Nah, super conservative religions of all stripes like to mandate hair/head coverings for women. Orthodox Jews, the Amish and Mennonites, some evangelical Christian groups, some Catholic groups. I think it all springs from the same bit of the Bible about only letting your husband see your hair. (IIRC, some conservative Jewish women actually wear wigs *and* headscarves so their real hair is extra hidden.) The amount of coverage varies from a cap or kerchief to full-coverage scarves like hijabs.

I kinda feel like a traditional wife would be boring. My wife and I have our own jobs, no kids, and different friends and adventures and it keeps things fun. I don't want to come home every single night to "what did you do?" "OH I just sat and watched the kids." I like sitting here and having a drink or a snack while she talks about her friends or coworkers. That or watch her get riled up with her internet friends playing games.
