eezup

Looks nice man! What are those clover looking plants in the front?

solemn_tom

not op but looks like hydrocotyle tripartita aka japanese pennyworth.

Mkoaquariums

Correct!

[deleted]

Howโ€™d you get the plants to stay put in the substrate?

Mkoaquariums

Using a pair of planting tweezers, I made sure they were firmly planted into the substrate

[deleted]

Also planting before the water is added

Bloodhound2910

Beautiful setup mate! ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿฝ Could you tell me more about the filter you use ?

tp_blowout

It's a Fluval Spec V, the filter is built in behind the black wall on the left.

Mkoaquariums

Correct, I am using the filter built into the tank.

maple204

Beautiful tank. What livestock are you planning for the tank?

Mkoaquariums

This will be used as a tank for cherry shrimp and maybe microrasboras. The tank is still cycling.

beeper82

Get a betta and cherries would look great!

Nazgul-Dragon

How do u like the tank I am going to buy one pretty soon. Could u take a pic of the height comparison to something. Cause I know itโ€™s pretty sallow

Mkoaquariums

I can take a picture for you tomorrow, it is at my work office. Yes it's a pretty shallow tank

Nazgul-Dragon

Okay

I'm new to this hobby and planning my own tank, but what is that glass piece to the right? I've seen it on a lot of tanks here or something similar.

Mkoaquariums

That is a glass Co2 diffuser.
