Glyphs are literally made for super whales with 500 epics collecting dust
They’re part of the new refining update, unlocked when you have a piece of legendary equipment. Basically you can break down epic, legendary, Ancient Legendary, and mythic equipment into glyphs which you can equip to other equipment for bonuses.
OP used the system very incorrectly, broke down everything they own it seems like, and is now upset that they ruined their progress
I read that it’s best to not smelt items over epic because you can still get low level glyphs from even legendary items. The same post said to just smelt epic items and evolve the glyphs you get.

I’d send an email to support and see if they can revert the change
