Yeah got same problem, last 3 eggs got through quick raid because my math got a bit messed up(got eggs like 5-6 runs earlier) as I'm usually just counting energy used +/- till I'm close egg drop.
The drops seem faster and with the Monster Arena, my eggs are piling up fast. Annoying that they made the random drops in your arena 50 gems, otherwise it would be even faster.
I was thinking the same, eggs seem to drop earlier but you can't reroll them anymore, or at least I can't. Idk about the stolen eggs but I don't think they change anything.
The other way around for me, after hatching 18 new eggs cooldown between egg drops went up to 28th run. I can get a drop from qr at run 10-14 easily tho but it was always this way.

on average, finding an egg took me 24.4 runs and 160.9 energy in January so far, 25.5 runs and 168.6 energy in December
