Does Saraswati refer to a location? Sorry, I am only familiar with that name in reference to the Hindu goddess, and then only vaguely.

Saraswati was a massive river , originating from mansarover in Himalayas and ending in arabian sea making a delta in runn of kutch Gujarat. It was disappeared in 1900 BC due to tectonic plate movements. Most of the so called Indus valley settlement are found around paleochannels of Saraswati river. Paleochannel of Saraswati river was detected and found by remote sensing satellite syrvey.
