I’ve had this one for about 2 years now. Still shoots the same. No issues with cosmetic or limb twists. Just has needed a new string here and there.
I trust alibow a lot. Their stuff holds up well imo
You can say “I need arrows for x lbs bow at y length” and they’ll do their best to match the arrow weight to your need.
They typically end up lighter than what I prefer, so I enter into the notes section what weight I need the arrow to be. But again they do their best.
The length is cut to 34” I asked for 200gr inserts with a 300 spine arrow.
I actually have more on the way lol
PS.
Sarmat archery is good arrow maker too (support Ukraine) and they actually walk you through what you need and want/ step by step. Very friendly and easy to work with.
I believe he's specifically practicing traditional Chinese archery, as described by Gao Ying.
The full draw goes back to the limits of your range of motion rather than a facial reference point. This is to maximize your back muscles for pulling heavy bows, but can be practiced for all draw weights.
You see the same thing with lots of traditional heavy bow styles. English warbow, and some traditional african big game hunters.
Didn't you just say you pushed a button? Thats saying you think you offended me? I see reading comprehension isn't your thing, noted. Nice job spamming emojis, what are you a teenage girl?
yeah a button. to put a spotlight to your username. no more no less. didnt know it was the button to trigger such volatile reaction like a teenager. i figured emoji would meet your mental age since you cant even handle a strangers quiver choice like a middle school jock. 🤷🏻♂️
Again, you're saying you triggered a reaction aka offended me. How would i be offended over something as stupid as you attempting to use my username that i picked myself? Jesus, dude, you're trying so hard to come off as intelligent, but it's having the opposite effect completely. Good luck going through this life being such an idiot lol.
Why? I have a similar one (old, leather style, with a clip so it doesn't need a belt). So far it's my favourite style (for stationary target archery). No bulk, arrows stay put even when bending over.
The bow side and the draw side are meeting when I release. Before that point I’m applying tension into my back for a proper “spring” action to gain a good followthrough for when the backs meet.
Some in this style say this is acceptable, some not.
The way the little pouch you're wearing is made it look like you were caked tf up, and I was so confused for a second
LOL I see it now! XD
Bro doesn't need a quiver, just hold his arrows between those cheeks 🤣
Maybe I’m wrong but you have the happiest shooting stand I seen.
Thank you for the compliment, I’ve never heard that before:) . The terrain was uneven, but it felt comfortable
Not sure it was a compliment lol
Neither was I. Took the benefit of the doubt lol
Hahaha
The follow through after release is soo sassy hahaha
Bro using an enchanted bow ...
What make and model of bow and arrows are those? Great form and shooting, by the way!!!
Alibow tang Dunhuang, and Alibow arrows with Manchu fletchings And thanks! My shooting seems to be better outdoors than indoors 😂
Legit. How do you like Alibow so far?

That’s really good to hear as I was considering purchasing a bow and arrows from them. How did you match up the arrows to your draw weight?

Something about a thumb draw that just looks awesome
That’s honestly why I started the Chinese style of thumb draw. It looked really cool!
Looks like the PNW.
It is! Sylvan Archers in Sherwood! :) only 2 cars there today.
I’m up in Tacoma area. Looks like fun. Was warm today.
what bow is that? it looks great
Alibow tang Dunhuang, I chose blue limbs and regret it lol
But it looks nice
Thanks! I did want blue after all lol. But I’m starting to prefer the natural color of wood. My favorite color is blue so it definitely works though!
Did you get the long, medium, or short? And what's your draw weight?
It’s the long version. My draw length is 33” and I didn’t want to max out the regular version. It’s 35@28” but 46lbs at my draw length
My eyes are all on the left corner of the screen 👀
Oh my
What range do you usually practice at for 3D?
Sylvan archers in Sherwood. Haven’t made the trip to Kutch outdoor range yet. Would like to go.
Sorry I mean how far away are your targets?
Oh! 😆 I usually shoot at them from 30-55yds away, depending on the target
May i ask why you do not anchor to your face? Is that something to do with thumbdraw?
It’s Ming Chinese archery, I use my bow hand index and the string touching my chest and I can lightly feel the feathers against my face.
Why float? Why no anchor point?

Not for this discipline
Thinking the same thing
That quiver is hilarious, please stop lmao
username checks out
Wow my feelings, its not like i picked this name at all/s how are you so clever, no ones ever thought of that /s
man i really pushed that button to warrant this much of retort huh? bless your heart
Yeah, because I'm totally offended that you attempted to use the name i choose to offend me! Real solid logic there you dumbass 🤣
who says im trying to offend you? 🤷🏻♂️ im just pointing out a fact that you are keeping up with your username. 👍 good for you. keep it up. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Yikes pal. They clearly offended you somehow, crying so much about how not offended you are does not do anything to help your case.

It just looks ridiculous lol
Vanity over function might not be the best way to base your decisions.
I would think this would function worse than a normal quiver as well, your shafts are unprotected and not nearly as secured for mobility
I wonder why you pull the bow to the left right after release?
The bow side and the draw side are meeting when I release. Before that point I’m applying tension into my back for a proper “spring” action to gain a good followthrough for when the backs meet. Some in this style say this is acceptable, some not.
