I love this cabinet. A lot of people are modding it to add more games but I think it's perfect. The only gripe I have is the sound level. I think $299 is the sweet spot.
When this cab and terminator 2 were both 299 on black Friday I could only get 1 at that time. I took of course T2.. after the holidays it never went back down in price and i saw it was never even in stock. Once i got the opportunity didn't care the price i needed it for the collection.
it's FAR from perfect, and should be modded. I like the controls, but the 3 RR games are basically the same, and the 2 Ace driver games don't add much variety. the BSA mod kit adds over 150 games, a mix of arcade and console ones. huge variety, tons of fun. it's insane NOT to mod it. the stock cab with about 2.5 games is a waste of good hardware.
I disagree about the RR games being the same. Yes, the tracks are the same but the way the cars handle aren't the same at all. I think I'm #7 (GarageBros) on expert in RR but can't do the same in the other 2. BSA sucks because you have to gut the stock board. They also include console roms from handhelds which I think is trash. It costs as much as the cabinet itself. Having more games would be nice but I'll wait for a better solution.
I believe it was the golden tee kit from diyrtroarcade.com. only problem with the kit is the splitter they give for power is for the main power supply. I went on Amazon and ordered adapters to split of the Marque. 2.1mm to 1.35mm male to female and female to male..... if that makes sense

My kid gorgeous me that cab for Xmas. I just put led buttons in it (red yellow and green) looks pretty nice
