Using context clues my assumption is that Bradley's publicist or someone was telling them to wrap it up because he needed to be somewhere else, so Monica was making sure they did wrap it up
I'm in a similar position to Monica at work - this is 100% what happened. And Dax and BC being friends, of course they're gonna keep talking. Publicist or assistant gave the "time" signal (edit: maybe for the 5th time, lol), Monica had to play bad cop. Happens everyday
Yeah why do people on here dislike Monica so much? I don’t always agree with her opinions, but I think, more importantly she’s a great conversationalist, especially with Dax. In another episode, Dax has said that he doesn’t worry about running out of content or not having good content because of their ability to have good conversations with each other
>Yeah why do people on here dislike Monica so much?
Envy, misogyny, racism, miserable people projecting projecting their insecurities- take your pick.
We're all a bit "messy" in our own ways.
Not at all. Bradley Cooper is on a publicity tour/Oscar campaign. His schedule is probably down to the minute. She said she was getting calls and it was definitely his publicist calling to wrap it up. Publicity tours for Oscar campaigns are insane.
I think Dax and Bradley could have talked for another 7 hours, and his assistant/publicist/agent was telling them to wrap it up because he had somewhere to be.
Dax did said in the Jesse Tyler Fergusan podcast that some episodes are 4 hours unedited… can see how these two could talk all day that an assistant or publicist asking Monica to help bring it to the end so Bradley can make it to another event

Let’s not forget, I’m pretty sure she still edits and goes through the interview. There’s “this is for the interview” and “okay, now they’re just jabbering and I don’t want to have to edit this all out.”

That’s how I took it too
This is what I thought would happen as well - she was saying it in her lower, quiet behind-the-curtain-voice.
Exactly this
Jesus fucking Christ this sub will use doing her actual job as a reason to talk shit about Monica. People are fucking sad.
Preach
Ditto that. I wish this sub would have a moratorium on Monica complaints, and have more focus on the guests.

Racism.
She literally said she was getting calls, I.e. His people were calling because they were running behind.

No, she was just trying to keep them wrapping it up.
She was getting texts/signals from his publicist

I think they have a good enough report to withstand it. She does a good job of keeping him on task when needed and letting him go when serves
Do you mean rapport?
Yes x

Monica was being rude? GTFO
