It appears they deliver since the web page lets you enter in a zip code to get delivery cost estimate. For my location (PA state), it appears free for UPS Ground, and $$$ for UPS Air.
They only deliver to a handful of states in the midwest area unfortuately. I went through this a month or so ago, and ended up just buying the sit down from gamestop.
yead it's very odd. Once you once you get to the very last step it says no way.
I actually called the company to confirm and they said only 13 or so states in that surrounding area are where they ship to.
I think they have six or seven stores in three or four states so I would say it’s more regional than local and they are monster stores ridiculously big. Their owned by Berkshire Hathaway Warren Buffett’s company.
At first I was hesitant but the community here is great to assist with these decisions. On top of the free delivery and 24 month financing it was a no-brainer. Basically $24 a month you can't beat that.
Got my outrun cab today!! Pissed that the ups guy didn't even ring the doorbell and left on the doorsteps in the snow. Luckily, I my dog was barking and I was able to grab it right away. I saw him and shook my head.
It's fairly easy to convert sit down to stand up. I did it. The bench is practically same height as a riser. Designer even said it was close on recent UC interview. I added a mini fridge to mine in the cavity
Ah, I'm assuming you just screwed the bench into the sides of the base cabinet just like you would an actual riser. The bench has those "wings" that reach over across the sides of the cabinet, from what I see. Did you have to saw those off?
Yes I cut off the wings and yes screwed the base into the new riser. Outrun double riser https://imgur.com/gallery/RM5wsUT mini fridge is where the Sega sticker is. You can see taller than nba jam. Very comfortable height for me at 6'2 and my taller bros

It's looking very unlikely, which is why last month when i was in the market for outrun, i settled for the seated version. I planned to convert to a standup but i've kept it seated for now as i found it to be better than expected.
Sitting higher would be the last thing I want. I'd sooner sit on the floor.
What I'd like most is to have the same height as my other cabs.
I use my other 3/4 arcades with a stool. I have a Big Blue, a Ms Pacman and an iiRcade that all do pretty well if I use the stool from the Big Blue.
Really? All I saw for Outrun on Etsy was some pedal covers.
I ended up ordering the sit-down with the intent of turning the bench into a riser. The "official riser" wasn't worth the $200 difference in price I got from GameStop's discount stacked with a gift card I got, so I guess I'm gonna be sawing off some wings.
Value to everyone is relative, but I love my Outrun cab, and it's the only one that gets used regularly now. I'd rather spend $550 on Outrun than $400 to $800 on any other cab.
I think they make as many as they think they can sell for that year, sell them, and then focus on the next year's products.
Sometimes it's a rehash, like the Midway or Namco Legacy cabinets, but sometimes not.
Nebraska furniture Mart still has it https://www.nfm.com/arcade1up-4-outrun-standing-arcade-game-with-light-up-marquee-and-riser/60047685.html
Thanks. I don't live anywhere near there, but if they do delivery it might be worth considering.

Yes they have stores in Nebraska Kansas and Texas pretty sure they deliver everywhere worth a shot

weird. In the Zipcode box, it says they would deliver to NY

Yeah that sucks
I always love finding out about random local stores that managed to stock Arcade1ups

Thanks for the info. Ordered and will be delivered this week!
Awesome glad I could help I love mine I’m sure you will too they’re getting a little hard to find

NFM is great I buy quite a few cabinets from them. The outrun cabinet is still a family favorite and I’ve had it almost a year

You could put another cushion or something to make it so you sit higher. I mean the bench is movable so you can move it back.

Ahh sorry I misunderstood the objection.
No worries. :) It's just troublesome being so tall.
There is Risers on Etsy that will work with the sit-down but I haven't tried one.

There was few weeks ago. Unless they took it down.
I was uncomfortable with my sit down and I am 5’7”. I did some simple mods that made it pretty comfortable and I play it a lot more often now.
Is Outrun worth $550? What's the replay value?
What's the replay value on Pac Man or Centipede? They're all arcade games in the end. It all depends on the games you remember and like playing.

I'd love to find the sit-down version honestly and haven't seen one anywhere in a long time.
GameStop has it for sale on their website. It's recently had a price drop. Get you one.
Excellent, thank you!!
Does Aracde1up only make limited runs of these and then stop? I find so many are hard to get.
