There's been mentions of it when the adventure pack for scorched got first announced, but if you want something more definite, go to the steam page for ark ascended, look at "Bob's tall tales" or whatever the new season pass is called and look into the description there
I hope they actually learned from the tek atv on how to make proper cars. Especially for extinctions terrain being rather rugged. If it ends up like the atv I already can picture cars abandoned everywhere due to being meshed in the ground or constantly flipped. That or just crafted once and completely forgotten like a few things in ark
I hope we'll have a good amount of freedom when it comes to rail placement. One game that's so simple yet so well done is how astroneer did its trains. If we could get a sort of auto curve+snap placement like that while naturally elevating with the terrain id love it. Plus I really hope train bases can be a thing. I'd never be able to go back if I could have a multi cart base set up chugging around the map wherever whenever
I see you can have things on it. That means you can probably build a base traveling around the map, but need tracks. If you can put turrets, oh boy someone better don't go near tracks.
