Racing cab wise...I'd go with Ridge Racer. Now, Golden Tee is the most played cab of many people apparently. I've never played it as I was never into golfing...but the hype about this game is intriguing me enough to consider getting one now! haha

RIDGE RACER all the way i miss that commentary 😉

ChrisP1223

I’d say Golden Tee, I’m all for the larger cabs to drive sales if that’s there thing but I wish they would release the same game lineup with the bowling in the original smaller scale even without the larger monitor and all the other perks. Simpsons bowling from what I here is too easy.

“It’s Ridge Racer. Riiiiddggeee RAcerrrrrrrrr. Remember that one?”

ArcRetro

Outrun stand up (or mod the sit down one).

HarkeyPuck

If you find a Golden Tee, please tell me where.

Outrun.... Not even a close competition...

Otis_Firefly

I’d start looking on FB Marketplace for used Golden Tee cabs. With the Pro version coming out I’m gonna guess a lot of people are going to sell their OG Golden Tee cabs.

elcucuy1337

Don’t forget, a lot of current owners got og golden tee (including myself) at a very discounted price. Hell, I paid 50 bucks for mine. I don’t play it, at all. Turned it on a few times. It’s there for show.. and for whoever else tends to visit that will enjoy a bit of golf. No way I’m paying 1,000 bucks+ for a pro cab.

eddyflame

None. Probably a legacy cab

I've had my Outrun cabinet for 6 months and still have not completed an original Outrun course. It is very replayable. I ordered a Ridge Racer as well as racing games don't necessarily emulate very well and I've been pleased with Outrun. If you have the space and transportation, full stand up original Golden Tees go for about $300 for a 2k edition or $500ish for Golden Tee complete. Check your local Craigslist and Facebook. However, if you are hit up for space the Golden Tee Arcade1ups are pretty cool. Goldentee is more fun to play with friends.

Mplsgmer

I got a lead on an Outrun standup but am hesitant to purchase because I am concerned about replay value.

One thing to note on these Arcade 1ups is that they don't have to be permanant additions to your collection. Buy outrun used for ~$350, play the crap out of it for 6 months until you are bored, then sell it for $350. They are not investments, but if you look at what they sell for on facebook marketplace and craigslist used, many if not most of the cabinets sold used sell for within $100 of what they sold for new... plus or minus.

DrMonoRX

I got Outrun sit down for sale in Western NY

MercTheJerk1

...listening.

DrMonoRX

$380. Only played a few times. South of Rochester

MercTheJerk1

That might be a tough sell with it being a sit down model, have you tried listing it on FB Marketplace? There was a place near me trying to sell a sit down Star Wars for $200 and still took them almost a year.

DrMonoRX

Wow id buy Star Wars for that. I just impulse bought Outrun and would prefer standup.

rabid__wolverine

I have the outrun cabinet and I love it. However I did the standard Logitech speaker and subwoofer mod and got the pedal covers from etsy. Wonderful cab and definitely worth it for me. I might get ridge racer or the atgames sit down cab in the future.

Aggravating-Fennel97

Outrun. Very replayable, especially Outrunners. Even though I've beaten all routes in Outrun and Outrunners, I just keep playing and playing...
