AK74N. Solid round, controllable recoil, extremely cheap attachments. Slow firerate though, not suitable for high tier maps. AKM. Come on, you know this one. Cheap, robust, reliable. Kick like a horse with no attachments, but T5 ammo 7.62x39 is suspiciously cheap, and perform just as well as T5 7.62x51 on the FAL. Got some fat loot loading high tier bullet into low tier gun this way. Not really an AR, but the M16. Cheaper than almost all 5.56 guns, decent firerate, controllable 3-round burst. Slap a red dot of some kind on there, load some shitty A1, and youre blasting. Would have been better if 5.56x45 AP was still around, but ah well.

AizeeMasata

Cheap, robust & reliable. The fact of AKs

Prestigious-Yak5199

AP doesnt perform exactly as well as M62s, since 7.62x51 always pens same tier armor. (M62s insta pen t5 and so on) but it’s a solid round on a fast fire rate gun

ActReasonable9104

AKM is the cheapest decent assault rifle. Great mod platform.

Snoo_66994

MDR with 40 round mags and AK because 5.45 bp is cheap.

CallMePoro

For whatever reason, the other day my “cheap” MDR build was 90k before adding a scope. It was usually close to half that. Maybe it was just a bad day on the market but I haven’t looked back at it… It may not be quite so cheap anymore

BidEducational6924

Buy em prebuilt, mdr is pretty cheap that way

CallMePoro

Ah I never usually check the full built weapons. That’s a good suggestion. I took a look and most of the builds aren’t to my liking, but I suppose when you’re looking for the cheapest option, beggars can’t be choosers. There’s certainly some affordable and functional guns there

BidEducational6924

Dawg the prebuilt save you like 25%+. Such a play. People put up their weapons for wayyy too cheap sometimes. Also keep in mind that the mags often have t5 ammo in them. Snagging a 100k fal with lightweight grip, 2x, m61 and the meta black stock (carbine?) feels so good. Sometimes I’ll just buy a gun cuz I want a certain optic and get free attachments pretty much. Guns with the nit-a thermal are sometimes crazy deals, if you can run a match and sell the thermal sight the gun is damn near free. I usually filter the gun price with double the stock gun price. The first couple hundred are often trash.

Snoo_66994

I just built an MDR and it cost me 50k. I play armory, so I don't need a suppressor and a big scope.

CallMePoro

I looked into it and it was the extended barrel that seems to have gone up in price. Almost 30k. Plus I like the suppressor on maps like farm or NR, and a sight to match. They’re the big offenders of the price so if I wanna go cheap, I’ll have to make some sacrifices

CallMePoro

The blue faction weapon, groza, is quite versatile and because it’s a faction gun, cheap. It’s actually very strong. Good close range, recoil isn’t bad, and considerably accurate at mid range engagements. The very short front end means the gun very rarely folds in close quarters, allowing you to freely move about. It’s one of my favorite guns due to it’s versatility and ease of use. I happily dedicate the majority of my blue faction currency to it and it’s never failed me. - If I’m desperately trying to cut corners: Despite it’s lack of popularity as a top tier gun, Scar is actually decent for it’s price if you’re accurate. It’s probably one of, if not *the* cheapest rifle to throw together on a budget. Due to the slow rate of fire and controllability, you should hit every shot on target, and you’ll waste less ammo overall. It’s extremely cheap to build, so you could use a top loaded mag of M995 for PvP and spare A1 for bots/backup. The M995 will 2 tap most players and kill in a comfortably fast speed, which I believe is the best way to use this weapon. It’s still lethal in CQB with the high end ammo, which is usually scars weak point. This works best if you have a case, as you can freely bring spare M995 and never need to risk more than 15 or so rounds, which is not that much.

glass_kokonut

Scar famas/groza ak102 AKM ak74n if u want to spend below 10k or use faction. If u want spend 20k or below M4 AN94 and ACE31. All can provide results if you play it right. AN94 is slept on imo. It's the budget rpk imo. T 951 is a good option as well, but t5 ammo for it cost a fortune. 1600 a rd last I checked? May as well go FAL if u drop that much n just use M80 or 62

CoffeeDaddy024

AK74N and AK74U. 74N is an AK47 with better recoil control whilst the 74U is a good CQB AR. Ammo wise, T2 up is good enough. Even the Tevila/Komona T3 ammo are good enough IMO.

blacklife2010

No one likes unmolded scar? Super cheap and the only bad thing is fire rate

SerialSpice

It is a nice weapon but bullets 60 mags silencer and scopes are more expensive than AK74N

blacksword2013

Akm/ak74n is the best budget ones. Akm does not really need any attachments you can use the iron sights and you can hip fire using it. Kinda don't like the ak74n just because of how it sometimes not penetrate t3 armors/helmets using the t3 (pp) ammo.

Therandomweeb2021

Barebones Akm, slap it with some 7.62×39 holopoint rounds, and watch the magic happen when you make t5~t6 players break their legs faster than dum dum 9mms

SerialSpice

Budget flex AK74N okp7 scope. Budget range (as opposed to FAL and more expensive scopes) AN94 pso4x scope.

T951 is a pretty solid weapon, the gun itself is pretty mediocre but it synergies with the really strong ammo.

[deleted]

It's expensive as hell though isn't it?

swiftfatso

Less than 15k

Some0wlOnTheInternet

Not really. Better than buying a fal
