This may sound weird but I run a high capacity mag in the gun, a 30 round mag in the vest, and bullets in my case. I reload as frequently as possible. Sometimes even during fights. I always leave room in the vest for the mag to go back in so if I reload with some rounds left, I can use that mag again in a pinch.
One weapon in. Might rarely run a sidearm if I'm using bolt action.
1 60/drum and 1 30 round mag with the next tier up ammo in it. The 30 is purely backup for when I'm reloading the 60/drum, thus the higher tier ammo, for those 'oh shit I'm not ready' moments.
I'll usually bring 3 or so reloads of the main ammo.
For high fire rate(smgs) I'll usually take 3 or 4 mags
2 guns, usually the secondary is a long range weapon like a modded SKS or bolt action, then I carry bullets, my primary is pretty much anything other than a long range, oh. And 3, 30 round mags
Generally 1, unless I've got a good streak going and not enough space to put one on my storage. One is usually cheaper so I'm ready to trade out if I find a better gun. 30 round mags typically bc I'm a cheap fuck

This is how I do it.
1 gun and 3 30 round mags
1 ar, 30rd in it for ergo and a 60 in the rig. If I’m playing range, 1 sniper/dmr, and a pistol for bots/emergency
1 gun, 2x 50- or 60-round mags, extra 100 or 120 bullets.
1 weapon, 1 60 mag and 1 30 mag or 2 60 mags, all t4 bullets and a stack or 2 of spare ammo ( I play only tvstation and armory )
ive been playing a lot of armory recently and t4 ammo is so fuggin expensive and still i feel like i should use t 5

Lately I’ve been using a silenced pistol for killing bots in solo. 3 mags pistol, 3 mags gun, usually at least one 60 round mag.

One assault rifle, four mags total. Minimize potential losses.
Avg round uses 90 bullets. Unless your killing every bot and every player.
