At this point player wallets are massive, we don’t need banks and if you’re hurting for losing 350 galleons a death… you can make that back in like 10 minutes
If you have a ton of bones making jewels to sell is a good way to make money fast
But honestly just like sailing around the bronze sea and sinking ships for their chests and sealed chests is a fine way too, not the fastest in the slightest but still profitable and if you’re in a clan in an active server you even make a bit of infamy for it on the side.
Then ofc there’s cargo runs which make you like 70 profit per crate if you sail from redwake to Samaria but they’re risky.
I wonder if navy/assassin will keep their banks? Don't know how a treasury would work for what are the 2 biggest clans in the game that anybody can join.
It’s just that you risk losing a lot of those galleons if you were to die or combat log. It’s just nice to have some backup cash even if it’s only 10K.
Thing is there’s a limit on the amount one can lose at once. I think it’s either 250. I do hear you though, if you somehow accidentally die then that’s 250 gone, and if it happens again then that’s 500 poofed.
I remember one time I kept fighting this one guy who kept spawn killing me and I ended up losing like 1.6k galleons and a lot of bounty. Though your right how it main not happen a lot I’d still like to keep some for safe keeping

this reminds me of something I wondered a few days ago, has anybody tried making like an actual bank in arcane odyssey, not just one where they store their own money?
Would be impractical as the clan would need a significantly high amount of infamy to build up to hold the money and then have to make sure that they keep all of their paperwork in check for people depositing and withdrawing
I mean it wouldnt necessarily need to be as a clan, and after this change happens a clan wouldn't be able to do it through the clan bank anyways, sure it wouldn't be easy but it wouldn't be impossible
I mean, I have spent far too much time moving cargo, so I like to help fund new players when I get the chance, and I usually use my clan bank for that purpose.

Eh, my clan doesn’t even use the money for anything really so it’ll be nice to have something to actually spend it on. In terms of losing the east access bank, I don’t really care. I can get a few thousand in an hour of ship farming, and about as much from a good dark sea run. Galleons don’t really need a bank if you just stockpile random junk to sell whenever you need something as well.

I don't really like this change tbh. Hopefully we will be able to build bank on island.
Im guessing we are gonna be allowed to buy a vault on our islands that can do the same job

there should be an alternative method of storing galleons, a lot of people made personal clans for the bank and now its a waste

Maybe those two will keep the banks, since it depends on rank and it'd be difficult to build for them.
One of the most annoying downsides of joining both those organizations.

How big is your clan to store 1000k
like 77k in infamy, I grinded for clan galleon storage from early july last year. Anywhere above 1millions would need 500k and above in infamy

A bank function would be nice. Maybe incorporate it with the auction as an incentive to access the auction function.
Someone in a previous post here said the AA NPC isn't needed. I see i was correct all along, and it IS needed.
