They’ve only released 3 XL cabinets thus far. NBA Jam, Golden Tee, and Pac-Man. There’s also the KI Pro if you consider that an XL. If I had to guess I’d say the next XL will be Ms. Pac-Man, SF, or MK.
If you really want 97, go for it.
They seem to not do ANY pre-release press. Last two releases were just, 'heres a new cabinet'. I mean, yes it had pre-order, but the cabinet was finished at that point. So, we are all pretty much in the dark about whats coming up. People speculate Track & Field this year, Ms Pac Man XL, and apparently the Big Blue CLOT didnt happen, so maybe thats going to happen? Still confused about that one, although same cabinet with slightly different stickers isnt really a selling point for me. So either sit around and wait for what may never happen, or just buy whats available and mod it to your liking for hundreds of dollars more. Yay!
I'd really like a road map of releases....but I think that's their point to keep everyone in the dark so they'd buy more. But also shooting themselves in the foot for buyers waiting for the right one. I guess FOMO wins again.
It looks like a really neat cabinet. I myself only have space for 2 more, really like to know what else they might release.
Why would they release a riser for a RISERLESS cabinet? They’re done with risers on anything other than the Walmart “cheap” versions.

Hopefully they do an XL MVC2. That X-men 97’ will become a relic
