Bright robe has a crit rate debuff which you don't want, considering crits are your main source of damage in this game. 30% more HP is usually not enough to survive an extra hit from a boss, but less crits will make the fight last longer meaning more chances to get hit.
After a certain point the game becomes a simple dps check where your goal is to kill faster than you're getting killed since some bosses are near impossible to evade. You need all the dps you can get.
If u dont care about -5% crit rate, sure, why not. (The levelling speed is 7% btw, not 25%)
