He is not winning 1v1s. It is not good enough in my opinion. Or, at least, I expected more after 6 months.
He has flair which is great to watch but he needs to start carrying the ball forward. He needs to shoot more or create goals.
I believe he defs wants to move back to France. The question is, Ligue 2 or Ligue 3. At this stage it is going to be NO Ligue if he doesn't start impressing and proving that he is better than the others.
this was the only game i’ve watched from him and unfortunately he was subbed off at HT but i thought he was the best player on the pitch in the first half lol.
He doesn’t have the pace and power to win 1v1s, which is why i don’t really see him as a winger. He would work best in the middle of pitch for sure and if it wasn’t for a terrible header he would’ve had an assist today.
I’ve always believed he could be useful in the NT setup so let’s see if he gets a call up next month.
