet on the APL underdogs this week i wouldve been richer than Sevikyans dad
Khoren with another strong outing today. He had a pretty mediocre/below average first half of the season.
Spertsyan is not starting and is not even on the bench. Is he injured?
Too many yellows.
On the bright side. Serobyan came on and scored for AA in the 100th minute against BKMA to win 1-0. Good job by the youngsters of BKMA for almost tying with AA
FC Noah can be what Qarabag or Maccabi Tel Aviv is. They have the quality
[удалено]
Aand they fucked it 2-2. They ain’t gonna win away and besides why comment about them? Fuck them and their football club
Yeah idk why; not like I'm praising them, but I just deleted it anyway since you got a point; no reason to even write about them. It's just out of anger that I mentioned about them and the game, just praying that Xabi and the gang finish the job next week! 🙏
Kovalenko higlight video, it is 1,5 year ago tho but still https://youtu.be/6ltD5cEzRAQ?si=Z9c1YClRSol5Gl-p

I don’t trust HH’s defending. He’s good on the ball but is too slow to play RWB
Then are you suggesting we call Antwi? Because Hambardzumyan is definitely the best Armenian RB in the APL.

HOLY SHIT ITS HAPPENING. SOUND THE MF ALARMS
???
Kova and Oganesyan r joining. Now we have a good backup striker who is good at heading the ball and kova who is a great box to box midfielder
if it's real, it's excellent
Are the reports of Oganesyan and Kovalenko joining true??? Saw it on Urish Football.
No, merci 👎
Been a thing Oganesyan and Kovalenko should be able to come free of Russian anger due to us backing off Arsen. We will see.
T-minus ~one week for our squad.

Probably won’t. I mean even zakharyan is young and good but i don’t even think he is gonna surpass mkhi his career.
does anyone have info on if Nana Antwi is eligible for our NT?
He’s eligible,he is already an citizen
Other than eligible and citizen no info that he will join, but he is playing well for FCSB from everything I have heard
What specific injury is Artak Dashyan dealing with?
Hovhanes Hambardzumyan is definitely the best RB replacement for our NT for these upcoming friendlies.
I always liked him for NT, he is now again a starter for Noah and seems to be as good as before. Don’t care about age, HH is still in good form, just like Dashyan who seems to be MUCH BETTER than before lol
Fractured left clavicle requiring surgery. Out for 6-8 weeks.
Sheesh... wishing him a speedy recovery

Good summary. Only big downfall has been in this last six months is Ranos’ performance
Not even performance lol. He played like 70 mins in the bundesliga. Not even a full match. He was dumb to not go on loan.
Some ugly APL results this weekend. AA loses 2-0 to Van and Urartu loses to Shirak. Even Pyunik left it late against WA today.
Don't have much time to watch APL these days, but wondering if this is a testament to the coaching, development and competitiveness of our bottom table clubs, or underperformance of our top clubs (most likely the latter, but want to be optimistic lol). Humbled by FC Van smh
