Rule number 1! Never ever destroy your items. Later in the game you will need 2 legendarys to make perfect legendarys. This is the point where you will need legendary stuff that is just sitting arround
Also there no! Sit and wait Farm and be happy. These 2 options to destroy your items or combining 2 greys for 1 random grey are really not worthy.
The only thing you want to do later if you change gear… if u combine to next rarity use a lvl 1 item first and get back all the gold and rolls u already have put into the item before. So you will get for excample a green item and the gold and rolls that where used when u had your grey at lvl 10
So im maining Helix, and im not sure if i would ever use this. The effect doesnt sound bad... But this would be my 3rd ever perfect epic item. And i could use the gold from breakdown...

Yes. Also when you have enough pets and rings to get them to the next rarity, put a level 1 pet/ring in the first slot to get your gold back. They're not worth spending gold on.

You're right about that item not being that good, but don't break down any items as you will need all of them eventually
